Skiing at Jay's was an experience. The groomers were all pretty rough, with barely any parts actually groomed. Did not enjoy any of them at all. The top half of the mountain was all just a tiny powder on top of ice . The ice gets shaved throughout the day to build up the powder that then gets slapped into something akin to moguls throughout the slopes. Talking to people on the lifts made it very clear that the focus of skiing here is on the glades and not the groomers. Unfortunately my lack of experience made it rather tough to enjoy that. It also wasn't until midday on our second day that we finally discovered some more beginner friendly glades. We ended up being able to enjoy the moons and the bushwacker path. The layout of the lodge is also strange. It feels cramped and crowded even though there werent too many people there. All the lifts feel far too slow as well. A wind cover at the least would be highly appreciated considering how long the ride up is. The misc Ramen truck is a highlight. Delicious lunch option. Truely a gift. Would recommend. read more

Another great ski trip in the books! It was my first time to Jay Peak and it was wonderful. They had a nice variety of terrain, tons of on site lodging options and non skiing family friendly activities. Overall, the terrain was a little more advanced but had a few short trails for beginners. Several long blue runs and a few groomed black runs in addition to many more difficult mogul black runs. Lots of glades areas if that is your cup of tea. The resort was big enough that you had plenty to explore for a few days and also if you went with a group it wasn't so huge that it was impossible to meet up or find friends if you took an accidental detour. We opted for a package and it was reasonable. We chose to stay at the golf cottages which were perfect for our group, and could get around the resort with their shuttle system. There was a movie theater, bowling alley, climbing wall, mini golf as well as general store, bars and restaurants on site. If you buy a package some of the activities might be included in your price. If you want to eat off site there are a few restaurants about 15 minutes away. It was nice that they had so many things to do because this resort is in a pretty remote area and there isn't a ton around in the near vicinity. read more

Review for the the skiing, did not stay at the resort. We went in with high expectations and the snow conditions really let us down. We were ready to leave early as there was nary a groom mark to be seen between the thick clumps of powder and patches of ice. What saved the ski trip was discovering and trying the beginner/intermediate glades. If the snow conditions were better, the trails were groomed, and it was less busy, I'm sure we would have enjoyed the trails, but most of the mountain was a disappointment with the degree of effort needed to just stay upright and not crash into another skier fully taking away the enjoyment of skiing. Would not recommend: Going on weekends/holidays/school break week. Would recommend (for fellow skiers that aren't used to glades): start with Kokomo and venture into the trees, then move on to Bushwhacker and the Moons (both accessible from Metro Quad). The lodge was jam packed at all times with long cafeteria tables close together and bag hooks against the wall that made it awkward trying to get to your stuff. The ramen hut Miso Hungry was solid, highly recommend. Overall, not rushing to make the drive again any time soon but would maybe try again on a less busy week. read more

Our group spent a week skiing Jay. We had an excellent mountain tour the first day. We had blue skies and sun all week. Snow conditions were very good. Nice groomers and glades to ski. We stayed on the stateside in the lodge which could use an update. The shuttle runs frequently between stateside & tram side. A good week of skiing and I would recommend to folks who live closer to visit. They usually have the best snow. All the meals, we had at Jay were delicious. We didn't hit the water park. read more

This was my first time at Jay peak and I definitely would want to return not on opening day. It was definitely chaotic as there really was only one working lift for most of the day. Wish I could of rated it higher, but this trip left a little to be desired. The skiing was great, even thought the weather played a factor. The food was worse then many other ski resorts I've been to. The waitstaff and bartenders were great. The worst of it all was the surrounding area had some kind of electrical issue so they had to shut half the mountain down at noon through till almost 6pm. This took out the whole tram side of the mountain, lifts, food, water park, everything including our room. read more

Came here on vacation over the holidays. Every single day we encountered a wind hold. That meant all of the lifts on the main side if the mountain were closed. The staff was rude, rooms were falling apart, and crowd was weird. Also one of the male staff members was caught snooping around my daughter's room. I complained to staff and they gave me the finger and pretended not to speak English. Never go here. read more

The room was okay but the staff need training on customer service. Very short to answer, cutting you off when you're trying to ask a question and seem like they are bothered when you approach them. Security was nice, though. Also, the parking lot is very, very dark. No lights. HUGE safety issue, especially if you're arriving late in the evening or leaving early in the morning. Parents - when you are allowing your kids to run, jump, and scream in the halls, remember there are other guests there too that necessarily don't want to hear all of that. Everyone deserves to rest when they are in their rooms. Be considerate and teach your children manners rather just trying to be their buddy. read more

