Leave it up to the owner to ruin my entire experience! Never again coming back! Not that it matters to her; however, she just lost a VIP member (25+ visits in a month). How in the hell does the owner argue with a loyal customer over points!?!? The staff is always super nice, polite and took the time to memorize my order. The owner should take some lessons from them. I also, will not be spending a dime at the Classy Closet. read more

Java Hut - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Lake Elsinore, California

I thought I retired from my reviewing and blogging days, but I love this place so much that I had to make an exception. I discovered this place because of our Lake Elsinore community group page. So many people would post about it. I always wanted to try it out but I was lazy because I live off of Central/74 Hwy and work in Murrieta, but I took a week off work once back in like February and decided to give it a try. The first drink I ever tried was the Java Junkie. I fell in love with it right off the bat. I am extremely picky about my coffee. Yet, I absolutely love this place. I literally go out of my way before work or after work just to get a drink from here even though there's a Starbucks by my house and many other coffee shops on my way to work. I do once in a while change up my order, because I like trying new things. They have a great variety of items on the menu. Everything I've had has been pretty good. I admit a lot of things can be on the sweet side, but I'm sure they can accommodate your order if you ask. I definitely do recommend trying different things on their menu if some of the stuff you had didn't strike your fancy, because they got some pretty good stuff. One other reason my experience here is always great, is because of the staff. I adore the staff here. Tbh if anyone complains about the staff here, I think it's a problem with the customer, not the staff. They have always been extremely happy and helpful. A lot of them remember my order by now, so all I have to do is pull up and my stuff is ready and I love that feeling. If you haven't been here yet, I 10000% recommend stopping by! It'll be worth it. Definitely one of my go-to spots for coffee :) read more

Very good coffee and drinks! My faves are the java junkie and dark chocolate mocha! I usually go for the dark chocolate mocha and I get in either hot, iced, or blended...they're all great just depends on the weather lol The service there is quick and the ladies are all very friendly! Pretty good place and awesome to have close by for all the people that live by the Ortega's! They give a card and if you go often you usually get a card that's punched for every visit and the 10th drink is free! read more

Came here today and nothing tasted good, I'm not a picky eater but there was a very weird taste to my food and I physically couldn't eat it. Worker was super rude as well. I don't recommend this place!!! Wish I could give it 0 stars... nicely told the worker that We didn't enjoy the food or drink, taste stale and bad. All we got was disrespect and couldn't even give us the kindness and good customer service nothing wanted to just be rude about it and not give us a refund or anything... yeah they gave me a free drink but that's cause the got my order wrong, anyways everything was nasty i will never be coming back. It's sad cause I even tipped and was super excited!! But this was such a bad experience. read more

Delicious coffees, nice professional and courteous service! Only place in elsinore that I go to for coffee!

I love coming to java hut for my coffee ! I usually get a blended dirty chai tea And my husband gets an iced americano and my son gets a matcha ! We had an unexpected experience for the first time after coming here for years. I must say the management here is top notch ! I expressed my concerns and she turned my whole day around. We came back today I ordered a blended caramel macchiato with whipped cream ! It was so delicious ! Def a must try if you like sweeter drinks He ordered the usual ice Americano! Tasted very fresh read more

I first saw a post on Facebook community page about this family owned coffee spot, so I checked it out. Became a daily customer. . With covid sometimes I go twice a day. Lol. I follow Java on Facebook now and I keep seeing them advertise different new products - so why wouldn't I try them out! I love the convenience of a drive through bc my little dude! He loves the sugar free whip cream choc milk. I love the cool kid cups. My new favorite is the flavored lemonade ice teas but when I need a pick me up- I order the Ortega perk up add caramel. The staff is great- Pricing is better than large chain coffee shops. The bagels are bomb. It's a one stop shop! Always leave satisfied. Even if there is a line, it's worth the short wait. read more

