I bought some pretty new dresses, and I could wear none of them because I did not have bras that would work with those dresses. I was not even sure of my proper size anymore, and knew it was time to finally be fitted properly for a bra. I made an appointment online with Linda's Bra Salon. It took us one hour to get there, and it was totally worth it. My fitter, Lori, put me completely at ease. She was professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and funny. She made me feel very comfortable when she was measuring me and helping me trying on bras. She said that most women wear the wrong bra size, and I was most definitely one of them. She helped me try on a lot of bras, and found the perfect bra that would work with the new dresses. (I brought the dresses with me to the fitting so I could try them on with the bras). I ended up buying 5 bras. No hard sell. The bras are beautiful, they feel so comfortable, and I ended up wearing one of them out of the store. Prices are about what you would expect to pay for a good bra. They will even ship bras to you if you can't make it back to the store. They have an enormous selection of bras, even outside of the "mainstream" sizes. I really felt so good about this experience. I was treated with dignity, with compassion and with respect. I don't think I can ever buy an ill fitting bra online again.

I look over as we drive by and said, ya, good idea.. I think I will- if you know us, this is not an odd conversation between us, because my hubby listens and remembers all the countless idiot details of my fly by conversations and mutterings, I'm a redhead, I mutter a lot. So Wednesday (my usual day of appointments) I took a beautiful drive down Rte 70 to Linda's. I love the store, it's comfortable and sweet looking. So first things first, wear pants or shorts, unless you wanna stand in the dressing room/fitting in your panties, ya I was wearing my everyday panties with a sundress and ill fitting bra,, sad times my friends, sad times. But Linda was super upbeat and my shyness was quickly erased. When she said she had exactly, what I needed. (Whispering between you and me- evidently I was wearing my bras too loose, go figure") hahaha. MOVING ON!!! I was measured and I can say I am a double digit, single letter bra gal! off she went to get me the most BEAUTIFUL bras I have ever seen, now mind you, I have 2 La Perla sets, that I bought many years ago, that I adore & treasure and only bring out..... when I wanna win the war if ya know what I mean (LOL). So the bras Linda brought me, are stunning and just made me feel so pretty and they were so very comfortable. I wasn't disappointed in the colours, in fact the green was stunning, the styles and designs of lace she brought me to try on, I wouldn't have considered at all- so she does see you as not just a client but as an individual and finds what will look good on you and give you the support you need, not just physically but mentally, because we have all been in those (dept store fitting rooms and they do us no favors). So 6 bras later, two pairs of matching bragas I was almost done.. one bra I absolutely loved that clips like an X , needed the straps to be taken in so I can wear it with my fancy dress and give stronger support (she is mailing it to me when it's done) and I bought a one piece "snatch it all in bodysuit"- I didn't think it would work but da--yummm !! ya I bought it and also special cleaning soap for my unmentionable- mentionables. I joined the bra club and walked out very very very happy. Thank you Linda you are indeed The Bra Queen.

I was very happy shopping there and absolutely plan to return. Prices are very fair for the quality and 100% in line with (or better than) other stores of this kind. Staff was super friendly and I felt very comfortable -- not always a given when you're standing in your underwear, talking to a stranger! Expect Lace has sizes that run up to 42J in store, but can easily order larger sizes as needed. Given the number of variables with bras (style + band + cup + color), it's hard for any store to keep every single option stocked, but Expect Lace does an excellent job of making sure they have enough to make things work. And if, say, you find the right bra but in the wrong color? They can order and ship the one you want to your house -- FOR FREE! Music to my ears. In addition, once you shop there, they keep a record of what you bought. So in my case, my file shows that I bought a certain bra in a specific size, but also notes what other stuff was working for me. I love this because it means I can just contact them and say, "I want that same thing but in purple," and they can make it happen. One thing to note (and the reason I knocked them down a star): It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find out what time this store is open. I checked Yelp, Google, and Instagram and they all gave me a different story. I called the number and no one answered, but the voicemail said to make an appointment, which I did. (And it's not just me -- another customer came in and had the same question while I was being helped.) Apparently they've just got a lot of stuff going on right now and limited staff so sometimes the hours need to flex, but knowing for sure when they were open would've gotten me there a lot sooner and being able to drop in during known open hours would've been easier for me than scheduling an appointment. ps. Also parking is a pain but that's just Manayunk!

They have a really great selection and for things not in stock they said they would contact me when it got in. Scheduling an appointment is so worth it because you get your appointment fee deducted from your total purchase. It's clear that Shaw is really good and what she does and I would definitely refer anyone and everyone to her!

Anyway, the reason for giving a 1 star review is due to an older lady that works here (possible owner/ manager). My wife likes to buy 2-3 outfits for that one occasion, then return the ones that we didnt use. This lady acts like she is doing me the biggest favor in the world when I'm returning the clothes. I can feel the attitude from here every-time. When I go to other store locations, the employees are so nice, they even remind me to check my email for coupons! This lady is the opposite, she hates when you use a coupon. Hopefully she can find a man and take a chill pill. I pray for her.

I spoke to a woman named Juliana who identified her self as the store manager, but she was not the store manager come find out she was the supervisor. She gave me misinformation and told me that I need to contact DoorDash to make arrangements for my order to be picked up. This really was not true. I paid for delivery and I was told by customer care Isaiah (who was a big help which is why 1 star is even being given) that DoorDash would be assigned to me by the company long story short my order got delayed because the store didn't understand their own practices regarding same day delivery and on top of it Juliana was very rude and unprofessional towards me even hanging up the phone because she got mad that I kept asking about the shoes and delivery service that I paid for. This has been the worst experience with buying on-line that I ever had. Please, save yourself the time, effort and confusion. Do not waste your time placing and on-line order here. Juliana should be fired for misrepresenting herself over the telephone and speaking to customers in a rude and unprofessional manner.
