The image shows the interior of a modern restaurant with a seating area that includes several tables and green chairs. The decor features black and white striped wall panels, a textured white wall with digital menu screens, and a wooden counter. The ceiling has exposed black ductwork and hanging spherical lights, some with green plant accents. The floor combines black marble-like tiles and patterned black-and-white tiles near the entrance, creating a sleek, contemporary atmosphere.

Indian street food. They have a wide range of items, dosa, vada pav, pav bhaji, pulav, pizza, other chat, and snacks. They also have Indo-Chinese dishes, lassi, falooda, and milkshakes. The vada pav and aloo sandwich were both good. The sandwich was the better of the two. Employees were friendly and helpful. It's a great space with ten tables and chairs inside. Parking is plentiful as they're located in a shopping area.

Dahi Poori - A white disposable plate contains several dahi puri, a popular Indian snack, topped with sev, chopped onions, and herbs. The puris are round and hollow, filled with yogurt and garnished with spices. The plate is placed on a marble-patterned table, with additional food items and condiments visible in the background.

The Vijayawada Chicken 65 Biryani was really good. It has great flavor, though the chicken quantity felt a bit less compared to the rice. Their salt & sweet lime soda was also nice and refreshing. On another visit, we tried both the veg and non-veg thalis. They were decent, not amazing, but good enough. The portions were huge. Honestly, they could reduce the biryani rice in the thalis and just offer refills to avoid food waste. My absolute favorite here is the juicy chicken mandi. I've tried mandi at a few places in the US, and this is one of the best I've had. The chicken is flavorful, the portion is great, and the rice is super aromatic. It comes with yogurt sauce, curry sauce, mayo, and veggies. It's only available on weekends, but it's definitely worth it. Overall, solid service and some standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the Mandi.

Lots of options, but wish the food was warmer. The food was okay, not the best Indian buffet I've had. It was good for $20, but probably would not crave it. Lots of seating inside, and they make fresh dosa. There's a free parking lot right in front of the restaurant.

The prices are the same or cheaper than other restaurants but the portions are bigger. The service is always good. You won't get better quality nor better value for your money. I do not like to give poor reviews to business, but Amber Indian Restaurant does deserve to be…read moregiven a review: 1) I ordered half of Tandoori Chicken which was undercooked (raw in the middle of the chicken pieces). If it was cooked in an authentic tandoor oven (900degF), it would have been cooked properly. This is not an authentic tandoor chicken and it should not be advertised as such. I had tandoor dishes in India and this dish does not resemble the real tandoor cooking; 2) I called the restaurant to give them my feedback about the Tandoor Chicken and get my refund. They refused to give my refund back on my credit card. I did not want to get the credit note from this company given my present experience. They found every excuse under the sun why they could not refund the money to my credit card. This is sharp practice which should not be allowed; 3) I spoke to one guy from the restaurant and he said that he will connect me to their manager to resolve this issue, then he put down the phone on me. When I rang couple of minutes back another guy said that their manager left for today. I could not check it but it was a lie. All in all my experience was very poor with this restaurant. This restaurant should not be allowed to trade from the point of view of food safety and their trading practices. I will be taking my experience to the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) and Indiana Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division (IAGCPD).

DISHONEST INDIAN…read more Paid for gift certificates that were valid through December 26 and purchased under written terms that specifically listed December 24 and December 25, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as holiday exclusions. Nothing stated or implied that an entire surrounding week would be treated as a holiday. Despite this, staff at Honest Indian Restaurant refused to honor the certificates on December 23, arbitrarily claiming the entire week was a holiday. That claim directly contradicts the written terms at purchase and improperly rewrites the conditions after payment was made. Treating the entire week as a holiday effectively renders paid gift certificates null and void while still valid, which is deceptive and unacceptable. This refusal was escalated to the manager, who upheld it. December 23 is not a holiday. Businesses do not get to invent exclusions after the fact to avoid honoring money already paid. After driving over an hour with my entire family, we were forced to leave without redeeming funds we had already purchased. I will not return and do not recommend this business. They are anything but Honest Indian. More like DISHONEST INDIAN.

If you're a meat-eater, going to an all vegetarian place might feel like you're going to have a limited food experience. Although here, it's quite the opposite. The food is quality, and the menu has so much variety. I dined in with meat eaters, and they didn't feel limited at all and enjoyed the food just as much as me. Firstly, the service was great. Food came out fast and everyone was friendly. They are happy to answer your questions and give more details on their food offerings. Now for the food, I have had a lot of dosas in my day and the Dabang Dosa was a new great find. It was stuffed with fresh sliced vegetables, served with sambar, coconut chutney, and tomato chutney. It was so crispy and airy, I could have eaten a whole dosa on my own. The Veg Hakka Noodles were flavorful. An unassuming dish that we all agreed is easy to crave. The grilled aloo veggie sandwich with cheese was stuffed with flavorful spiced potatoes, and they added cucumber and tomato, balancing out the textures and flavor well. The outside was not greasy and overly buttered too, which was nice to see, compared to others I've had in other places. The ras malai tiramisu is a combination of great desserts that can already stand-alone, but together, it was an indulgence. The cardamom was singing in it. There is much more to the menu I would like to try. They also have chaat, idli, uttapum, dosas, pulav, pizza, curries, other indo-Chinese dishes, pav bhaji, sandwiches, and drink options. I prefer the variety here over the other restaurant menus typically dominant in curries, breads, and rice.
