I usually don't leave bad reviews, but the technician was not very nice and seemed impatient the entire time. She stabbed my finger twice and cut it badly enough that it started bleeding. On top of that, the pedicure gel was already smudged before she even finished. It wasn't fully dry/cured, but she still put it under the light and called it done. The polish is uneven and messy. I've honestly never had a manicure or pedicure turn out this bad. Very disappointed with both the service and the quality of the work.

The nail technician was superb and the vibe inside was classy. It wouldn't be a summer beach trip (we leave tomorrow) without a visit to get the pigs doctored. I'm grateful for this experience. Normal practice to give my nails a rest between gel. Never once had this experience with regular polish over nails where gel has been removed. Nasty, rude and obnoxious man named Leon at the front insisting this is normal due to the texture of the nail after gel removal. I've been getting my nails done for around thirty years. The trends and products come and go. This nail salon has no OPI. They use Wave Gel. This is cheap crap that contains carcinogens and toxins unfortunately but many of the nail polishes do. Anyway, this place is a garbage hole. Save your time and money.

I never did get the name of the gentleman who did my manicure [and pedicure, since I had time and there was no long wait], but he did a great job and was quite friendly -much warmer and attentive than the ladies! The atmosphere is pretty inviting aesthetically speaking, but I must say that it wouldn't hurt for the greeters and other nail technicians to try to smile or at least "pretend" to be happy to see customers come into the salon. ...just saying...I am much more willing to pay for upgrades if it felt like I was gift rather than a burden. Overall, this location is worth at least one visit. I may return to see if any improvements have been made in their customer service.

We dried her nails for over 40 minutes in the shop, and they never did set. They were soft all day so we had to take the polish off when we got home because it was just if you hit anything the polish was pushing up. I know y'all were really busy today, but you need to take the time to do a good job on people who have appointments, and you are working on. While I'm from out of state, my daughter lives in Hillsborough, and would maybe frequent your shop but probably not after this. I paid $185 for two kids to have a pedicure and manicure and me to have a pedicure and manicure with gel polish and it's absolutely not worth it. The only good thing about the day was the gentleman who was working was very pleasant. The other two women were not.

Bull City Nail Lounge is, by far, her best masterpiece yet. From the moment I walk in, I'm welcomed with a smile and greeted by name. The salon has transformed from simply being a large space with plenty of stations into a beautiful, luxurious environment with a truly upscale feel. Lindsay is a perfectionist, and she expects that same level of excellence from her staff. It shows. The attention to detail, professionalism, and quality are consistently there every time I visit. What I enjoy most is that this doesn't feel like a place where you simply go to "get your nails done." It feels like an experience -- relaxing, polished, and indulgent in the best way. It gives me a chance to slow down, enjoy the softer side of life, and leave feeling put together. If you're looking for a true nail experience and not just an appointment, I absolutely recommend Bull City Nail Lounge. It is truly one of Durham's best-kept secrets.

My girlfriend sat for a little under 10 minutes to wait for the other tech, and then she got started. Overall, we were pleased with the service we received. Very professional and reasonably priced. The only thing that we didn't like was that there weren't any liners in the pedicure tubs. Other than that, they wore masks, and require you to wear one as well. Check it out, I recommend!
