I can't say enough good things about our experience with Pontevedra Marble and Granite Solutions. This is a one-stop business for your marble or granite. They are not too big, or too small. We picked out our material from their on-site warehouse and had it installed in a matter of days. Our job was done quickly, professionally and with special attention to detail. Administration, staff, fabricators, and installers were pleasant and very good at what they do. All of this at a price that made us very happy. Now, our property was a challenge. We live in an upscale condo/hotel in downtown Miami (Brickell). Our unit is on an upper floor with difficult access and a busy loading dock that must be reserved and with no real ability to park a work truck. Needless to say, it is a pain for businesses and workers that must come to our building. We added a Winebar that required separate pieces and cuts to fit the installation. It was completed perfectly. We also had a blue stain in our white marble in our powder room (from the previous owner). You know, that blue stuff people put in their toilet to make the water pretty. Well, it leaked out and soaked into the pores of the beautiful white marble. Pontevedra was able to remove the stain 100%. We called several fabricators and are so happy that we found Pontevedra. read more

I found Pontevedra on Yelp. We visited their showroom and were pleasantly welcomed. Angel was very attentive and answered all our questions. They have a great selection of materials and colors. Their prices are very competitive, too. We placed the order for a granite countertop. The owner, Jose, came to do the final measurements himself a few days later. They arrived to demolish a couple of days after that. They arrived the following week to install. They wanted to install it a few days earlier, but I was unavailable. The final product looks amazing. Do yourself a favor and HIRE PONTEVEDRA. 1000 Stars! Extremely professional, fairly priced and do precision detail work that I was highly impressed with (and I'm not the easiest perfectionist to please). They did roughly 100sf of granite countertop (3/4" thick with a mitered edge 1.5"strip all around). The cuts were absolutely perfect . Specially the cut for our hidden outlet which was a custom, very precise, very delicate job and they executed flawlessly (see pictures below). They are booked up a few months in advanced but are very well worth the wait. Showed up on time every scheduled appointment. Lydia and Don Pepe are very communicative and friendly. I called this business to see if they could help me with a relatively small project (for them). I needed 2 end table tops. The person who answered the phone was knowledgeable and helpful. I went directly over, she helped me find a beautiful remnant and took the order efficiently. It was during Thanksgiving week and I was only in town for a few days. Run away as fast as you can. In more than ten years of remodeling projects, Pontevedra was the worst, causing us weeks of delay, extra costs and heartache. Two major errors--first cutting the countertop two feet short and having to start over, then carving a hole the wrong size for the cooktop--left us up the creek. This people have a good selection of the countertops and they did a good job as far as installing them in my bathroom but their cabinet work was subpar. I ordered the bathroom cabinet with a number of drawers and after they installed them 2 of them did not open. When we called the office they say that those where not included and after months of back and forth we had to pay extra for the 2 drawers which were cheap and did not even match. I do not recommend anybody to do the cabinets with them. read more
