Stopped in here before a show at the recommendation of a friend who is local. They are conveniently located next to the Variety Playhouse and it definitely has a bit of a "divey" feel to it, but the coffee was strong and amazing and the employee behind the counter was super nice and friendly. Only complaint, they didn't have the air conditioner on for some crazy reason so it was hot as hell in there. I'm not sure how people were sitting inside!

This coffee shop was such a great stop! It is a small intimate space and a good place to sit and chill while to sip on your drinks. They also have wine and beer available. I had a dirty chai and really enjoyed it! The Batista was super friendly.

Very interesting place. Atmosphere is very hipster and gothic. Good coffee though. It was a good spot to hang out while waiting on my son's rehearsal next door.

Stopped by to grab some coffee on my way home and it was interesting to say the least. I ordered The Irishmen's Coffee and it was actually stronger than I expected (slightly stronger than I prefer but too much alcohol is ALWAYS better than too little!). I tried making conversation with the bartender but he wasn't interested so I gave up. Definitely more of a bar than a cafe but I decided to get a latte to go, to see how their Java fares. Big mistake! I don't know if he used old coffee or burnt coffee or what but it was nasty - I kept trying to make myself swallow it down (I hate wasting money) but I couldn't do it. 3 stars for the coffee cocktail -1 star for the latte Not my bag but your mileage may vary. Yelp 100 - #16

My friend and I came here on a Tuesday night, both of our first time. It was real chill and laid back, live music in the background, very nice vibe! The bartender, Sterling was awesome! He made us the perfect glass of "adult" chocolate milk :) 10/10 will return!

Artsy, trendy joint in Little Five Points. In a way, seems a little lost in translation of what they are more considered: night life or coffee. Have been twice for iced lattes. They have a pretty good coffee selection. As far as a coffee shop would go, flavor of drinks and atmosphere, I would give them between a 3-3.5. Nightlife could be better, so I night check out that scene when I get a chance. For some reason I don't feel like I'm in the right atmosphere for just buying coffee. I can relate with a few of the recent reviews in that sense.

The indoor seating is hit or miss as they have one couch that is really low to the ground and uncomfortable to sit on but the other couches are comfy. The cocktails here are delicious. I got the white witch and wow, what a great drink! The bartenders are all super kind too and make the drinks quickly. I can't wait to come back and try some of their other cocktails!

Just a warning, the space inside is pretty small--typically there's optional seating outside, but it's really chilly at the moment (although they have heaters)--but there's more seating downstairs in The Victorian Atlanta plant shop. I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Overall, this place had such a great vibe to it!

So, I finally had the opportunity to stop by this famous establishment. First of all, they open at 5. There are people literally waiting in their cars in the parking lot for them to open at 5. The wings sell out everyday. I say all this to say, you need to get there early. This is not one of those just drop in whenever joints. This is very much a dive bar and there is nothing special about it. I will say if you are trying to come with friends y'all better come together otherwise yall won't be doing anything together. Now, on to the reason why I was here- the infamous wings. The positives-They come out hot and fresh; you can tell they are oven baked and not fried; there are several flavors for you to try; and the food came out quick. I tried lemon pepper because that is the baseline for me when it comes to new wing spots. I'm not a fan of dry rubs so the taste was just okay to me. I will most likely need to go back to try another flavor to give a more accurate assessment but I will say I may have been spoiled by the whole lemon pepper wet thing so again, that created a bias for me. The local is near my job so I will come back and visit on another day and try another flavor just to give a full assessment.

Once I got inside, the line for wings was at the door, and the line for drinks was also quite long. All the tables were taken, which made sense considering the crowd. However, once I finally got a table and some wings, I was pleasantly surprised. The wings were fall-off-the-bone meat packed with flavor. I got ranch on the side, which was creamy and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place, but be prepared to ask around for a table and wait in some lines. Also, keep in mind that the restaurant only makes a certain amount of wings a day, so get there before they're gone!
