I just recently drove my car across the country to move to PA, again with my dog (and my cat) in the car with me. Despite all the wear and tear on my car lately, somehow Fernando got it looking like new again. And I'm not exaggerating on that! It really looks and smells like new. Plus, it only took him 3 hours and that included both interior and exterior cleaning. He truly did a great job and it was an added plus that he was able to meet me at my workplace, and provided his own water and electricity for the job. It couldn't have been any more convenient. He inspected my rust area and gave me a detailed printed estimate in minutes. When I dropped off my car, it was very quick and he told me he'd have it in two or three days tops. It has never been to a private mechanic not even for an oil change. She took it here for a paint job. We dealt with Miguel who at first seemed very nice and personable. We got the car back and realized water was coming in. None of the weather stripping or moulding was replaced. Took it back and another gentleman got very nasty with her and Miguel took over the conversation. Miguel refused responsibility. She brought it to the dealership upon leaving this establishment and they showed her where a tool damaged the gasket to the windshield. This has been a costly headache. Not only did the windshield need to get fixed but the flooring has mold from the water damage. Shame on Miguel and Maaco for taking advantage of an old woman. He did try to get me to bring her car in so he can try to fix the mold but unfortunately the damage is done and I wouldn't even bring my bike to them. The dealership (who doesn't offer paint jobs which is why we had to go elsewhere) also said the paint job wasn't good. They not only didn't buff the old paint off but they didn't buff the glue that was left behind from the gaskets they removed and painted over the glue!!!
