Went to Java hut for a smoothie as I was drinking I noticed a cardboard taste, opened the lid and sure enough a cardboard sleeve in my drink. Not sure how this was missed maybe poor attention to detail or in a rush! read more

This is my first review I have ever made , I came on here to tell everyone how amazed I was today by not only the service , but my drink . It was my second time here today and the employee "Marissa" was excellent she was very sweet and super quick with my drink I ordered a large caramel Frappuccino with extra drizzle and my drink was beautifully made and was just perfect. I will definitely be coming here over Starbucks ANY DAY . So happy I came across this place and so happy to meet the employees thank you java hut I will be back soon :) read more

Amazing quick & friendly service. The new menu offers a variety of drinks both hot and cold . May take you longer to decide what you want than it does for them to make your drink ( personal experience ) The Abuletias hot chocolate I highly recommend for those chilly days , its absolutely delicious read more

Great experience The girls are not rude they are nice. 10/10 great service best chai latte read more

The Java Hut is a convenient place primarily for coffee drinks but also other beverage and food items. The location is well suited for commuters going to/from via the Ortega Highway or to/from I-15 via Highway 74/Riverside Drive. I typically go there as a stop along my morning walk. The Java Hut is the type of small local business that the Lake Elsinore community should help to support because the Java Hut provides a good product that serves not only local residents but also visitors to our city and commuters driving through our city. read more

i love this place!! every time i get something there, it's bomb. and everyone that works there is so sweet.

Super confused as to why there are so many good reviews for this spot. We ordered a Java Junkie and a Caramel Macchiato and pulled up to the window, was a little surprised how quickly they gave us our coffees, I don't think there was enough time to make a shot of espresso, let alone enough shots of espresso for those 2 coffees......then we tasted them, I couldn't taste any espresso.....tasted like one of those specialty coffee dispensing machines you find at the continental breakfast in a hotel. Terrible, dumped them both out. We also ordered a croissant sandwich and a bagel, both small and again like cheap hotel food or something you get at the gas station convenience store. Never again. read more

This is a great place to get your coffee fix as well as custom specialty drinks. I'm a former Starbucks mgr and I'm finicky with my coffee drinks...Java Hut serves up amazing hot, cold & blended drinks! Since I follow Keto dietary guidelines, sugar is a no no. Guess what? They've got lots of sugar free syrups AND sugar free whip cream. To top it off, every barista that has taken my crazy coffee order has been polite, friendly and know how to make great drinks to order. Give this place a try, you'll be glad you did!!! read more

Love the old and new owners. Great place to stop and grab great coffee! We boycotted Starbucks due to their very sour/burnt tasting beans. Love to go here and support our local coffee shop. Can take some time to get your coffee, but that because it is fresh and done per order. Well worth the wait and pricing! read more

Love coming here! Staff is super nice and orders are pretty quick. Love the caramel macchiato and the black and white Expresso's. Fan for life read more

The ladies are so nice and efficient. Drive thru is awesome. Ordered a iced caramel macchiato and a pup pup whipped cream for my doggo. Support local businesses. This spot is awesome and will come back to try the Halloween drinks. read more

When I come here I always make sure I have extra $ to tip the barista!!! They always do such a great job and the coffee is delicious! I love the almond milk iced latte! If I start my day with one from Java Hut I know om gonna have a great day! Lots of smiles and love go into their coffee! Cute little nook in our awesome town. I agree with the reviews they are extremely rude , i have gone here to support them alot these past weeks and i have never had a problem until yesterday with one of their employees (hispanic, black hair, short hair in a small pony tail, looked like she barley graduated) and their attitude, she was rude, didn't have no greeting or smile what so ever, and to top it off my drink didn't taste like it should have, tasted mostly like ice and milk when I messaged them telling them about my bad experience instead of asking what happened they just asked what drink did i order, after i told them they just read my message and didn't reply, thats when i kind of knew it was the same girl that attended me was replying back to me because i send another message saying i wanted a refund for 1 out of the 2 drinks that i ordered and they replied back by saying my "message was confusing,if i had a genuine problem with the drink or did i just not like it ,and that she worked early morning and didn't have any issues nor did she haves someone bring a drink back so my message was a bit surprise" and "that the owner would refund me my money" which I thought okay thats good they're kinda owning up to it, but as i wanted to reply back to tell them why I didn't like the drink they blocked me they're really unprofessional and i been literally promoting them to friends and family and in social media, now I really know what ppl mean about this place now, never coming here again thats for sure nor will I recommend this place to any of my family and friends, such poor professionalism and to top it off i texted the owner 951-816-5xxx about the issue, she didn't even bother to reply, i will definitely by speaking about my bad experience to everyone i know, shame on these people , they get the community to support them yet they treat them like trash , u know what keep our money , i just honestly never want to go back there that's how bad it is read more

