Location and Parking Perc has a few locations, I have been to the location in Tucker, I am currently writing this review while at the East Lake location, which is located at the intersection of Hosea Williams Drive and Second Ave. There are a few spaces to park on the street but there is also a parking lot with plenty of free spaces. Venue and Atmosphere From the first time I stepped in to Perc, they had me. From the bright colors of the coffee bags, to the airiness of the space and the great playlist (think Snoh Aalegra, Thee Sacred Souls, and Cleo Sol). At the East Lake location there is plenty of seating inside, and also outside seating, which I opted for both times that I came, gotta enjoy this good weather right? Food and drinks I had the same thing both days, the Good Times Latte with a little extra syrup and the Crunch Wrap. I am not being dramatic when I say that the Crunch Wrap is hands down one of the BEST breakfast items I've had at any coffee shop I've been to. That probably sounds like hyperbole, but at one point I was going to a new coffee shop every week, so I promise it's not. It's eggs, cheese, hash browns, your choice of sausage or bacon (can't go wrong with either), and their special Perc sauce wrapped into a tortilla and griddled to perfection, and from the first bite to the last perfection it is. The latte is made with their in house vanilla lavender syrup and it is just the perfect amount of sweetness that I like. Service Service is fast and friendly, and they will complement your outfit, so wear something cool. Verdict If coming back twice in a row isn't an indicator that I plan to be a regular here then I'm not sure what is lol. Come here for the coffee and food, stay for the vibes. I know I will! Until next time!

The overall vibe of the coffee shop felt very intimate and community based. I loved all of the extra spots filled with community activities, and community made art or jewelry that was for sale in the shop. There was a large indoor area as well as a quaint outdoor patio that I can see myself enjoying during summer months. As for the coffee and service it was great. I tried the February specialty coffee (I can't remember the name at this moment) but it was really good and came out in no time at all. This spot is pretty quiet so it's perfect for working, meeting with friends or a cute coffee date.

It's frustrating enough that they now close so early, but we came in around 4:50pm a couple weeks ago (they close at 5). The barista said sorry but the espresso machine was already washed and shut down. The one thing you should make available at all times while open at a coffee shop is COFFEE. It only takes a few minutes to clean an espresso machine. So dumb. Happy the Bellwood within Plants & Coffee is staying put! Much better attitude, service, and coffee. Joe's has seemingly become too cool for school. :(

Traffic was pretty heavy that morning, and when I finally pulled up, I didn't see an open space right away. For a second, I thought about leaving, but I'm glad I didn't. Parking is actually pretty easy once you know the options--there's a garage nearby and street parking too. As soon as I walked in, I knew this was the kind of place I'd be excited to work from. I ordered a matcha latte and spotted the perfect seat by the window--it felt like it was waiting for me. The vibe was calm and creative, with just the right energy for working or people-watching along the BeltLine. The music was on point too, though it really depends on who's working--some days the playlist is an A+. My only real issue? The outlets. They were there, but during my first few visits, the ones at the booths didn't work. Maybe that's been fixed by now, but at the time it was the only thing that missed the mark. Still, this spot easily makes my list of favorite places to post up for a few hours. Between the matcha, the ambiance, and the overall vibe--it's an easy yes for me.
