Hired Sir Grout for a grouting job two months ago. Multiple sections of grout begin peeling off in…read morestrips, so we contact the owner Eddie to understand what happened. He claims he's never seen this issue before, despite many other reviews detailing the same problem. We consult our super who says that because the technician just put new grout on top of the old grout without removing it first, it's all going to fall out eventually. We convey to Eddie that we are aware that he cut corners, as well as our desire for a refund since we now have to hire someone reputable to repair the grout. He acknowledges that the job was not done properly and offers to redo. Having him come back for more shoddy work is not a solution. We reiterate our refund request, but are denied. A business that doesn't stand by its work. We'll be seeing Eddie in court.