They used to be really really good but lately their quality has gone down hill. The last two times we have been there two of my 3 drinks were wrong, both times! I don't see the owner there anymore so that could be part of the reason. On 5/11/20 when we were there neither of the girls were wearing facemask's or gloves when handing money and then our drinks! I hope things ture around soon, this was one of my favorite coffee spots to go to in town and I love to support small businesses in our community. read more

The dirty chia is my favorite drink there!! I go like twice a week or more lol! Plus staff is always super friendly!!

I love getting coffee here the workers are always nice they get my order out too me so fast and it always tastes great

I purchased a tropical smoothie. Definitely wasn't made with fruit. It had an chemical taste. It was disgusting and my stomach has been upset since. Obviously they don't care about their customers and lie about what's in their drinks. Should have read previous reviews about the same issue before ordering. read more

This place is awesome! My husband and I pulled up right before closing and they had everything ready to close and the wonderful lady penes back up her machines to serve us coffee. Not to mention we got 2 ice blended drinks and a vanilla latte and holy moly it was soooooo yummy! They have soy and almond milk options as well which we love. 10/10 recommend this cute little coffee shop! read more

I entered the drive thru lane with 3 people ahead of me at 10:01 am on Saturday and didn't drive away with my coffee until 10:46. You gotta be kidding me right? It's coffee, not a soufflé. Major love to this coffee shop, I love the coffee, ham and cheese croissants but the staff is always awesome! I've never had any problems with anyone nor with my of my orders. The service is subpar, baristas are not super friendly or welcoming, but normally I forgive this for some lavender coffee. Today however, the service was horrible. The barista I encountered was so rude. I asked for 2 iced coffees sans ice, and she handed me 2 half cups of coffee. After laughing because, seriously? I asked her if she could please fill them up. She said no that it was pre-measured. She said, "first of al, this isn't Starbucks". Clearly, because Starbucks makes sure their customers are happy. She called her manager who I believe was the owner and said in front of me, that I was arguing with her and still they wouldn't just fill up the coffee. I mean, to have a customer leave unhappy with half a cup of coffee and lose a customer on principle just to save 10 cents of coffee? Just bad business and terrible customer service. I try to support small businesses and the coffee here is good, but because of the bad customer service and managing practices I'll be just taking my business back to Starbucks. Unless you want to be frustrated or aren't picky, I suggest you do the same. ***in response to the owners reply below since I am unable to reply... Ma'am, no one was nasty or mean to your rude and clearly poorly trained employee, I can only assume you're trying to cover up the bad service and place blame for your rude employee and bad service on to your FORMER customer, that you clearly don't care to lose. Your barista was unprofessional and the situation could have been resolved quite easily and this would have been avoided. I was indeed frustrated at the service and attitude I received. Your response just validates that poor attitude and bad customer service is a reflection of management. Thank you for the offer to refund, but I don't need it. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere thanks. read more

I went to Java hut to change up my coffee from Starbucks and asked if they had decaf options which the girl working said yes. So I asked for an iced decaf pumpkin spice latte and it was amazing. I'm very very sensitive to caffeine and unfortunately this was not decaf which made me completely sick. I had to pull over off the freeway to park at a fast food restaurant and have my bf pick me up because I was so shakey and out of it from the coffee. So disappointed because the coffee was so good but just can't risk the feeling of feeling like dying. read more

Consistently good coffee and smoothie drinks, prices aren't bad either, and usually pretty quick service. I usually go for the blended Java Junkie or the blended Dirty Chai (which reminds me of a Pumpkin Spice Frappe in a pinch lol), but the Snickers drink and Cookies & Creme drink are good too. They will add an energy drink to your smoothie for a small price, a good heads up if you're looking for a boost read more

I've lived in Lake Elsinore for a few months now and I have been wanting to try it out, today I finally did. I stopped by after picking up my daughter from school, I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte. Unfortunately it didn't taste as good as it looked, it had a weird chemical cleaning supply taste. I don't know if it was the syrup but I had my husband taste it and he agreed, I took a couple of sips and threw it out. I will probably try this place again at some point but I definitely won't get pumpkin spice. read more

Local & has super good smoothies! Customer service is good & super friendly. Hadn't had a bad experience.

