I've never had such terrible service with a dental office. It's very difficult to get someone on…read morethe phone to ask questions. They do not respond via email either. The dental staff was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. When I asked for a copy of X-rays for a second opinion, I couldn't get anyone on the phone. I sent 2-3 emails, where I also received no response. Finally , they asked me to send a Hippa form, which I did within an hour. Still no response. When I threatened to report them to better business bureau, they said go ahead and said they are allowed 30 days. It's been over 2 weeks now. Previous dentists helped with the same request same day. In the meantime, I am not able to get my second opinion. Do not come to this place. I rarely give bad reviews. This is the 2nd bad review I've given in my life.

If done correctly I would have had an out of pocket charge of less than $25. Since they are in the plan the insurance company sends them the reimbursement check. Im still waiting for the dentist to remit me $72 I was overcharged. I must say if it wasnt for this incident I was ready to switch from my current dentist. I did find Dr Shih to be a good dentist and her assistants were very professional. Unfortunately, by having me pay out of pocket despite taking my insurance has made me rethink the change. After three months Im still waiting to be reimbursed. ( the insurance company confirmed she got their check)

No cavities and no work needed. I had cracked a tooth prior which I knew about but didn't think it was serious. Well apparently it was and caused a small cavity. When scheduling, I made it very clear that I would need nitrous due to dental anxiety. After arriving, I waited over an hour past my appointment time, only to finally be told by the receptionist--without any empathy--that I couldn't have nitrous because they had "used the last of the oxygen." This is not a small oversight. For patients with anxiety, this kind of preparation and communication is essential. To wait that long, after traveling and arranging childcare for a newborn, only to be dismissed so casually is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. If you experience dental anxiety and rely on accommodations like nitrous, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This office does not seem equipped to handle those needs with the care or consideration they require.