Jay Peak is one of the showcases for New England. The 400" annual snowfalls compare in depth to western resorts. It has challenging terrain and steeps. Superb glades. Its waterpark is an ideal draw for a destination resort. And despite its recent legal challenges, it has emerged with a new owner that acquired an amazing infrastructure, superb staff, and an assiduous two-country clientele that is passionate about the resort. Not to say that it is a year-round family place. We've been to Jay numerous times including a multi day stay. Each time, we've enjoyed ourselves immensely as a family. It's a nice resort for skiers and snowboarders. There was a decent amount of snowfall when we went (December) and they also make some of their own snow. The snow was nice and powdery when we went (though there were a few icy spots, but temps were in the negatives so that's to be expected). Most of the trails were pretty wide and everyone was very mindful of the people in front of them when going down the mountain. They have a good amount of blues and greens for those that are just learning the sport. They also have some fun trails that cut through the trees for those that are more adventurous. On-site staff members were all really friendly and made us feel like family or long lost friends. All smiles and we all felt very welcomed at the resort. One of the staff members even gave us a lift over to stateside when he saw my family and I waiting for the shuttle in below 0 degree temperatures. That's what I call amazing service! Unfortunately, I did not get his name but we definitely appreciated his kind gesture. Jay's Peak also has an app that can track your runs and will give you up-to-date info on which trails and lifts are open. It was pretty accurate and I like that it can give you a replay of your movement down the mountain. All lifts were open on one of the days we were there so we got in a decent amount of runs all over the mountain. The waterpark is small, but can provide you with a few hours of entertainment after the lifts close. The park consists mainly of a lazy river, some water slides, a hot springs area (hot tubs), and a pool area with a rock climbing wall. There was also a toddler/young kids area with smaller slides and play structures. The hot tub was nice after a day of skiing/snowboarding, but it gets really crowded as it's rather small. We stayed at Tram Haus, which has has underground tunnel that will bring you to Hotel Jay and the Waterpark. Highly recommend staying at either of these hotels if you plan on utilizing the water park as you can go to the water park and back without stepping foot outside in the cold weather. The lodging was decent- included a nice electric fireplace, flat screen tv, dining table, and a small kitchenette with two electric stove burners. Each room also came with guest lockers to store your ski/board gear in so that it doesn't take up space in your room. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely like to go back. read more

So many things wrong with this establishment. - the grounds both indoor and outdoor are not maintained. The pathways were not treated during snow which made them extremely dangerous to walk on. - the inside was not maintained. Mushy carpeting that should have and could have been washed and replaced daily. - worst part was the staffs lack of accomodation. Every time someone was approached to request help, the response we got wash harsh and rigid, usually sending us off to another department and not taking responsibility for anything. That said, I'm a very compassionate person who gives others the benefit of the doubt but this wasn't an isolated incident but every staff from restaurant workers to front desk to water park staff. I'm wondering if they're not treated well by the establishment. All in all I will NEVER stay there again. Overpriced for poor service. read more