I love supporting this small business! The idea of it is so cute and the staff is always super friendly :) my favorites are the blended cookies and cream and the Caribbean smoothie. Oh and they switched from the punch card to the clover app, but I think the app actually works better since I don't have to worry about forgetting or losing the card (+ it's more covid friendly). Love it read more

Because of the reviews I stopped in on my way to town. I ordered a dirty chai tea, honestly not the best tasting at all, I normally make these at home or purchase at the coffee bean, or it's a grind. This tasted like it was all the chai powder with no extra espresso like ordered. I probably won't be back for an almost $8 drink I could make better at home or get two at another establishment. read more

My girlfriend LOVES the coffee here and the girl was really sweet to us today. I also love that it's a drive thru but it's a little confusing, go around the building first and then you'll find the entrance. Anyway, we bought a caramel macchiato and she said it was the perfect amount of sweet and it's giving her energy for sure. Plus a large was $4.50 and it's a size that I expect a large to be, so great prices. Will be back! :) read more

After six months of living in LE I finally took a chance to try this place out. I have to start out by saying that this place rocks! I have been a gold card member of Starbucks since 2007, I always loved the incentives. Though the customer service is very poor and I am super thankful to have found Java hut! Not only do they have double punch Tuesday's for the drive threw punch card ( for every 10 punches the 11th is free ) but their coffee is organic and soooo tasty, Not to mention the wide variety of drinks they carry!!!! I love the customer service, the energy, and overall appearance of the baristas, I felt welcomed and not rushed. I had the privilege of trying the green tea and an awesome caramel toffee coffee frappe which were both delicious and for the fraction of the cost I would have spent at Starbucks! I am very tempted to purchase their t-shirt and promote this establishment just because I want it to stay open for many more years to come. I know there's not an intercom to place your order but the wait ( if any ) is worth it! I am happy to say that this will be my coffee house from now on and to Starbucks; I'm not sorry for finding a better place to frequent though I do feel sorry for them due to their lack of teaching their baristas awesome customer service such as Java hut has displayed! I shall see you soon Java hut! read more

Love this place. Good coffee, great smoothies and damn good hot chocolate. Cute as hell employees(always a plus...) that are fast and friendly. Jamie, do you know, REALLY KNOW, what effect you have on the community of Lake Elsinore? You hire students, our future leaders, at your business. That is commendable and necessary but you go further than that. You MANAGE them with HEART. Your techniques are flexible and reasonable while still maintaining your business efficiently. I'm sorry Jamie that I live a LONG way from Lake Elsinore. I am actually in Pinon Hills west of Victorville in the High Desert of San Bernardino County. If closer, I would support Java Hut every week with my favorite beverage. My granddaughter is an employee of Java Hut. Recently, you accommodated her final sports event which conflicted with her working hours that day. You found a way as an expert manager to split her day's hours which allowed her to participate in her water polo sport. Your act was spread all over Facebook with heavy support and promises of visiting Java Hut to support you in return. Way to go Jamie! SCORE!!!! read more

Ok. I don't normally do reviews but this place is too amazing not to. First of all the coffee is great and so are the foods. I don't drink coffee but my gf does and she loves it. Well apparently last week I mistakenly left a hundred dollar bill on the counter, which they held for me till today when we came back to get some coffee. Faith in humanity restored! Seriously, there aren't enough people like this in the world. Thanks to Tally and Julie!!! Sorry if im spelling it wrong. You guys are awesome!! read more

Heard about this place on a community group and even talked to the owner. , Yelp reviews even sounded great. Took the disabled bus there thinking I could wander around or sit inside and wait for the bus to come back. All outdoor seating on a cold foggy morning. Lucky I was able to visit and kill the time with a fellow customer waiting to get her car fixed. The ham and cheesse cresant and ice coffeewere great along with the company. Was just hoping for a larger building instead of strickly drive-thru. read more
