Because I am a larger size they could not find any bras that fit me that were Wireless. I do not wear underwire bras to protect my health. The sales person behind the counter who helped me was very kind and dug around in the back to bring me things to try on. At one point, I was wearing a bra that she thought would fit me based on the size that I told her I was, and I showed her how I was coming out all over the place and told her I needed a larger size. She excused herself and went and got someone else. And I am pretty sure this is the Owner or Manager and most likely the same cruel person I encountered years before. This person started to argue with me about how I could not have another size. And I said I needed a larger size and the first sales person looked at the other one asking permission if she can get me a larger size and then that one, the manager or whatever again tries to talk me out of it. It was as if I needed permission to go up to a larger size. This store is useless if you are in the larger size realm. I will never go back again and I look forward to finding a place where I can get an actual fitting like I did in New York years ago from a French bra shop, which was spot on and perfect the first time with many options.

Expect Lace has sizes that run up to 42J in store, but can easily order larger sizes as needed. Given the number of variables with bras (style + band + cup + color), it's hard for any store to keep every single option stocked, but Expect Lace does an excellent job of making sure they have enough to make things work. And if, say, you find the right bra but in the wrong color? They can order and ship the one you want to your house -- FOR FREE! Music to my ears. In addition, once you shop there, they keep a record of what you bought. So in my case, my file shows that I bought a certain bra in a specific size, but also notes what other stuff was working for me. I love this because it means I can just contact them and say, "I want that same thing but in purple," and they can make it happen. One thing to note (and the reason I knocked them down a star): It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find out what time this store is open. I checked Yelp, Google, and Instagram and they all gave me a different story. I called the number and no one answered, but the voicemail said to make an appointment, which I did. (And it's not just me -- another customer came in and had the same question while I was being helped.) Apparently they've just got a lot of stuff going on right now and limited staff so sometimes the hours need to flex, but knowing for sure when they were open would've gotten me there a lot sooner and being able to drop in during known open hours would've been easier for me than scheduling an appointment. ps. I was not even sure of my proper size anymore, and knew it was time to finally be fitted properly for a bra. I made an appointment online with Linda's Bra Salon. It took us one hour to get there, and it was totally worth it. My fitter, Lori, put me completely at ease. She was professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and funny. She made me feel very comfortable when she was measuring me and helping me trying on bras. She said that most women wear the wrong bra size, and I was most definitely one of them. She helped me try on a lot of bras, and found the perfect bra that would work with the new dresses. (I brought the dresses with me to the fitting so I could try them on with the bras). I ended up buying 5 bras. No hard sell. The bras are beautiful, they feel so comfortable, and I ended up wearing one of them out of the store. Prices are about what you would expect to pay for a good bra. They will even ship bras to you if you can't make it back to the store. They have an enormous selection of bras, even outside of the "mainstream" sizes. I really felt so good about this experience. I was treated with dignity, with compassion and with respect.
