Long story short, State Farm provided quite a generous amount for me to seek relief via massage. As such, I can go anywhere I want. Cost isn't an issue. So I did. The Four Seasons, Aria resort in Las Vegas, Spas in Arizona, Florida, etc. I also went to a number of Dallas-based massage studios. I tell you all this not to impress you, but to impress upon you that I can speak on this with some authority. No one, not one place I've been to, comes close to Cemetria. She is phenomenal. It is very clear that she's an outstanding communicator, has anticipated every client need, and more than anything, that she's passionate about her work and is astonishingly good at it. I could go on about her delightful studio, great sense of humor, careful covid considerations, joyful attitude -- but I suspect you're after a great massage - and let me tell you - there is no better - certainly not in Dallas and I would argue there's no better in the nation.

Chris is very off-putting and not very personable and I didn't feel very welcome at first but the massage went okay. I decided to go back a second time because I felt like it helped in some ways, but he really hurt me this second time. I could feel my shoulder blade popping a lot and when I winced he whispered into my ear just "you feel that?". Then he had the audacity to give me a hard time for having a "stiff neck" and said it was "all in my head". I have been feeling crappy all day the next day. I was trying to give him a chance but honestly he is rude and I think I can do better. He is not very welcoming to newcomers nor is he gentle at times. I would say that if he just kept his mouth shut instead of acting like a know-it-all, the process would have maybe garnered him 3 stars. Besides, if something were wrong, all he had to do was tell me to relax and help me with releasing more tension for him to work with. Don't give me flack for something that I can't help. I'm still nervous and new to massages as a way of therapy. Not a great way to keep a customer. I won't be coming back. Too expensive to have someone treat me like garbage and also make me feel bad too. Would give zero stars if I could!!!

I arrived and the lady at the counter told me about the lomi lomi massage, which is a little different from the Swedish massage. You are fully naked (my masseuse was very respectful to keep the lady bits covered at all time) and they use their elbows and hands to do a long flowing massage on your entire body It was very relaxing. She ender up using hot stones too for an additional $10 because my back muscles were very tense. An hour later and I was about to fall asleep and felt like jelly. With tip it was under $150. Money very well spent! This is a very quiet place and I have seen it in this location for many years (I used to go to the nail salon next door). I'm glad I finally tried it out! I will return!!

When I arrived, Jeannie was very friendly and walked me through the process. She has many years of experience, and I could really tell that she wanted to tailor my massage to me. Because the Groupon is strictly for the aromatherapy massage, she focuses on the whole body, but she definitely spent extra time trying to work my shoulders and upper back (even though she didn't have to) because I said that they were bothering me. From the outside of the building I didn't know what to expect, and the elevator to the suites was out of service. Upon entering, I could immediately tell the outside of the building didn't depict the inside at all--I'm talking immediate elevation (and my type of atmosphere). Grace and Niki own 2 suites and I was immediately taken to mine; it was nice, clean and had the mood I was looking for. I always request a firm pressure, and Niki did her thing. She massaged and stretched every part of my body and it felt great. I love a good combo massage (90 min minimum, by the way), but especially loved that she didn't walk too much on my body. Again, I love this about a combo massage, but some therapists do too much walking. Niki was also attentive to my congestion that arose during the massage, and provided oil (I think) to inhale to clear it up. Nice touch!
