My wife and I stopped in for lunch on our way to Memphis. The young lady who was managing the takeout orders was not busy and the to go section was right by the end of line and she noticed that, turned around and took our order. We haven't been to Jason's in years and we were happy we did. We both ordered the beef eater and after all these years it nice to know it hasn't changed. The beef eater was excellent and they still offer the free custard ice cream for dessert. read more

Another fine lunch at Jason's Deli in Texarkana! After I saw my Dr , we went to Jason's Deli. My wife ordered the Spinach wrap and I ordered the Club Royale.We ordered water as the tea had became expensive. Both sandwiches were delicious! Chips came with mine and my wife had fruit. It was noontime so there were a lot of partakers! The place look good. Maria the manager was kept busy with the orders and making sure the tables were cleared. Her daughter, Gisele, was checking out the to go orders. It is certainly a good environment in which to enjoy a good meal! I sat by the salad bar and it look great!! Dangerous. This was my family's first try at a COVID-19 in-dining experience. We won't be doing it again. First, the place at the end of our the sandwich making line where they put all the food waiting to be served is not protected. A customer not wearing his mask went over there and stood right over our unserved food that was sitting on a cafeteria tray. He leaned over and started barking orders about getting to-go boxes for his leftovers. The staff went to get his requested items while he stood there, barking more orders, leaning over the counter, and pointing to the servers as to which size or how many boxes he wanted. All this right over our food. When they brought our food over, I told the server that the customer was leaning right over our food without a mask. He dropped off our food, shrugged, turned around, and left. Wtf. Second the drink stand says to ask for a new cup for refills. No customers were doing that. I went up and asked for one. The server told me I didn't need a new one and I could reuse my old one. Um ok, but why put up the sign then? Never again. read more

I love their turkey wrap with avocados and they have really good fruit and it's really nice inside it.

Driving through Texarkana, glad we stopped in. I ordered a make your own sandwich and it was made perfectly to my specifications. It had a lot of fresh avocado that was not brown, lots of organic greens with turkey and Swiss on a croissant. Sandwich was delicious! Chips and fresh salsa we also great! read more

Food is okay but the restroom is "temporarily out of service" and the "apologize for the inconvenience." In addition to being a health code violation, it is far more than inconvenient. That information should have been plastered across the front doors or the register or anywhere else one could know this before committing to a course of action. Fail. read more

Once again, ordered curbside pickup, had to go get my food. Watched a lady assemble my order and bag it. Then she took her drink and sat down in the dining area. I came in and a guy who was in the dining area she had gone to asked me if he could help. He was headed back to the counter. He checked the computer and got my food for me. We visited the Texarkana deli today for the first time since we moved here, we are new to the area. We have enjoyed Jason's all around the country since 1992, this is by far the worst Jason's Deli we had ever been to and is without a doubt the last we will ever visit. The muffuletta was cold AND was turkey as opposed to ham and salami I ordered. The soup was room temperature. Upon departure we scanned tables and some were still dirty from the day before (we arrived at 10:50am). I believe the city should conduct a food/restaurant inspection. Stay away from this place unless you and yours like laying down $25 for crap food. read more

My comment today isn't about the food or staff both of which are excellent. I love their food!! The women's bathroom has been the subject of complaints for a while. Their is a light that's been out for a while. The towel dispenser is broken so the the towels set on the counter wet! Overall cleanliness is not the best in either bathroom. Will this stop us from coming? Of course not! We love Jasons! But Jason's you are better than this! Fix the items that need fixing. October 31st We ate lunch at Texakana Jason's Deli today, and I had the best pot roast melt sandwich! It was to die for!! The meat was so tender it melted in your mouth! The bread was soft and tasty. Texarkana, TX, Jasons Deli, was absolutely not only terrible, but disappointing as well. The order was Hot pastrami on wheat and DR. Pepper, 2nd order was smoked turkey on wheat, chips, mac and cheese. First off, the pastrami was refrigerator cold, DR Pepper, watered down. My turkey sandwich was poorly made, and bread must have gotten wet, it was soggy, the mac and cheese, must have sat next to pastrami, it was just as cold. Honestly the whole order was disappointing considering their prices. Conclusion, Fire House Subs is by far is the top deli sandwich restaurant. Thier sandwiches are made exactly how described as well as visually accurate with the menu illustrated photos, hot is hot and cold is cold. Thier staff is always polite and working, not standing around talking. Thier cleanliness is impeccable. I hate to even have to give a review like this, and maybe it's just the staff they had working today and there actually a lot better. IDK read more

If I could choose less than a 1 star rating, I would. I stopped in after driving 8 hours, just to have lunch. Ordered a salad, not the salad bar, but just a salad and water. No seating, not because they were full, but because there were no clean tables. There were 3 people behind the counter, 4 making food and one stocking the salad bar. 15 minutes later, I get my salad, with an item on it, that I'm allergic to, that if asked ahead of time, be left off. Walk-in deli, a cool, trendy sandwich joint with great offerings. Really good soup, awesome custom sodas, and an amazing salad bar. My sandwich was delicious, my drink was amazing, and my lunchmates all very much enjoyed themselves. Worst customer service. More review to follow. The gentleman concealed behind the counter is rude, unaccommodating, and consistently so. A server identified him as Casey Bradford, a shift manager. He is a scam artist and if you like meat on your sandwich, pray to the nine gods he isn't making it for you! Couldn't get an order right-twice. So, needless to say what was once our favorite sandwich place is now on our ban list. The quality of food is based on not just the quality of the ingredients, but on the skill of the preparer. Had extreme trouble with DOORDASH. The food was "delivered" without ever LEAVING the deli!. The woman on the phone tried to get resolution but could not that night. The manager DID the next day. Jasons deli is one of my favorite healthy resturants in Texarkana! I love getting a half salad and half sandwich. I get the Amy'Os avocado sandwich, or whatever it's called. All I know is that it's good. Anyways the waiters are always quick about getting the sandwich done and bringing it to your table. I've been living in the south for 3 years and it's REALLY difficult to find a place that serves fresh, healthy and delicious foods here. I'm really excited to have stumbled across Jason's deli for a variety of reasons. 1. they have a diverse menu and include the calories of the meals in their "eat lite" section; you can request to change the order to make it healthier too (e.g., use wheat bread) and they also have a nice food bar in the restaurant 2. they have a great online ordering service - you can order via computer or phone app 3. they're open everyday from 10am - 10 pm, including Sundays! 4. they're very friendly and the service is fast 5. the seating area is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated 6. t's been quiet and half empty the 2 times I went 7. they have a small breakfast menu... basically bagels and fruit - i wish they could add omelets to their breakfast menu My favorites so far are the Mediterranean wrap and nutty mix it up salad. read more