We were catfished on our room. It looked much better in pictures than in person. Many features of the room were broken or dirty. The water park was fun but is showing a lot of wear and tear. Needs a refurbishment. Staff are standoffish. Not very welcoming, sassy towards guests at times. Would never return. I don't think they have any intention of making improvements. I booked a room at the trams house and did not realize the checking time is 7pm. imagine paying 500.00 for a room with your family and the 500.00 is from 7pm. never heard of this. this is such robbery by jaypeak. charging this amount and check in is at 7pm. I have been here three times in the past three years, so I think I'm ready for a review. First off, my overall great is that I really really like Jay Peak, and will probably go back. But first and foremost, this is a ski resort, and that is where I have the most criticisms. I've been there three times, once at New Years, once in early January, once in February. I know they can't control the weather. But I think some of the other resorts further south do better with the snowmaking and grooming. When I was there over New Year's, and the snow was light and temps warm, I looked at Killington and Snow where 50+ trails were open, big sections of the mountain all open. At jay, just a small slice, maybe 10-20 trails were open. Also, it's just not a great beginner's mountain. There are a few slow beginner lifts but to go up high and get the views, there are just a few blue runs to get down, and they tend to be skied off (by all the intermediate skiers being forced down them) and iced off by the very high winds (more on that to come) even in good weather. The two base setup can be confusing, and there are no mid mountain lifts, which makes for crowds despite this being a very remote spot. Often the lifts are shut down too, especially on the tram side, due to topography and wind. I have never been to another mountain with so frequent wind holds. I love the look of the tram. I've been to Jay three times, and I've only been on the tram ONCE. One ride. It is usually closed due to wind hold or terrain not open or some other reason (just not open midweek because maybe too expensive to run?). The last time I was there EVERY lift on the tramside was closed on a busy weekend - so we were staying on the tramside, and couldn't ski on the tramside. Huge crowds at Stateside. Just not ideal. I know they get a TON of snow, but the winds and other issues with flow mitigate this... the main big lift on the stateside is also not high speed, so it is really lacking in a lot of ways, I have to be honest. I know Jay is legendary for it's tree skiing, and there is definitely good tree skiing. The snow in the trees is probably better protected from those crazy winds that shut down the tramside lifts what seems like every other day. Ok, so now for the good. It's a great resort for families. LOTS to do other than skiing. Several restaurants, shops, movie theatre, climbing gym, aracade, skating rink, am I forgetting anything.... Oh yes, the waterpark. This is a really great waterpark. Huge. Tons to do, lots of slides, areas for the little kids, friendly staff. Very good value. Kids could spend hours there, and a nice bar for the adults and decent food all around the resort - nothing amazing, but all the food is above average in my opinion. The town is dead. There really isn't a town. You come to this place for the resort, and there is plenty to do there. I wish they had a section that allowed pets, because my dog loves going on ski trips, and would be great to bring him along. No pets allowed anywhere at Jay. Last time I went, it was for a daughter's hockey tournament, so we were very busy for that. But we still skied. What I can say about the hockey tournaments is that they felt a little rushed... all games started 20-30 minutes early, which is weird, and some of the referees really rushed them through - calling very few penalties, barely blowing the whistle, and forcing a running clock as soon as one team had a lead of more than a few goals. To go all that way and feel rushed through games is not a great experience. But we will probably go back. I really hope we can go another time when the skiing is prime, and the lifts are all functional, etc. But really we'll go back for the activities ancillary to skiing - the waterpark, the rock climbing, the skating rink, etc etc. It's a great place for a family. read more

Customer service is HORRIBLE. Not trained properly and don't give a damn about the customer. We booked a 6 person slopeside condo for 3 nights, which requires you to purchase either day pass lift tickets or water park passes, for every person on the reservation, for each day of your stay after check in (None negotiable). We asked if we could adjust the lift tickets to include the day of check in instead of the last day of our stay, they said no. We asked about lift tickets for day of check in and they said you can add that on for additional $45/pp. When I asked to buy lift tickets for day of check in for 2 of 6 guests, they said no....What they neglected to inform me was the $45/pp must be applied to EVERY guest on the reservation (Again non negotiable). They think it's reasonable for the customer to buy lift tickets for people who are not even skiing??? For the $ we spent on a slopeside condo I'd expect them to honor the $45/pp price for the people in the group who are planning to ski on the day of check in. After all it is a PER PERSON COST....The resort is very expensive and very unaccommodating. Will certainly not book a family ski vacation here again. read more

We held a 3 day family reunion here last week (July 2025) at Hotel Jay with folks coming in from all parts of the country, and it worked out so well. We were a group of 22, about half of which were kids ranging from ages 1-16. Since it was a group reservation, we worked with Caleb and Annie, and they were very helpful and got us all setup correctly. They also helped me pre-order a large cake through their catering service. The lobby staff are also very friendly and very helpful from the moment you arrive and through your entire visit. The Pump House was perfect entertainment for the kids. We spent 5-6 hours there two days in a row and they were very happy. The outside pool was a bonus as well, and welcome area for those who wanted to be outside, and was heated just right. At night, we took advantage of one of the fire pits, next to the pool, which was really fun and able to accommodate our full group. We took a tram ride, which was beautiful as well and I recommend. If we had planned a longer trip, it would have been fun to check out the golf course, rock climbing area and movie theater. During the summer, not all of the restaurants are open, but we had everything we needed. The open restaurants (The Foundry and the Clubhouse Grill) were very accommodating for our large group. We split up into two groups and had the kids sit at one and the grownups at another. There is also a Pizza restaurant on site, which we did not visit, but is another option open during summer. They did also offer a catering option that can be pre-planned, but we chose not to go that route and it was just fine. I would caution that the restaurants and shops close early (9pm), so if you are looking to have a few drinks into the evening, plan ahead. There is a general store called Provisions outside of the hotel, as well. They served sandwiches at a deli counter and have breakfast items, coffee, sundries and all the basic necessities. They also sell Jay Peak merchandise and gifts. There is also a swim shop inside the hotel where the entrance to the Pump House is if you need anything swim related. The laundry facilities were really great as well, with laundry rooms on most floors, and up to 5 washers and 5 dryers in each laundry room. There are change machines for quarters, but you need to come prepared with $1's and $5's to get change from them. There were a few problems with the air conditioning in the rooms when we first arrived, but the staff were on it and fixed it very quickly. One room continued to have AC issues, but they were offered a change of rooms or fans (up to them). It was a really wonderful experience and we are very grateful to the staff at Hotel Jay for helping us have a great time. read more

