I first saw a post on Facebook community page about this family owned coffee spot, so I checked it out. Became a daily customer. . With covid sometimes I go twice a day. Lol. I follow Java on Facebook now and I keep seeing them advertise different new products - so why wouldn't I try them out! I love the convenience of a drive through bc my little dude! He loves the sugar free whip cream choc milk. I love the cool kid cups. My new favorite is the flavored lemonade ice teas but when I need a pick me up- I order the Ortega perk up add caramel. And the service- with only 1 customer ahead of me, it still took 7 minutes to make 2 frapps and they were served by a snooty girl with no manners. Never again. Once upon a time this place rocked. Now 1 star is too kind. Was there less than a week ago. The owner and family who run it are the sweetest people, and have even lended an ear for me after my husband passed away. I've been looking for a coffee shop that isn't corporate or a chain. So excited I found this spot! Coffee was great, prices were fair. Service was good too. Only thing I wish is that there were more "clean" options, like an organic roast, grass fed cream, stuff like that. I would totally pay more for it! We ordered a Java Junkie and a Caramel Macchiato and pulled up to the window, was a little surprised how quickly they gave us our coffees, I don't think there was enough time to make a shot of espresso, let alone enough shots of espresso for those 2 coffees......then we tasted them, I couldn't taste any espresso.....tasted like one of those specialty coffee dispensing machines you find at the continental breakfast in a hotel. Terrible, dumped them both out. We also ordered a croissant sandwich and a bagel, both small and again like cheap hotel food or something you get at the gas station convenience store.
