So glad we were recommended to check this place out. The quality of the food, the prices, and the presentation were all superb! I loved how each plate came with a couple of orange slices. It was nice to cleanse the palate with the juicy fruit. We ended up coming back the next day so I'll be reviewing a lot of the dishes here. What we got: Maple glazed donut - 5* the perfect fluffy donut. And large to boot! I was honestly disappointed when we finished it. Avocado toast - 5* got a over medium egg on it which was really the cherry on top. It has a good amount of seasoning on it but not overbearing. My first bite was a bit saltier than I would've liked but everything else was perfect so I think it was a fluke. Biscuits and Gravy - 4.5* a tad too much pepper for my liking but other than that this was perfection! Fluffy, buttery biscuit and delicious gravy combos make my heart sing. Loaded Omelet - 4* it was loaded! Hope you like your meat because it's packed. The eggs were surprisingly fluffy though a little overcooked. Fried Potatoes - 5* delicious and complimentary to the meal. Java Breakfast - 3.5* the eggs weren't the best, the sausage was fantastic, and the pancakes were pretty good. They were thin and fluffy. French Toast - 4* the French toast was really good, the black raspberry topping not as much. It was a bit too thick and gelatinous for my taste. The syrup that comes out with the meal is good though. Quiche - 2* my least favourite. I was really excited for this one and had high expectations. Unfortunately it was a thin and chewy quiche and lacked flavor. Fried pie (strawberry rhubarb) - 2* I wasn't a fan. The syrup was too gelatinous and lacked the flavor I'm used to when you have strawberry rhubarb. The inside looked like the syrup you get when you add too much cornstarch to thicken up fruit sauces. It didn't taste like cornstarch though so no worries there. Glazed donut - 3.5* (my partner says 4*) these are half priced if they're a day old. They heat them up for you if you want, which we did. It was alright but still good for being a day old. I'd choose fresh if it was available though. read more

Stopped in on our way from North Carolina to Alabama and was easily the best part of our trip. Tried their new holiday coffees that were phenomenal. Stopped here for a break from a long car ride along I81. So glad we stopped here for lunch. I had the chicken pesto panini- very fresh. My husband had the special of the day, the pulled pork sandwich. It came on a Brioche bun with coleslaw. He said it was perfect. The sandwiches come with a generous spear of real deli pickles. Those were delicious. You also get some chips on the side. They have cold lemon water out for the taking. It was very refreshing. Everyone was very friendly. All the lettuce is grown and sourced locally they even have micro greens on the salad bar, which is pretty unheard of. Currently on the last leg of our 11 states in 13 days road trip with our 3 young children - we have 7 road hours today before we get home. We went out of our way to go to Java Blend Cafe just now... and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Our kids are 5, 3, and 9 months old. They had a small room with toys, a kid table, chalk wall to draw on, coloring books... it was just what the kids needed - to stretch their legs and play! The service was great, as was the food and drink. I got a salted Carmel latte with almond milk - delicious! The monkey smoothie was also very good! My husband got the chicken bacon ranch wrap and strawberry rhubarb pastry and he said both were amazing. The kids had cheesy scrambled eggs and chocolate chip French toast- which they actually ate!! Lol. It's also a small gift shop with very cute things all priced surprisingly reasonable. Everyone who worked there was incredibly nice. We went to Java Blend Cafe because we missed Starbucks, so low expectations going in. We got a mocha, a caramel macchiato, green smoothie, and a fried rhubarb pie. They were all really tasty. The mocha was chocolaty, the macchiato was the perfect blend of cream, caramel, and coffee. The green smoothie was thick and tasty ( strong pineapple flavor), and the pie was sweet and crispy.
