The last time I bought new bras was before Covid. As a plus size woman, bra buying is torture. Nothing I would buy online ever fit properly. I bought some pretty new dresses, and I could wear none of them because I did not have bras that would work with those dresses. I was not even sure of my proper size anymore, and knew it was time to finally be fitted properly for a bra. I made an appointment online with Linda's Bra Salon. It took us one hour to get there, and it was totally worth it. My fitter, Lori, put me completely at ease. She was professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and funny. She made me feel very comfortable when she was measuring me and helping me trying on bras. She said that most women wear the wrong bra size, and I was most definitely one of them. She helped me try on a lot of bras, and found the perfect bra that would work with the new dresses. (I brought the dresses with me to the fitting so I could try them on with the bras). I ended up buying 5 bras. No hard sell. The bras are beautiful, they feel so comfortable, and I ended up wearing one of them out of the store. Prices are about what you would expect to pay for a good bra. They will even ship bras to you if you can't make it back to the store. They have an enormous selection of bras, even outside of the "mainstream" sizes. I really felt so good about this experience. I was treated with dignity, with compassion and with respect. I don't think I can ever buy an ill fitting bra online again. read more

Driving back from Philly my husband saw Linda's Bra Salon.. and said-- You've been talking about getting new bras- go there, see what it's about. I look over as we drive by and said, ya, good idea.. I think I will- if you know us, this is not an odd conversation between us, because my hubby listens and remembers all the countless idiot details of my fly by conversations and mutterings, I'm a redhead, I mutter a lot. So Wednesday (my usual day of appointments) I took a beautiful drive down Rte 70 to Linda's. I love the store, it's comfortable and sweet looking. So first things first, wear pants or shorts, unless you wanna stand in the dressing room/fitting in your panties, ya I was wearing my everyday panties with a sundress and ill fitting bra,, sad times my friends, sad times. But Linda was super upbeat and my shyness was quickly erased. When she said she had exactly, what I needed. (Whispering between you and me- evidently I was wearing my bras too loose, go figure") hahaha. MOVING ON!!! I was measured and I can say I am a double digit, single letter bra gal! off she went to get me the most BEAUTIFUL bras I have ever seen, now mind you, I have 2 La Perla sets, that I bought many years ago, that I adore & treasure and only bring out..... when I wanna win the war if ya know what I mean (LOL). So the bras Linda brought me, are stunning and just made me feel so pretty and they were so very comfortable. I wasn't disappointed in the colours, in fact the green was stunning, the styles and designs of lace she brought me to try on, I wouldn't have considered at all- so she does see you as not just a client but as an individual and finds what will look good on you and give you the support you need, not just physically but mentally, because we have all been in those (dept store fitting rooms and they do us no favors). So 6 bras later, two pairs of matching bragas I was almost done.. one bra I absolutely loved that clips like an X , needed the straps to be taken in so I can wear it with my fancy dress and give stronger support (she is mailing it to me when it's done) and I bought a one piece "snatch it all in bodysuit"- I didn't think it would work but da--yummm !! ya I bought it and also special cleaning soap for my unmentionable- mentionables. I got a fitting for my wife as a birthday present. Up until now, she has purchased only from Victoria Secret. During the fitting, she was advised that she had been wearing the wrong size bra. The staff was incredibly personable and helpful. The shop carried an amazing selection, and though not inexpensive, she said the bras she purchased were the most comfortable that she's ever worn. She was extremely satisfied with the staff and selection, and will definitely be a returning customer. read more

Not the best experience. I was measured months ago & at the time was talked into buying an expensive bra that was ridiculously too tight. In fact, I have since lost weight and this bra is STILL impossibly tight and impossible to even hook without a second person pulling it together. It still has the tags on it, so obviously never worn. Yes, I know it was ultimately my (bad) decision to purchase it in the first place, but the service here is not customer friendly. After years of poor fitting bras, I decided to finally get a formal fitting. With plenty of positive reviews for Linda's, I decided to give her a try. Making an appointment was easy to do online & it's recommended you do so for a fitting. As soon as I entered the store, the front desk welcomed me and checked me in. I was then introduced to Linda. Linda was great, she knows her stuff. She measured my band size and cup size, then asked some questions for my desired bra needs. She showed a variety of options. If you feel like being put down, rushed and watched.. come here! Was in there for 15 mins, and they staff kept coming over and asking questions that we had already answered with the owner. Simply put my mother and I were searching for a bathing suit. The selection was decent, but the staff kept coming over and asking us if we needed help as if we haven't answered previously. We kept saying no, and thank you. And that we were just looking. And they kept coming back to bother us, or they'd watch us from a distance. The one staff, saw us looking at cover ups and asked in a snarky tone, "oh you're looking for cover ups now?" As if we can't look at anything but bathing suits. Would not go back. First time there, and LAST. Waste of my time, and I was recommended to come here by Lace silhouette. So it's not like I'm not willing to spend a good amount of money on decent quality undergarments or bathing suits. read more

