Soooo many options to choose from on their menu! I tried the cookies and cream specialty blend with a shot of espresso which was good when you have a sweet tooth. The Thai tea with boba and the caramel macchiato were also very yummy. The young gentleman that took our order was very friendly and helped give good options since it was our first time trying this coffee spot. I love that they also have food items available too!

My first time ever coming to Java Hut and the drinks were absolutely delicious. The lady at the cashier was very sweet and pleasant. My drink tasted strong and flavorful and delicious. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to come back again.

Such a cute little coffee spot! Java Hut is literally what its name says; it is a little hut that sells coffee, teas, and other tasty creations. It has a drive thru and a little walk-up window where you can order near the patio. There is no inside. The patio is cute, with some nice bench seating and plants decorating it. Parking is no problem at all as it is a larger shared lot. The menu seems quite expansive, even showing boba drinks added since the last version of the menu I found posted on here! But I came here wanting to try either a coffee or matcha drink. After a brief look at the menu and seeing they still have their holiday menu up, I was very excited to try the Cookie Butter latte. I LOVE Biscoff, so this immediately got my attention. The lady who took my order was nice and helpful with my questions. This was my first visit but I didn't want to be difficult. She said they do have decaf espresso, which is a huge win for me! I just cannot handle fully caffeinated coffee. I wish I could. So I ordered my small iced decaf cookie butter latte and pulled around to the pickup window after paying. My drink was made quickly, and it was beautiful! The Biscoff cookie on top was a nice little treat to enjoy with the drink. As for the drink itself? DELICIOUS! Sometimes decaf can have an off flavor, but this was nice and the cookie butter flavor was amazing. I would order this again if I knew it would stick around! At least for now, it is just seasonal. My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that my drink felt like it had a ton of ice. I enjoyed the drink, but it seemed like I finished it so quickly and the cup was filled around 3/4 of the way with ice. If you want more of the drink, you may have to order a hot drink. This one was short but sweet. I was happy to see their matcha menu with a handful of drink options and I had almost ordered the vanilla cloud matcha but only changed my mind when I saw the cookie butter latte. I am out this way about once a month or so, so perhaps next month I will try one of the matcha creations! I am definitely a fan and always happy to support a small business. Why go to that big chain coffee place down the road when Java Hut is right here?!

Amanda P.

The iced sticky rice mango matcha was okay. Not sure if there was much matcha in it but they were nice

We drove 20 mins and waited in line to try this coffee and it was terrible. Literally all sugar and we got ours 1/4 sweet!!! Not drinkable, we dumped it all out. If you're looking for quality coffee, this place isn't it unfortunately.

The best banana coffee around! I've been here 10 years and unfortunately never knew this place existed. Well now it's a staple for me! The baristas did mine extra sweet and were very helpful with all my questions!

Great little coffee spot in Elsinore. I ordered the snickerdoodle ice latte and my sister the snored iced latte and they were nothing but great. Coffee wasn't not diluted like many so many places now days that just make a fluffy drink. Even with all the flavors in our drinks the coffee came thru. We also tried one of their breakfast sandwiches which was also great. They also have a little cute eating area. Can't wait to come back.

They changed the damn matcha green tea recipe. It use to be yummy and sweet. Changes like this make me not want to come back smh

Marina C.

UPDATE:::: The business owner, Jaime, such a sweetheart! She completely refunded us and messaged us personally! I value that and would love to come back to try Java Hut again! :)

I've driven past the Java Hut but never really paid attention until last week. I finally stopped by and ordered my iced coffee. Can I tell you just how awesome the experience was? LOL I'm going to anyway. :^) Melissa was so friendly to me AND my dogs. She handed me some doggy biscuits and asked their names. We chatted, no one else in line, and she is such a breathe of fresh air. Excellent service. Excellent iced coffee, too. Not watered down, nice and smooth, and served with a happy smile. So glad I stopped by, and I will definitely return. A lot. #SupportLocalBusiness read more

I love JavaHut. I'm on a Keto lifestyle and they have Keto drinks on their menu, something that even big restaurant chains do not have. The drinks are delicious too! My niece recently tried the bagel ham and cheese sandwich and she was raving about it. I also like knowing I'm supporting a small business. I would definitely recommend stopping by here for a little coffee pick me up. read more

