This Publix truly represents the early stages of grocery stores and their customer service is just top notch. The meat counter was extremely kind and helpful in finding very specific ingredients and the staff at the front was even better. Someone unloaded my cart, I was greeted by the cashier. We had a full and friendly conversation while my groceries were bagged in a appropriate manner. All of the lanes were also open which was so nice I was in and out in no time! The store was also clean and perfectly stocked, very impressed. Thank you Flowery Branch Publix!

A friendlier and more helpful attitude would really improve the overall shopping experience. That said, the store itself is large and has a good variety of products. We were looking for a specific type of rice, but unfortunately they didn't have it in stock. However, they did have fresh vegetables and a solid selection of groceries, which was good to see. Overall, the store has potential because of its variety, but better customer service would make us more comfortable about visiting again.

I have been a regular customer at Cherians Indian Grocery in Cumming for the past 12 years, and…read moreuntil today, I had never experienced such poor customer service. During checkout, the cashier, who seemed to be new, made multiple billing errors with my items and did not handle the situation professionally when the mistakes were pointed out.My Idly rice bag was clearly marked as $21.99, but she billed it as $22.99. When I pointed it out, she asked me to go take a picture of the price tag. I told her I did not have my phone with me, and she said she would go check herself. She went but never returned, so I had to go and show her the price tag personally. Even after seeing the $21.99 label, she seemed confused and went to another counter to discuss it with another employee while chatting and laughing instead of resolving the issue professionally. Another item, Paneer, was marked $4.99 on the shelf but was billed as $5.99 and already packed into the bag. I had to ask her again to verify the price before she corrected it. To make matters worse, I had purchased 2 packs of Maggi and returned 1 pack before payment. She started searching through all my groceries as if something was wrong. When I politely asked what she was looking for and explained that I had only returned one pack, she responded very rudely, saying she needed to check everything. After payment, I simply told her that speaking to customers that way was not good for the store's reputation. Instead of handling the feedback professionally, she argued back and told me not to speak to her like that. I understand that new employees need time to learn, but basic customer service and proper training are extremely important. Long-time customers should not have to deal with repeated billing mistakes and rude behavior. With untrained staff and poor customer interaction, Cherians' reputation may suffer in the future.

I have come here occasionally for food items since it's so local and close and I recently learned of a very delicious and hard to find beer which is the best beer in Laos. My student from Vietnam told me about Beer Lao and how it was wonderful and I had to try it if I were ever in Vietnam or Laos. He said it was available at H Mart in Colorado but I searched on Google for any place in Georgia that might have it. After discovering it may be available in Johns Creek I began my search and called them. They were a distributor for Beerlao but said they had none in stock so I asked them how long it would take to get if I wanted to order some. He said 1 week. I called them a week later to see if they had any in stock and they told me no so I said that is not acceptable so I continued my search. Enter Tote A Poke and Padma to the rescue. After inquiring if she might be able to acquire Beerlao she went to work and got me two six packs in 2 days! I must give Padma a high five and look forward to making Tote N Poke in Buford my go to for hard to find brewskies and will support them as much as I can. I hear they are working on getting licensed to have a kitchen as they are trying to serve breakfast so look forward to that soon! 5 super stars for Tote A Poke and two thumbs up! Thank you!