I went in to the shop and was greeted so warmly and was immediately helped to find a bra that fit perfectly. So this is an example of excellent customer service - Linda helped me over the phone to find bras for a trip to Tanzania in July. Then I called in December because I was having surgery on both of my wrists and I needed something that I could easily get on and off and close without popping the stitches. Going without a bra in public is simply not an option for me. I left a message on their voicemail and within an hour I got a call back from one of the sales folks who told me that they did not have what I was looking for but gave me the name of another company that they thought would be able to help me out. Sending business to another company because your focus is on the needs of your customers is a rare and much appreciated trait!!! My first visit and I was a bit nervous. Shopping for bras is pretty personal and as a fat woman I'm just a bit more self conscious. Kristen took great care of me. My fat body didn't scare her...Lol. It wasn't awkward at all. I got some really pretty bras that fit! Pricing in my opinion is on par with what I would normally spend. Love that the staff were wearing face coverings made me feel more secured with being in the store but besides that KRISTEN was absolutely amazing! Although the website mentioned *appointments only* she still allowed me to get fitted and let me tell you girl it was by far MY BEST bra fitting that I've had I'm 34 and have been wearing the wrong bra size all my life but after Kristen's time and patience with me helping try on more than one style and size of bra and in different colors I think I finally...No I know I have my right bra size after all these years and actually wore one out of the store after my lovely hubby paid for them for me if it were up to me I would have gotten them all Kristen did an awesome job with the selections being that I'm a heavy chested girl they were all pretty bras and comfy bras. Walking into the store it is very clean and very nice looking with how the merchandise is displayed. I wanted to support a local shop in my quest for a perfectly fitted bra and I did buy two bras but I would not return here to shop in the future. If you plan on going here, be prepared for what you're walking into. 1. If you are doing a fitting, there is a $25 charge if you do not make a purchase. This was not made known when booking an appointment online. 2. If doing a fitting, it will be a whirlwind if your experience is anything like mine. I was in and out in five minutes time and ended up in my car like "what the heck just happened?" Definitely take your time and ask to be left alone for a few minutes in the fitting room to determine if you actually like what you're trying on. I did not and I regret it as I walked around in the bra for the next few hours at home with it peeking out of the neckline of my shirt and straining my neck and shoulders. 3. Do not let anyone take the tags off the bra! I was told I would wear this bra out of the store as she ripped the tags off. I was just totally dumbfounded after I left and then mad about it for days afterward because I didn't even love the bra. I would have returned but I didn't feel like going in and having to argue about it. 4. Do not expect sensitivity to your body type. After I initially took my bra off I was met with raised eyebrows sort of saying "oh boy do l have my work cut out for me..." not what you want when you're half naked in front of a total stranger. Perhaps it's a nice place for just browsing and shopping on your own, but I would not recommend it for a good bra-fitting experience. This store is beyond rude. My mom and I came in with 15 minutes before close and they refused to let us try anything on. I understand not wanting to start a fitting and measurements when my mom did not know her size, but I repeatedly said I know my size, why can't you pull any bras for me to try? She refused. I have two boobs it doesn't take more than 15 mins to try a bra on. Their hours aren't conducive to anyone with a steady job to get to this store and even with a quarter of an hour refused to even pull anything to try. Don't bother they are ridiculous and if you have a job and rush to make it in time they won't even give you the time of day. read more

