Nevertheless the guy was nice about it, I just decided to take my business elsewhere and support people who care about other people's rights. Also, had he just looked it up in any way shape or form he would have realized he was wrong instantaneously. As a business owner, I would be frustrated with a counter employee who made my company lose out on $400.

Customer service starts at the beginning, such as answering the dang phone, and if you can't answer the phone, a message of who it is I called, AKA, business name, your hours of operation and who to dial next since you can't be bothered to answer the line you have listed. People wonder why so many businesses fail, especially up here on the hill. I can tell you why; because they disrespect their customers, can't even answer a phone or have an answering machine inform the caller of the basics, such as who they reached, what the hours of operation are, etc. Amazon it is then, I'll just have to wing it until my idem arrives. Really hate having to write a bad review for a small business, but here are the facts:…read more Two brand new, working, shotguns to go to Greg at GKC to get Cerakote done. Two brand new, NON-WORKING shotguns painted to look like popsicles were returned to us. The magazine tube, breach, and chamber were cerakoted and had blasting media baked into them. The safety on the JM Pro was stuck and had to be taken apart. Some of the cerakote rubbed off using our fingers. Greg offered to repaint (because the color scheme he chose looked like popsicles) and repair them (with an estimated turnaround in about a week). We sent one back for starters. 2 weeks late, his response changed stating that the issues were NOT caused by his cerakote and that he would CHARGE to repaint (cerakote coming off, painted like popsicles). In addition, turnaround time turned into 6 weeks because he just got 150 guns to cerakote. Told him just to return it so we can move on. After a few days, no shotgun or response. Upon contact, Greg stated he needed a California Dealer License to return it (even though this was a private party firearm). Upon follow-up, I was told the shotgun was "in the mail." Have yet to receive it. Now my opinion: I've sent a fair amount of business to Greg from my own stuff to my friends with no issues. He royally screwed up this (brand new) shotgun and failed to take responsibility for his actions. Apparently, the shotgun magically stopped working after his cerakote application, but according to him, he didn't cause it. Class action jerk-off and no sense of customer service as he openly MF's other customers behind their back to me. Sad I have to say this, especially after I had went to bat for him on his screw ups, only to have him go back on his word. It's too bad that Greg doesn't stand behind his work. Find another place to Cerakote.
