After closely reviewing our security footage, no one on staff yelled or screamed. Staff DID ask SEVERAL times that the light up butt plug & other items be removed from our shop, a picture may be brought back in to help answer any questions. We have signs posted in 8 different spots in and outside the shop.Maribel ignored the request and became loud, argumentative and irrate. The gentleman returned the items to ca and was trying to be receptive while staff explained the rules. While he was outside Maribel WAS EXTREMELY invasive towards my staff. She took pictures of my staff and told her she would get her fired. Please keep in mind-Bringing used sex toys BACK INTO OUR SHOP is strictly prohibited. Today, After a lengthy conversation over the phone w/ Maribel, she wanted names and numbers and referenced AMAZON always giving out employees info. (Amazon excepts returns of adult products fyi...) While how you, Maribel run which ever business it is that you have I would hope that you understand my staff deals with unusual circumstances. Our shop prides itself on being knowledgeable with products and also state laws and limitations.While your perception of this customer service situation is RARE, I stand by my staff's decision.Our products are very personal, each situation is different. I hope this clears up any misconception your review may have caused to our loyal customers of 36 years.

I only spent a few minutes in the store, because frankly that was all it took for Liz to help me find exactly what I wanted! I appreciated that they let me know about their no return policy and offered to test the unit before I left. Excellent service from professional and informed associate.

Great store, it's my go to but I will never go back. I had an upsetting experience by the lady working there, she spoke down to me a few times during my visit. I was shocked and embarrassed. August 5th 2:45pm

As you can see from the owner's retaliatory response below this a business that prefers to get into a tit for tat with a customer, than apologize, resolve the issue and make it go away. I guess a professional and well documented practice that states the customer is always right is never used here. Whether I was right or wrong is not the issue. The issue is how I perceived I was treated. A business proves its worth by how they handle conflict or disagreements. BOYCOTT the Birds and Bees and do not buy online. A business that does not apologize or try to correct their mistakes does NOT deserve your hard earned dollars.
This store is an embarrassment to the entire business community of Glen Mills! My boyfriend and I came in Wed June 19th in the afternoon, and although we are frequent customers we were treated like filth. State law prohibits customers from bringing previously purchased items in to the store. We were not aware of that. The lady behind the counter yelled and screamed at my boyfriend for bringing two items in that we had questions about. She was mean and extremely condescending. He left the store with the items. I asked for an explanation and an apology for the way we were treated. She refused and continued to yell at me. I asked her for her name so I could report her to her manager. She refused. I asked her when her manager would be available so I could contact them later. She refused. No accountability so lousy customer service will continue. Don't sponsor this business! read more
