He took the time to answer my questions, kept me updated on the progress, and made sure I understood what to expect. The quality of the work speaks for itself. The optic cut came out exactly as planned, and the desert camouflage Cerakote exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail and craftsmanship are obvious. What stood out to me the most was that I never felt like I was being rushed or sold something I didn't need. Nate was honest, straightforward, and clearly takes pride in his work. Finding a gunsmith you trust isn't always easy, and I trust Nate with my firearms. If you're looking for quality Cerakote work, optic cuts, or custom firearm work, I highly recommend Gun Attic Customs. Thanks again, Nate, for doing such a great job on my Glock 21.

I ordered a gun from Sportsman's Guide (SG) who requires me to contact the FFL dealer I want to get…read moreit from before they send it there. I contacted KD Guns and they affirmed that they would accept the gun for me and I notified SG. I ordered the gun and never got a confirmation from Sportsman's Guide that it was shipped which they ALWAYS do within 24 hours. I waited for 3 days, never got the confirmation from them so I called. They said they left multiple messages for KD and never got a response. I contacted KD via e-mail (they never answer their phone) on 1-27-15 and told them that SG was waiting for their response, to contact them and get back to me that they had done it by noon on 1-29-15. Noon on the 29th came and went and I never heard from them. I again called SG to find out if KD had called and they said no and that they had cancelled my order because time ran out. I reordered the gun from SG and am having it shipped to another FFL dealer. I could be wrong but I can only assume that they didn't do it because I didn't buy the gun from them, I POSITIVELY DO NO RECOMMEND THIS UNRELIABLE COMPANY for the transfer of guns. 10-31-2015 Update: According to Sportsman's Guide, KD Guns did initially send them a copy of their FFL license but there was a problem with it. The address on the license was different than their shipping address and the reason they were trying to contact KD and KD never responded to them or to my calls to them requesting them to contact SG.

Pistols, Revolvers, Rifles, Shotguns he has them all for great prices. One down side is that he is only available in Sacramento and Colfax, and only a few days of the week, so it was one long boring drive from San Jose (4 hours there, 4 hours back.Wooohoooo) to pick up my gun after the 10 day waiting period. But Kern had everything set up so the pick up was quick and smooth. Actually the drive was pretty fun (since I've never been to Sacramento before) so I blame the State for making me wait to pick up my gun with their stupid law. P.S. The Sacramento location is his auto shop that you can pick up purchases from if you arrange with him.