I encourage you to read the owner's response to my previous review!!! Per usual they aren't capable of taking accountability for THEIR own actions.. Pathetic. Notice how she said "daily fix", I was a regular and even though they made my drink shitty 8/10 times, I STILL supported this business until I had enough of their disrespect. Sorry but I don't need sassy ass baristas making me feel like I'm the problem. I can honestly say it makes me happy when I drive by and there's nobody in the drive thru. Call it karma? I surely do! Maybe learn the lesson to NOT treat your customers like we are the problem, and fix your personal issues with not being able to handle honesty & constructive criticism . . Jamie, thanks for taking the time to reply! Can't wait to see what you have to say to this one! :) read more

"There's no place like home" is the first thought that comes to mind when I think of Java Hut. Lake Elsinore wouldn't be the same without this place. From the sweet staff members to the wonderful owner Jamie, to the delicious unique drinks and flavorful menu items, you honestly can't beat that. When it comes to supporting small businesses you have to keep in mind that there's so much competition out there especially with coffee places, so even if you just enjoy a cup of hot coffee from time to time, it helps make a difference making a stop at Java Hut. Thank you to Salvador, Kayla, Jamie, and all of the other kind staff I've encountered throughout the years, you deserve all the recognition and more. read more

The worst coffee in Elsinore. McDonald's coffee is superior to this place. Freeze dried instant coffee is better. And the service- with only 1 customer ahead of me, it still took 7 minutes to make 2 frapps and they were served by a snooty girl with no manners. Never again. Once upon a time this place rocked. Now 1 star is too kind. Was there less than a week ago. They must be counting on the school reopening after the summer, because they need customers with nowhere else to go and no taste in order to survive. read more

I go to Java Hut every day, most of the time it's twice of the day. I get the pistachio latte which is absolutely delicious. The customer service is always top notch. I love Jamie. She is such a hard working woman and does a great job of running her business. All the girls there are so sweet. I also love the passion fruit green tea iced. It's so good. Anywhere else you're going to get less coffee for more money. This is the place to go. read more

I just found our new favorite coffee place. Already came here twice in a row and will continue to come here. The service is superb and the coffee is Out-of-this-World! Yesterday we came across a Facebook review on this location, so we decided to give it a try. It was such a great experience I had to leave a yelp review. The customer service is exceptional. Thank you for such a great experience, we will definitely be going back for more. read more

I have been coming to this place for years and it is by far the best coffee place in Elsinore. The owner and family who run it are the sweetest people, and have even lended an ear for me after my husband passed away. Love love their drinks and food items, however I believe good customer service is essential to a business, and it's never really consistent here, sometimes you have really nice girls working there I can name a few from what I see on their apron Mariah, Ruby, and Katherin, well today i did not feel I had the greatest visit just felt like these girls did not want to be there especially the young girl at the second window had a very snotty attitude. I will keep coming back because I love the drinks and in hopes to hopefully have the friendly baristas help me read more

Hey no one is mentioning the huge pot hole that's been there for years ! Be careful you'll hack up your car trying to get a $ 4 coffee!

To bad for the new owner, long time customer will not be back!! Had the stamp card down to last punch, purchased a large black coffee and a caramel Frappuccino with extra whip cream, order came to $8 handed cashier money and hole punch card and she informed me that new ownership they will no longer be excepting the card, I was at my last hole punch the other little girl behind her decided to become snotty about it so I asked for my money back I'll leave as the girl behind her was waiting at me saying bye-bye leave. I will never be back! Horrible customer service from three snotty females. Good luck with keeping the longtime customer with that attitude! In reply to your response to my post is good luck with that Attitude I won't be back and I tell everyone I know it was right around here what happened good luck on your new venture read more

I've been looking for a coffee shop that isn't corporate or a chain. So excited I found this spot! Coffee was great, prices were fair. Service was good too. Only thing I wish is that there were more "clean" options, like an organic roast, grass fed cream, stuff like that. I would totally pay more for it! EDIT: that is seriously such good news I had no idea! Updated to 5 stars! They have great grass fed half and half through sprouts that's pretty good quality if you're looking around for some! thanks again! read more