Cute little coffee stop. Owner/Lady inside was extremely friendly and more than willing to help us decide what we wanted. It's easy to get in/out of and it is a drive thru. Prices were fair. We were told that all whipped toppings, etc are organic. We got a punch card, Tuesday's are double punch! We don't live right down the street or anything so won't be stopping in regularly but we will grab a joe to go when cruising thru this area. read more

Gave them 2 stars for effort and customer service but seriously the drinks are terrible. Either they have a lot of friends leaving good reviews or these people have seriously never had good coffee. Tried their keto drinks and the after taste from the syrups they use is horrible. They don't use organic heavy cream, sugar free syrups have sucralose it would be nice if they used better quality products. Also maybe a different location in a nicer area. read more

We were excited to get our drink only to get blatantly rejected because she said she couldn't serve us while we were in school, which we were not. Of course we told her we don't even go here then proceeded to wait a little while until she got off the phone to serve us. Only when we told her that we weren't in school did she start showing a better attitude. Hopefully the drinks are good, but the service has rubbed in a bad way. read more

I recently went through the drive thru of this place, and the employee was working on helping a previous customer. No big deal, but the problem was that she kept on talking to the customer not even an acknowledgement that I was even there. She kept on talking to the previous customer still after she was done helping her. I am sitting there waiting in drivie-thru. I am a pretty reasonable patient person, but this was excessive. I tried to give them my business and was hoping to continue but the customer service was not there. Anyway I had to leave because I had things to do.I hope they get this taken care of or they may lose more business. read more

I tried their house coffee and it was delicious. $1.75 for a medium coffee is not bad and it's organic coffee which was nice to know. It really saved my butt since I couldn't brew coffee at home because our electricity will be off until 2:00pm today. I felt like I was dragging myself out of bed today so the coffee was perfect for me. I will definitely be back soon. My favorite coffee spot!! I never go to Starbucks anymore! I've lived in Elsinore for 4 years now and I just recently discovered this place. I wish I would have a lot sooner! I love that their coffee is organic. Great prices! It always tastes amazing! Such a cute little drive thru coffee shop. The owner is super sweet and I love going on the days when my favorite girl is there. I would put her name but I am horrible with names!! She knows my order by heart and I don't even have to tell her anymore. They have punch cards for every 10 coffees you get 1 free and they have "Double Punch Tuesdays." I would recommend not going when school gets out because they are packed and its awful trying to drive on Riverside Dr during that busy time! They close at 6pm. Very very impressed with the service and the new owner she was so sweet and made us feel so welcomed. New to town and she gave us a lot of information about this lil town when we asked. I've read some of these reviews about her and I can't believe during these times people would even have the gull to be upset over measly points and punch cards. How embarrassing for you. We love supporting local businesses and let me just say our drinks were perfect. I am on keto and they offered amazing Keto perk up with a sugar free s'mores and sugar free whip cream. My sister got their dragon fruit smoothie and said it was to die for. We will continue to support this business and we're grateful for their rewards system and will be sure to tell our family to also frequent this establishment when in town. read more

Went to this little hut this morning and was pleasantly surprised. First of all the prices are way easier to handle then Starbucks. And they also have buy one get on half off!!! Great deals for those of us that grab a coffee everyday on our way to work. And my favorite part is they do a light caramel blended coffee. It is so hard to find anywhere other than huge coffee chains that offer lower sugar and calorie options. The lady working was sooooo nice and even offered to butter my bagel for me! We need more places like this that actually treat their customers with kindness and appreciation. Definitely found my new coffee stop especially since they gave me am punch card!! read more

Came in this morning line wrapped around the building. The owner was so gracious had some of us pull over and ran our stuff out to avoid all of us waiting to long. I had an old punch card and she explained they had a new app and helped me download it once her line was down and fully explained it to myself and my husband. I have to say things are very different with the new owner and in my opinion 100% better. I use to wait in line 15 minutes and only 1 car ahead. I see these negative reviews about the owner and they must have not been very nice to her because she actually turned my horrible morning into a great day with her help. read more

I have herd of this place both good and bad things so i finally decided to try it out myself and see. Customer service isn't the best. The drinks could use some work in flavor and size and price. The size large cup looks as if its size medium and the drink itself could've been slightly better and the window situation is bit confusing?I like the idea of the little drive thru but that is a bout it. read more

