So when I got into an accident and had to buy a new car, my first goal is to have a dash cam installed immediately and professionally. So I took my new car to this place and their work is superb. I'm so happy with their workmanship that I asked them to install a dash cam to my husband's car as well. He was hesitant at first, insisting he and his friend can do it but after he saw how clean they did it, he was very happy. Now he can't stop showing it to his friends and co-workers. I'm not sure why this place isn't under the Yelp's radar, but I'm glad I found them! I always pass this place all the time, but never got to stop by until now. Edgar (who fixing the tints on the picture) helped me right off the bat. He examined the damaged tints and started right away. The shop has a machine to get a precise cut for any type of car so there was no time wasted on doing it the old fashion way. The time Edgar took felt like 35-45 minutes just for the front, from removing the old tints, cleaning up the windows, and carefully putting on the new tints. Honestly, I didn't have to wait long. If you live around the area, I would highly recommend them! The wait isn't long like the other tint shops. I'm glad I didn't have to keep driving with crappy tints and I was able to get them fixed the same day. Edgar was friendly, he understood my situation, and made me feel welcomed!

He has excellent,…read moreeasy-to-talk-to techs (Luis was as warm as he was masterful), and has been doing this since before people knew what a CD was. He's iconically earnest and perfectly cantankerous about getting you the best hardware and/or service he knows of. And he knows everything. He has the tall trophies, broken bones, and big belt buckles from literally decades of rodeos. When I first started working with him about 10+ years ago, I couldn't quite tell if he was the real deal or not. It felt a little like I'd stepped back in time or something. But he came through so many times with texting support on weekends when I was trying to watch a football game on DirecTV. Or if was something to do with the high-end car stereo he'd installed, he'd say, "bring it in around 10am when we're a little slower and we'll check it out right away." Alan has stood behind every product or service he's ever sold me. We all know how rare that kind of integrity is in our world. His shop may not look "glamorous" for those used to shopping in Apple stores, but he's not selling image. He's selling and installing the best car stereos on the market. Brands and systems that are almost always better than what Toyota, Lexus, or Mercedes Benz installed in your brand-new car. My wife's new Toyota, with all the bells and whistles that Toyota throws at their "Limited" lines, still doesn't have Apple CarPlay that connects wirelessly like the one Alan installed in my 6-year-old RAV. I do not believe there is truly anyone else (in SB county!) who could possibly know as much--much less "more"--about this world than Alan Gold. And now that he's repping Frontier Fiber for home and business internet, a TRUE Gigabit (and beyond!) service where you get better, 5-20 times faster, CHEAPER service than the Cox Monopoly game in Santa Barbara ever provided? What's there to think about? Give the man a call. Alan Gold is golden.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE 5-STAR service!!!…read more I can not say enough GREAT THINGS about Francisco and his work ethic. My husband and I stopped in on a Tuesday to get help with our stereo system in my 1967 Volkswagen bug. We had some electrical issues and an amplifier that had been installed with a new stereo system over 24 years ago had decided its life was over...and yes there was smoke coming from the backseat!! Well, how can one drive a convertible VW around town without Bob Marley tunes blasting from the stereo?? I just had to get this resolved! Francisco looked at the issue and we all agreed we wanted to install a new amplifier. He said he could have one the next morning - today 6.12.2024 - and as promised we dropped the car off and in one and a half hours (also as promised) we have a new amp! A nice compact Power Acoustik RZR1-2500D. Plus, he replaced fuses in the stereo system, all with much expertise and an amazing low price out the door! And you know what the best part was? Bob Marley sang to me all the way home. I highly recommend G Stereos in their new location (year 2024) at 1119 N. Ventura Ave. (Entrance to workshop is from alley in back). It was an A+ experience from start to finish and while I hope I won't need any windows replaced again in the future, at least I now know who to call! I stumbled upon this place thanks to a recommendation from a friend who got her window replaced here and when she told me the cost I was shook (because it was so low compared to quotes I had been getting from other places). I messaged them on yelp and got an immediate reply. The communication was amazing and consistent. They answered my questions, looked up my vehicle information with my VIN and gave me a quote. Imagine my surprise when they were THE BEST deal out of every place I contacted. And not only were they a great deal - they were literally 3x cheaper then what the dealer quoted me (I know I know - never get repairs at the dealership but still - that's an insane difference). I immediately booked with them. The whole process was seamless and professional. I dropped off my car in the morning, got a ride home and within three hours my car was ready for pickup. You really can't get this kind of price, quality, and timeliness anywhere else that I researched. Everyone was super nice too. Shoutout to Holly who handled the messages and was working the desk for check in and check out. I've found a new local small owned business that id definitely come to again and will recommend to my friends and family.
