I reached out to five other handymen, JC was first to respond. Our shelf was installed next day! JC was prompt, courteous and professional. I dare say, we've found our handyman! Thanks JC! read more

JC was absolutely wonderful today! He helped us hang a light, many shelves, and mirrors and did an excellent job. Very professional, friendly, prompt and courteous. If you are looking for someone who works hard, well and cares about what he/she does, JC will be perfect for you. I'm so glad we found someone dependable and honest. I will definitely recruit his help in the future, and you should too! read more

Very disappointed in service. Provided quote and did not return to finish work. Tried to contact him but would not return phone call

This review is based on our interaction for the work of restoring a drawer so that it runs on track. It involved buying parts of right fit so it glides on the current track, removing the old parts, and installing the new. It was a 20 min job. What I appreciated about JC was that he was 1) very responsive to message and texts 2) very professional: came with shoe covers and a tarp to make sure work area stays clean and contained 3) reasonable quote based on all the response I got Thanks JC! read more

JC has done a few small jobs for me and he is timely and reasonable. I would hire him for sure!

Called and asked for a quote to hang two curtain rods. Total of 12 screws. He quoted $30 per rod ! !!!!!. Ridiculous. The rods were $29. Unbelievable. Maybe he didn't want to waste his time. I would rather him tell me he couldn't take the job. read more

JC provides a good priced punctual fast and quality job. He did a tough tile patch job for me in less than 4 hours and it looks awesome. If you need a handyman who won't over change and will do a great job JC is your man! read more

JC did an amazing job on some drywall patching and painting and clearing off some brush that I could not get to on our side roof. I 100% will be using him again. Fair pricing, quick and he is a really cool guy! read more

Fantastic. Easy appointment setup, on time, fast, reasonably priced, and a very nice guy. He was able to do numerous odd jobs around the house- things that I've been putting off for months. Will absolutely call him again! read more

Jesse is an excellent craftsman with a stellar work ethic. We had a huge, hard drywall job to be done with our bathroom. Jesse clearly knows what he is doing. He worked diligently for many hours making precise cuts, matching up and shimming studs, laying the mud to match thickness of the plaster on the existing wall, and texturing it beautifully and spot on to the existing wall. On top of the wonderful job, he has very competitive prices, is a true professional (shows up when he says he will, makes very little mess, cleans up after himself, etc) and is a friendly, nice person. I will definitely be calling JC Handyman Services the next time we need anything done and i recommend him to anyone who wants excellent work done. Thank you Jesse! read more

JC gave me the lowest quote for to fix my shower floor and water damage areas in my master bathroom. He showed up on time, clearly communicated what he was doing, and told me his concerns and came back later to finish the job once the bathroom was fully dried. At no point I felt he was taking advantage of me (which is huge to me since I am a female and I often times feel uncomfortable with contractors or handyman that want to do more than what I asked for so they can charge more). I will definitely tell my friends and family about JC!! read more

I needed a repair done at my home, and my friend recommended JC to me. I gave him a call, and he is always very accommodating with my schedule, is able to do a lot of different type of repairs, and he is very good at his work. He always has a great attitude as well. I am very happy to use him whenever we need a repair done. :o) He has helped us with a closet remodel, with my babies nursery, with drywall repair, etc. He is great. Thank you JC! :o) read more

JC is so friendly, on time and versatile in his skills. After doing the job he showed me the details of what he did. I appreciate that. I showed him a couple of other projects I needed like fixing a big iron gate and getting hand rails for outside stairs. He said he could do it so I'll give him a call again. His fee was very reasonable. read more

JC did an amazing job repairing our doors and valve. We'll definitely call him again for future repairs. Thanks, JC.

Quality work, courteous, multi task. Jc did various jobs for me and was happy with the results.

JC Handyman was very responsive and the service was excellent. He was able to come earlier than originally expected, and this was very much appreciated. Within a few hours, he performed the site visit, presented options for bathroom fan replacements and shower door repair work, executed the trip to hardware store, and performed all the work discussed. His quote was fair and his workmanship was superb. JC was great, and I will use his services again and again. I highly recommend JC Handyman. read more

I recently had some work done by JC and I was very impressed. For me, it was his attention to detail that sets him apart. JC, even slipped on booties inside our house. Charged a reasonable price, then, gave me an excellent estimate for some future work I need done. As someone who respects others who take pride in their work, I don't have a problem recommending JC. read more