Shaved ice! Heck yeah!!!…read more I'm not gonna lie. I got really excited when I saw this place because of the shaved ice. I haven't had shaved ice in the longest time. It's been years. I used to love getting shaved ice, so I absolutely had to try it at alpaca tea bar. I ordered the shaped ice with some condensed milk and my husband gave me a weird look and stated "eww why would you add that to shaved ice." lol those who eat shaped ice get it the condensed milk just adds like a creaminess to the dessert. I love condensed milk in my shaved ice. I got the red and green syrup. I loved my shaved ice treat! It was so good. It brought me back in time. My husband got a milk tea and he enjoyed that. He said the Boba was pretty good. I did order Boba in my shaved ice, but I didn't get the Boba for some reason that's OK. The shaved ice was still really good without it. The seating is a little basic with just a couple tables, a couple bar seats and a bench but it's not a large place. It was quite busy when we showed up with all of the indoor and outdoor seating taken, plus a line (good sign). We opted to take our items to go due to not having anywhere to sit. (By the time our stuff was ready we were able to score a table outside, woohoo!) I was a little bummed that I'd already had coffee that morning and ended up ordering some avocado toast. Thankfully my friend wanted to share a latte because it came out so cute! My avocado toast was delicious and they enjoyed their breakfast sandwich. The latte tasted great as well. My sweet tooth is strong so I also decided to take home a slice of carrot cake. The cake was moist and spiced with yummy cream cheese frosting, all of the things I love. Despite that, my drink came out within about a minute of ordering. The staff was easily the highlight of my experience. Everyone was SO sweet and welcoming, even early in the morning. It made such a positive impression on me. I ordered the Iced Hazelnut Latte and honestly had pretty low expectations since I've found that coffee around this area can sometimes be overly sweet. Surprisingly, the sweetness here was really well balanced. My only issue was that the drink tasted a little too milky and watered down for my preference since I like a stronger coffee flavor. If I ordered it again, I'd probably pay for an extra espresso shot. The coffee itself isn't necessarily a standout for me, but between the service and the drink surprising me, I'd consider Joyful Noise one of the better coffee options I've tried in the South Riverside County area. I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it, but I'd happily come back if I were nearby.

The interior has a really nice modern aesthetic, with plenty of tables and an open layout that makes the space feel comfortable rather than cramped. One thing I noticed was that there was quite a bit of smoke or haze inside, to the point where it was irritating my company's eyes. Hopefully that was just something specific to the day, but we did have to move from the second floor to the bottom floor. I tried the Cinnamon Toast Latte and the Watermelon Refresher. Both were decent, but neither really stood out to me. The latte had a nice cinnamon flavor, while the refresher was light and refreshing with a bit of a kick. There are plenty of tables, so finding somewhere to sit wasn't an issue. Most of the outlets were already occupied, though, so I'd keep that in mind if you're specifically coming here to work or study. Despite the size of the space and number of people, it was surprisingly quiet during my visit, which made it a comfortable place to get some work done. Overall, I liked the atmosphere and amount of space, but the drinks were more average for me. I'd come back to try something else, especially if the smoke issue isn't typical.

The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which sets a positive tone right away. The menu is impressively expansive--stretching nearly 18 feet across the back counter--and gives you plenty to choose from. After some deliberation we ordered the Coconut Matcha Cloud and the Banana Matcha topped with crème brûlée. The matcha is prepared in advance and poured from a large container (perfectly practical for a busy spot). The matcha flavor itself is quite mild, which some may prefer. The Banana Matcha was particularly enjoyable thanks to real banana pieces and a smooth syrup base, while the Coconut Matcha Cloud felt more authentic since it didn't rely on artificial flavorings. If you're used to stronger matcha or prefer minimal artificial notes, it's worth knowing this is a classic, approachable style of drink you'll find at many boba and Asian-inspired beverage spots. Food options are equally appealing. You can build your own bowls, and they offer some creatively designed fish-shaped pastries that stand out. Overall, The Poke Tea is a solid choice for a quick lunch or a pleasant drink on the go. Friendly service, a wide menu, and decent flavors make it a reliable stop when you're in the area.