BUYER BEWARE - LINDA DOES NOT STAND BY HER PRODUCTS! Went in and purchased a Simone Perele $99 bra - a luxury, but it fit so well I asked the sales gal to cut the tag off it while it was on me so I could wear it home. At max I wore it 4 hours. The following day when getting dressed, I noticed the lace had a loop pull when getting dressed so I put it aside & was told to show it to the owner. When I went back to the store less than 36 hours after the purchase, the owner Linda looked at it and gave me every ridiculous excuse why she wouldn't exchange it. First she said she would never sell a bra with a pull in it. Then she said I must have pulled it on jewelry...Seriously?! Then she took a scissor, cut the loop & handed it back to me. She said that sometimes her bras get pulls/frays and that is why she keeps scissors at the counter. So, basically, she acknowledged that sometimes her bras have frays/pulls before leaving her store without being worn and she cuts them off so her customers do not notice them. In truth, I did not examine the Simon Perele 3d plunge bra before purchasing it - i was ecstatic with the fit & wore it out the door. Further, since I've never had an issue with lace pulling on my 10 year old bras or panties, I could not even conceptualize a problem like this....especially with a bra that costs quadruple what I normally pay! Yet, less than 36 hours after purchasing, the owner would not exchange the $99 defective bra for a new one. Now, since the owner Linda cut the loose loop, I have paid for a bra that will most likely unravel even more. While writing this I took pics to share with you and noticed another pull & some fraying. I will try to post. BOTTOM LINE - DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY AT A REPUTABLE STORE THAT WILL EXCHANGE DAMAGED MERCHANDISE. Even if I had worn this $99 bra for 36 hours straight (& not just 4 hours) a reputable retailer would have honored an exchange, not made the defect worse and told you to live with it! Linda measured my wife (expertly) and offered a fun, personable sense of humor. She was welcoming and even engaged in some silly banter with us about finding "butch bras" for my wife. Brought my 89 year old Mother in Law shopping today for new bras today. She hadn't been fitted in years and desperately needed ones. I'm not from the area so I relied on the Yelp reviews to help me to find a store. I wanted to avoid a department store. Well I was not disappointed. Lori was so patient and professional. She was able to find a bra that fit perfectly. My Mother in Law was so impressed at how quick and easy it was because shopping isn't easy for her. I have two weddings coming up and was dreading how in the world I was going to find a bra that was both supportive and discreet enough so that it didn't show in either dress. As a plus sized woman with a large chest, I was feeling discouraged from what I could (more so couldn't) find online and suggestions of places from talking to friends. I finally decided to search for a specialty bra store where I could go and get sized and hopefully speak to someone who may be able to help me. Found a few places but decided to go to Linda's since it was only a 30 minute drive away. Let me tell you, not only is the store very welcoming and clean but I was in and out in less than 35 minutes with the best fitting bra I've ever tried on. Linda herself assisted me until we found a winner. For someone who isn't accustomed to going to a store and having that kind of experience, Linda made it comfortable and easy. Completely ripped off! After saying I was a 32 HH, she insisted I was a 30 I, I bought 2 bras and had them altered to these measurements. After a week of wearing them I was bruised and cut up around the wire. Two weeks later I come back to show my problem and she says maybe my birth control is fluctuating my breast size, "that happens sometimes" she says. Her solution to my problem was put it away until it fits again since I can't return it after alteration SHE SAID I needed. Meanwhile I go to another store and buy the same bra in a 32 HH and it fit just fine! Complete scam, and these bras are not cheap, talk about a horrible experience! Amazing store and staff. I was concerned by older posts complaining of lack of stock, but I can assure you that if that was an issue it has been resolved. I wear a 32gg and despise "granny bras" or even full coverage bras in general. I had a wonderful experience with a plethora of options to choose from. I left with five beautiful perfectly fitted bras which fit my personal preferences of shapes and colors. I had fun the whole time, and how often does that happen with bra shopping?! I went to this place about 2 weeks ago to purchase bras. When I went to wear one out the next weekend, it was too tight so I decided to go back and exchange it. When I brought the bras in, one of the workers started harshly saying, "These are damaged!!!" I hadn't even worn them so I was confused. One of the bras had a barely noticeable fold in the cup. "I can't sell this to anyone now!!!" I understood what she meant (even though it was barely visible), however, her tone was a bit much. I'm disappointed with this particular worker's response after I just spent almost $150 on bras! Linda, You 100% have me confused with someone else. This store's policy is to fit you first, then if you don't find a suitably fitting bra and/or find one in an acceptable price range, you must pay $25 for a fitting fee. Of course the owner can set whatever policy she wants for her own store, but I'm also free to not recommend what I believe is an absurdly anti-consumer business practice. Yes, it sucks for the store when someone takes advantage by getting fitted for free then buys somewhere else, but this cannot be the solution. How about just not telling the customer their size until after they've bought something? I want every customer to call up the store and ask for $25 if the come and find nothing that they find suitable as a travel fee. Ridiculous? Yup, just like the store's policy. read more