All around nice and professional. Showed up on time and did a great job for an extremely competitive price. Had a small job patching up my wall and setting metal curtain rods but some of quotes I was getting from other handymen were outrageous. Highly recommend. read more

JC just completed building a closet for us and I couldn't be happier! Good communication, efficient and great work. He was also very conscientious with keeping his work area clean and tools were uncluttered. I felt like he really respected our house when he was working in it. JC was a very nice and respectable guy. His prices are reasonable and did have a conversation with me prior to working if the job went in another direction how much that would cost as well. I respect his honesty and making sure we were on the same page before doing the job. The job came out good and will probably be calling him again for another project. Thanks JC! read more

I cannot even give a single star to JC Handyman Services. He raised the prices after he already quoted me a price. I had shelves that needed to be hung. He put them up and they were uneven and he said that he could not fix it. It was a complete half assed job. Then he proceeds to tell me the shelf that is hanging above my son's bed and my son's head is not very secure and that's just the way it's going to be. I would never recommend this handyman to anyone. He did the worst job at my home. I completely regret using this service. read more

JC was very friendly, punctual and efficient with fair prices. I will definitely use him for future needs.

J C was great! Was here before appointment time. Explained exactly what he would. I recommend him highly. Thanks JC

I contacted JC on a Thursday night and he was in my house Friday morning, he did mentioned in is quote that he needed to come and see what was needed to provide accurate pricing, but he gave me an estimate. He was polite did the job quickly and he even charged me less than originally quoted as the job was less than he had anticipated. I approached the Company about creating a double hung closet within an existing closet. We made an appointment. I drove 1/2 hour to the location where the closet is to be modified, the apartment I am moving into once it is ready. The appointment was between 330pm and 4pm. He did not show and he did not call me to tell me he couldn't make it or that he would be running late. I won't work with such a person and neither should you. My time is valuable and I resent having it wasted by someone who is simply inconsiderate and disrespectful. read more

JC is a very reliable handyman. He comes on time, tells me what needs to be done and actually does it. He did very well with plumbing issues that I had, and then with the lights in the kitchen. JC works fast and always checks in with me whether things look good, work well, etc. I am going to have other projects in the future, and I know I can count on him. I highly recommend him to anybody who needs work done in their appartments read more

Called JC when we were having an emergency and we needed a bunch of small things fixed around the house for an Open House. Spoke to JC and he came out same day and got everything done. We walked the property together and wrote down all the prices line item by line item. All in all, thankful and happy with all the work and price. read more

JC was nice and hardworking however, after giving us an estimate a few days later, he wanted us to change the size of our canned lights because of the difficulty. We showed him the materials we had already and initially said it was fine. We needed a window replaced, ceiling patched and painted, canned lights placed. He said it would take 3 days. At the end of the second day, I was trying to confirm the 3rd day for window replacement and he said, "Oh, I won't be able to get to it, I will call you, boss." I got a feeling he wasn't going to call, and he never did. The patchwork he did was sub par, plus, at payment time he wanted more money than we agreed and kept saying, "it was hard work." I would have agreed to more, but that's all the cash I had on hand at payment time. read more

JC just finished hanging blinds today in my bedroom, livingroom, and bathroom, and he also hung a picture in my livingroom, and agreed to come back and do some other work that I needed done. He was on time, very professional, kind, and honest. The cost for his service was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him and I will definitely be using his service from here on out. read more

JC is extremely responsive and works hard and has reasonable pricing. He arrives on time and does a quality job. Would highly recommend.

JC did a great work fixing a ceiling damage that was caused by the recent rain we had. Hard worker and personable.

Removed my review, as I posted to the wrong account, sorry. I had contacted JC at the last minute, but my job required two people, which he didn't have at that time. read more

I love Yelp and have found great businesses through Yelp for several years. This time not so good. I hired Jesse to do several small projects and yes he was prompt and showed up when he said he would. There were issues with the work and when I asked him about it, his standard response was that he thought it looked beautiful. I had him hang a small cabinet above the toilet and rather than centering it over the toilet, he mounted it off center against an adjacent wall. When I mentioned that it didn't look right, he disagreed with me. Final blow came when i asked him to put new sheet vinyl in a bathroom and he laid it at least two inches crooked. It made me dizzy to look at how off kilter it was. When I asked him about it, he said he thought it looked beautiful and if I wanted it re-done he would charge me three times the original price he quoted me (already high to begin with). Needless to say, I will not be hiring JC Handyman Services again. read more
