Got right to work and took care of the job quickly and efficiently, pulled out a 10 foot section of roots while he was at it. Looked like a big ole Python!! Greg Williams of Jax Vents is very professional and thorough. The air speed on my dryer increased from 9mph to 13.5 mph following the vent cleaning. (He has also serviced my daughter's dryer with the same great results.) I'll say I'm proud to have the first Yelp review for JaxVents. I'm honestly surprised no one has left one previously because Greg at JaxVents is awesome! Being a first time fireplace owner in a newly purchased older home, I knew that for piece of mind, I wanted to have our chimney swept. Greg, the owner, responded to the yelp quote request quickly. He provided his business number to discuss an estimate and schedule an appointment if I wanted. He was upfront about an estimate based on the chimney type (prefabricated, masonry, etc). He arrived on time and kept my house clean. He laid out a canvas for all of his tools and brought his tools wrapped up in another tarp to bring through the house. Greg provided a thorough inspection on the fireplace, chimney, and roof components. He also left my house clean, not a speck of soot anywhere! At the cost of sounding a little strange, I noticed that the bottom of Greg's shoes were also clean, from coming in and out of the house a few times as needed. Greg was patient as I asked a lot of questions, being a first time fireplace owner. I am impressed and happy that he wanted to share with me how my 30+ year fireplace works, best practices, and recommendations for upkeep. I couldn't be happier with the professionalism, cleanliness, and knowledge that Greg shared with me on his visit. I highly recommend Greg at JaxVents and will be hiring Greg to perform my next chimney sweep. As a side-note he does perform dryer vent cleanings as well!