Horrible customer service, they'll charge you a $300 hotel damage fee for "noise complaint" when we were never in our room, or in bed by 9. They make you sign your life away so they can charge you legally. be weary of this place- while the rink, water park and land are beautiful, the front desk, and just about everyone are SO rude. We LOVED our stay at Jay Peak Resort! We stayed at the main hotel (Jay Hotel). The rooms were very modern and included a mini kitchenette and fireplace. There was a massive tub for our standard room and the beds were unbelievably comfy. The best part about Jay Peak Resort though are the amenities. This resort truly is a destination worth visiting year-round. In the winter, it's a popular spot for all the snow sports, but there's plenty to do in the summer (when we visited) too! They have a golf course, an arcade, several pools (including a hot tub), and the most impressive amenity of all-- AN INDOOR WATERPARK. The kid in me was ecstatic. We were at Jay Peak for a wedding, so we had minimal time to explore, but I made sure we prioritized the indoor waterpark. You have to put a deposit down to use the lockers, but if you return your key within the specified timeframe, you'll get your deposit back! We only had about an hour, but it was plenty of time to go up and down the water slides several times. I was bummed that the lazy river was closed. There were kid-friendly areas, a surfing station and pool basketball too. We also took advantage of the sky tram to get to the Peak. It was misty and dreary the day we went, but I can imagine the views would be nice on a clear day! In August, it was green as far as the eye can see. My school does a ski trip here every year and I finally went this year despite not being a skier. We stayed in the Timberline cottages. They were very nice and very clean. I got locked out on the balcony and security came as soon as I called to come rescue me. The shuttle was easy to use to get around the resort. The tram super cool and the viewing area at the top was a must see. Only complaint is how much they pack the tram but the line to get on is still so long. Everyone that went skiing or snowboarding had a great time. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and answered all of my question. Handful of good restaurants around the resort. read more

Jay Peak ski patrol is excellent!! My wife injured her leg and could not make it down the mountain. Julie and Adam rescued my wife and methodically, but gently brought her to safety. Julie was in charge of first aid while Adam manuevered the sled. Julie thoroughly examined my wife's leg both at the scene of the accident as well as in the ski patrol office. She clearly cared for my wife and did this through both examination and conversation. We think the world of Julie, and also give a shout out to Adam! read more

Fantastic ski resort. Maybe the best snow in New England, and lots to do outside of skiing for the kids, including a move theater, skating ring, water park and climbing gym with an arcade. There isn't much of a town nearby, but there are plenty of Jay owned establishments. If you state on a resort property there is a shuttle that picks you up right in front of your lodging and arrives in a few minutes. The big negatives is it's a longer drive from NYC and Boston, not much of a town as it's very remote, and there isn't a grocery store nearby (the provisions store is like a 7-11). read more

