So, I just moved to Yonkers from Upstate. Being busy with two babies under two and a full time job,…read moreI haven't been able to find a dental "home" yet. So when my tooth starting really bothering me on a Sunday I was nervous. It was swelling up and was abscessed. I took some left over antibiotics out of desperation hoping it would help. It didn't. The next day, I called a dentist that told me to come in and "wait" and that I would be "waiting a long time" but to "just come in and wait". Well that sort of uncertainty when you're in pain from an abscessed tooth sounds like eternity. So let me get to Dr. Cohen at Sprain Brook Dental... He was great. I found them online. I called at 11:30am and by 12:15p I was sitting in his dental chair get x-rays done. He said the tooth had to come out and I agreed. He's a straight shooter, upfront kind of guy from what I could tell. He gave me the "gas" (nitrous oxide)at no additional cost to help calm my nerves, and then he started numbing me up. Which that barely hurt at all. After that, I literally felt nothing. Actually, I felt good. Ha, go figure, I felt good while at the dentist getting a big molar pulled. He made sure to stitch me up. He gave me a better antibiotic to clear the infection and strict instructions on how to take them. I was a little sore after the Novocain wore off. Popped 3 Advil and pain was literally gone. I went back to work and went about my day like nothing happened. I'm going back next week to get the stitches taken out and do xrays of my mouth to see what he can do for me to make my smile nicer. I hope his cosmetic dentistry is as good. He said he does everything. And just a side note. The atmosphere is very laid back, A very old school dentist office with no bs or upselling from what I could tell from my one emergency appointment with him. I'm cancelling the appointment I had with a different dentist (the one I originally called but couldn't get a firm answer as to how long I would have to wait) on Thursday and will go to Dr. Cohen instead now. Everything happens for a reason. Thank you Dr. Cohen!

Dr. Siciliano was patient, kind and exhibited a level of expertise and care I thought was long gone in our country. I am so glad I was wrong. For those who are asking, yes there are a few extra steps (masks, distancing- while waiting to be seen) but this is to be expected. Do not hesitate if you are on the fence. The office and dental "work" areas are clean, they have air filtration devices and everyone around is protectively dressed (for everyone's safety). So....if you are looking for a dentist where people not only know what they are doing, but they enjoy what they are doing- pay a visit here and ask for Dr. Siciliano and her associates. You will not be disappointed. THANK YOU AGAIN DR. SICILIANO. See you guys in 6 months for my teeth cleaning!! Lol. Niecee

I was told they were short staffed is the reason no one called me to tell me they don't accept my insurance. Not my problem! No respect for my time. They shrugged it off. Dr. Castanaro's office was a complete-180 compared to my old dentist. He is very attentive every time I come for a cleaning and I am always seen as soon as I arrive. He uses the best and latest dental technology and a perk is that he is also a cool guy! His dental assistants also help him and are very nice and do the work right. Maureen & Stephanie at the front desk are gems and will always work with you to schedule an appointment at a time that works best for you and help in understanding insurance billing. They rock and are a pleasure to speak with. If you are looking for a new dental office, either for a preventative visit or for major dental care, look no further, THIS IS THE OFFICE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!

No cavities and no work needed. I had cracked a tooth prior which I knew about but didn't think it was serious. Well apparently it was and caused a small cavity. Dr Castanaro fixed my tooth up....despite me acting like a huge baby when he needed to numb me. He worked quickly and was gentle. Was funny and kept me entertained while he worked. I'd definitely recommend him.

After a negative experience with a different office I found Dr. Suh and his team. From my first experience I knew I had found my dentist, here's why. 1. Clean, modern office. 2. Straightforward billing- at the start of your appointment you're told what to expect as far as billing goes (no surprise bills in the mail!) 3. It doesn't feel like Dr. Suh and his team are selling you anything- after your cleaning, he comes in, does a thorough check, asks you questions if something looks off and will tell you if it's something that needs treatment right away or not. He will explain, answer questions and show you on the monitor in the exam room what you need to know. HUGE brownie points for that. As a new patient they were thorough in asking how comfortable I am with dentist visits- I'm an oddball who actually enjoys dentist appointments- rest assured they will make sure you're as comfortable as possible. The detail that goes in to each visit is much appreciated by this over thinker. You get glasses to protect your eyes from any flying bits during your appointment. There's a small monitor if there's a program you want to catch up on. During the recent pandemic, machines to keep air particles to a minimum (something like that) were brought in to give everyone peace of mind. I can't say enough good things about this Dr. Suh and his team and recommend anyone who asks me for a good dentist in lower Westchester.

I traveled all the way from the…read morecity to Westchester for this appointment--leaving my newborn daughter at home for the first time, which the office was fully aware of when I booked. When scheduling, I made it very clear that I would need nitrous due to dental anxiety. After arriving, I waited over an hour past my appointment time, only to finally be told by the receptionist--without any empathy--that I couldn't have nitrous because they had "used the last of the oxygen." This is not a small oversight. For patients with anxiety, this kind of preparation and communication is essential. To wait that long, after traveling and arranging childcare for a newborn, only to be dismissed so casually is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. If you experience dental anxiety and rely on accommodations like nitrous, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This office does not seem equipped to handle those needs with the care or consideration they require.

The moment I got in touch with this establishment I knew I had found the right place. Isaac, the business manager, is so nice and welcoming and will take the time to make you feel like a priority even if it's your very first visit. Doctor Kanganis and every member of her team are just as kind and knowledgable and will make even the most fearful patients immediately feel at ease! I knew I needed an extensive amount of work done but was too overwhelmed by the suggested treatment (and bills!) every other dentist had recently insisted I needed. Doctor Kanganis was the first Dentist who ever told me that I had options. I can't put into words how grateful I am to have found a Dentist who takes the time to put your feelings and concerns into consideration while treating you in the best way possible.
