All of that sets them apart from the competition. We live 3 hours away and Carlos at Venicasa will always be out 1st choice for lighting and unique furniture items!

It arrived end of August 2026 -- 14 months later -- and it was defective. The dates kept moving: October 2025. Then November. Then December. Every excuse in the world was mentioned . Then "it's here" in January 2026. It was not. Communication was inconsistent and unreliable the entire time. When the unit finally showed up, a significant defect was not disclosed. The safe was wrapped, dropped in my garage, and left there. I was not told about the defect for two weeks. It has now sat blocking my garage for about six weeks. A defective $33,500 safe should never have been shipped. If it was, it should have been taken back the same day -- not wrapped and abandoned in a customer's garage. Venicasa factory in china ( not Italy) had no quality control shipping a visually defective safe , Venicasa has no quality control in the US to check if the 800 pounds piece they are shipping has a defect . Read their website, then read what they said when it went wrong. Venicasa markets itself as Italian / European luxury: "Italian craftsmanship," "Italian furniture," "European designer brands," "hand-selected pieces from the best Italian and European designers." That is the story they sell so you will prepay five figures. When this order collapsed, the explanation was not "Italian atelier." It was a Chinese supplier. They charged me $33,500, missed by more than a year, delivered a defective unit, left it blocking my garage -- then treated the factory in China as my problem. They never put that origin on the sales pitch. They put Italy on the website. China came out when they needed an excuse. When I asked to unwind the purchase after 14 months of broken promises, the story changed again. First it was no refunds. Then it became a 25% restocking fee. Restocking what? A product they admit is defective and that they left in a customer's garage? Their "solution" after a year and a half: place another order they will not guarantee for another 90 days. I did not order from a factory in China. I ordered from Venicasa. Blaming the supplier does not return my money, clear my garage, or undo 14 months of delay. I have bought furniture, art, and special-order pieces for 25 years. I have never left a bad review. I have never had a problem like this. I have never been treated this way. If you are considering a large prepaid order from this seller: * Do not confuse the Italian branding on the website with where your piece is actually coming from * Do not rely on verbal delivery dates * Do not assume a defect will be disclosed on arrival * Do not assume a refund exists when they miss by a year * Expect the policy to change when you ask for your money back * Expect the factory in China to become the excuse after you have already paid This was long, expensive, and disruptive to my household. I would not do business with them again. We are pursuing legal options. Carlos: you do not get to sell "Italian luxury," deliver late and defective from a supplier you later admit is Chinese, change the story a dozen times, and leave it in my garage, and then try to charge a restocking fee and you still many months from delivering the safe. I ordered in 2025 and you are hoping to deliver in 2027...please stay away for your own sanity you do not need this in your life...