Had a great time here recently with family and friends. We stayed at an air bnb on the mountain and I don't know if I'll ever go back to another place that's not ski-and-ride when skiing. It's super convenient and if you come mid-week like us (not a holiday week) it's pretty empty. Unlike the other big mountains in VT with comparable vertical terrain, you do not wait to ski. The Tram is also ridiculously fast climbing several thousand feet in just 6 minutes. You get a rewarding view (if it's a clear day) from the top and tons of great ski time down to the bottom. Because it's often colder at Jay (we spent a few days in the negative), the skiing in the winter is not for the faint of heart. However, if you are willing to brave the cold, there is a ton of challenging, excellent terrain while the conditions are often better in my experience because the cold keeps the snow there in addition to maybe more natural snow fall accumulation. They are known for their glade trails. There are also trails for beginners here and my 4 year old had an excellent snowboard lesson. It's cool that they have leveled and sequenced routes for the little ones with the ski and ride school and that they have an indoor practice area to take a break from the cold. I would recommend Jay to families that are new to skiing in addition to experienced families. We did a few days at the water park, which was one of the reasons we opted for Jay over other resorts. It's not cheap and there aren't as many options for toddlers at the water park but we nevertheless had fun. We also ate at the fancy restaurant on site (Alice's table) and had a pretty good meal and picked up some hot chocolate at the on-site general store afterwards. The downside of coming mid-week is that the plethora of cool things to do here is not offered. I would love to come back to try ice skating, rock climbing, watch a concert, and go the theater on site after a good day of skiing. Jay has all of the options for things to do without the pretentious of the big resorts out West. The people are super friendly and helpful here. It's worth the drive in my opinion. Some potentially helpful info from our stay: Water park- $43 for the day, note on less busy mid-week days it doesn't open until 2. It's $35 for kids and under 3 is free. Half day lift tickets (pm only) are $72 PM and pricing for other tickets is variable. You'll save if you buy online and in advance and multiple days at a time for adult tickets. It's not cheap, but then again, skiing is not a cheap sport. Ski school extension for the little ones- $175-8:45-11:45 half day/$225- full day additional $30 for rental and ski school is only offered Friday -Monday. I got a tune up for my skis on site (waxed and edged) for around $35 and the turnaround time was super rapid. Parking at both base lodges was easy and quick. read more

My friends and I came up here for the long weekend and it was a lot of fun. We stayed about 15 minutes from the resort. We spent one day at the water park. It was kinda expensive at $43/person, but if you spend the whole day there (10am - 8pm) it's worth it. They have a bar and a snack bar in the water park. The next day we went skiing, when it wasn't negative temperatures. Their full day full mountain price is $96 and the half day price is $76. They also have a lower mountain pass for less experienced skiers and snowboarders. The view from the top of the mountain was really cool and it was a fun day of skiing. I was not that much of a fan of the restaurants and bars they had at the resort. Between the water park, ice rink and the mountain there is a lot to do up here for a good weekend trip. read more

We had a wonderful long weekend at Jay Peak. We stayed at Slopeside Condos, unit 1008. We were right on the Queens Highway Trail. Views were splendid. The rooms were comfortable and bright. Bedding and linens, comfortable as well. Check in with Tyler was flawless. He made our trip special. The conditions were variable but when good, they were great. Lifts were running with little to no lines but Metro Quad stopped a lot and Sunday, 8 AM opening did not happen. They were short staffed so we waited 15 minutes or so. My partner took the tram up and skied a blissfilled morning. I am an intermediate boarder and moved to skiing so I stayed low for ski days. Coffee is abysmal at both places. The Provisions Store is well stocked. We enjoyed the fire pits. This is a must ski stop every winter season. read more

Hotel was nice but came in with one of my tires on my car losing air so asked them for assistance. They assured me security could pump it up no problem so "go enjoy your stay" and even called and security confirmed it. Then when I went to leave my tire was FLAT and then security said their pump walked off months ago and maintenance can't pump it up either. So instead of being slightly inconvenienced to pump it up once a day. I now had to pay and extra $200 to get a tow from the local auto garage. read more

My 700th review and 1st as Yelp Elite '18. Woo! Stayed here the week after Christmas, Tuesday-Friday. Hubby bought a package through their website. We stayed at The (New) Stateside and Baselodge Hotel, which was the most affordable option, though still more expensive than what we're used to paying when we go to VT. It took us around 7 - 7 1/2 hours from Central Jersey as we stopped and the car died after getting gas. Oops! Fortunately we had a portable jump starter, which is awesome! Y'all should have one in your car. Anyway, we arrived at night and were able to find the hotel, pull up in front, and get our keys. We were also able to load all our stuff into a luggage cart and bring it upstairs. Parking lot was packed! They offer a shuttle service around the resort, to the condos, cottages, and other hotels. I believe that it runs every 10 minutes until 11:30PM. Brr! It was super cold this week. On Wednesday, we braved the frigid temperatures and headed to the slopes. After 3 years of a snowboarding hiatus, I was very nervous. I went on the Taxi Quad lift and survived my first (and only) run of the day. The trail was clear and quiet, not to mention lovely. I need to put on my big girl snowboarding pants and just ride. The next day only a few of the lifts were running as it was super windy and cold. We didn't snowboard, but we were able to get vouchers with a refund for 2 tickets that expire next December. Sweet! This was a very family friendly resort. The kiddos were all over the place as it got closer to the weekend. There are other things to do on the mountain besides skiing or snowboarding. Next time I really want to go to the Clips and Reels for some rock climbing and movie watching! Definitely check out your website to plan your visit. It's very helpful. read more

Five stars alone for their awesome treatment of military. Our whole family of seven skied for free and rented gear at a 50% discount. Less than $100 for all of us to ski for the day when anywhere else would've set us back nearly a grand. To boot, we got season passes for Jay Peak and Burke! That's freaking awesome. Unfortunately, the weather drove us away after only a brief time, so I didn't get to ski much at all. But it looked like a decent collection of runs, with primarily greens at the base and blues and blacks up top. This configuration provided ease for teaching our newcomers how to stay upright. The lodge seemed pretty small and lackluster, not the kind that's a super appealing alternative to slope activities at any time other than when the weather drives you inside. Came here for one night to take kids to Waterpark. Hotel room was nice with kitchenette and fireplace. Kids loved Waterpark even though lazy River was closed. Limited food options at resort during summer. There's a nice little store with souvenirs and food. Clubhouse grille was hit or miss. Ramen place was good. Tram rides were $20/adult and $15/kid so we passed on that. Got the room and Waterpark package which was a better deal than buying separately. Jay Gorge nearby was fun for the kids. I went to JP Resort for a wedding, although during off-season (winter), the resort held three weddings and two hockey tournaments over the weekend. They remained under staffed in the lobby, housekeeping, restaurants, etc. The Tram Haus Hotel, tunnel, and buildings headed toward the main Jay (newer hotel/lobby) are old, grungy and smell like the 1980's bomb shelter. Our room was in the Tram Haus building, and ladybugs constantly entered the room through the space between the the balcony door's weather stripping while closed. The lobby staff said that was normal. Ladybugs might be normal or cute in a garden but not in a hotel room for $200/night! On the positive side, The Foundry Restaurant was amazing and Maggie the waitress provided outstanding service! We went in April of 2022. The theme for the stay was "it's closed". Food: There was only one restaurant open at a time. You cannot even get coffee before 8AM which is pretty crazy for a hotel this size. Attractions: The water park was pretty good but the lazy river was closed due to staffing issues. The water park is only open from 4-8PM which is a very short window. Skiing is open from 8AM-4PM which felt like decent hours. The arcade is also only open from 4-8PM - I was hoping for more hours here. Parking: Very close to the hotel and very convenient. Overall it was decent but some areas to improve. I would probably come back again. read more

Wow. This is pretty much my happy place, no matter the season. But something is badly amiss at Jay Peak. The last few years, even at the peak of ski season, it felt like more stuff was closed than open. This year, golf season, there's ONE restaurant open and Provisions is closed at 2 even though it's advertised as being open til 5. (Somewhere on this mountain there's a guy with a computer who could theoretically update the online info, right?) Our condo with full kitchen is missing some pretty key stuff (cutting board, pots and pans, pillows for the foldout bed) which is just kind of sad. The skiing is amazing and so is the golf, and the people who are working here are pleasant and professional but it's definitely feeling like a skeleton crew. We will be back for sure but, as my kids say, this place was better when the criminals were in charge. read more

Family friendly, deals available online on their website. I have coming here since 2012 and is definitely one of the best places in the Northeast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Instructors are patient and knowledgeable. There even helped me fix my personal snowboard when a binding broke for free. With the Jay cloud you also get plenty of snow even when others may not. I've never had a bad time here. Highly recommended. read more

This is not an average winter resort for snowboarding. This resort is known for glades. The glades difficulty are usually black and double black. And the skills that you need to handle them must be a superb expert because the trees are usually close to each other giving very short time to react and to swerve. This place has plenty of glades. The only disappointment of this place is the gondola. It takes approx. 45 mins of wait time and 15 mins of ride to the summit. I think the gondola speed is too slow and they could have put some lifts to the summit instead so that there are more than one way to get to the summit of the mountain. In terms of the snowboarding trails, they are pretty much similar to the trails found at other Vermont level resort: similar width, similar length of drop, similar level definition, etc. However, I have never seen other Vermont resorts with the same number of glades as this one. And the glades are pretty long giving you tons of fun time. This is a definitely must coming place to tackle and to get superb at glades! read more
