I picked this place based on reviews, and being able to get in the same day. I sent a message on Yelp, and then set up my appointment via text. I showed up for my appointment and completed a one-page check in sheet about pains, etc. Then I was in my room, undressed, under the sheet in no time. I picked the Tai/Combo massage (from the website: techniques from Thai, Swedish, deep tissue and other styles). I was in heaven. The woman doing the massage rubbed on me, and was up on the table with me a couple of times to stretch and move my body around. It was all wonderful. My hour was up and I felt like jelly. At checkout, they gave me a bottle of water and that was nice. I am all for self-care these days, and this was a good way to spend $70 for an hour of Zen.

With that said, not only did I NOT receive a thai massage, they had me undress (which you don't do in thai massage) and what followed was the worst massage of my life. I booked a traditional thai massage, confirmed when I got to the desk, and then restated that's what I wanted when they found me fully clothed waiting. They told me THEIR thai massage had oil and I was to remove my clothes but keep my underwear on. I told them I just wanted a traditional Thai Massage. (Which shouldn't be in their business name and on their menu if that's not what they do?) I 1,000% know it is illegal to uncover someone's glutes fully, but that didn't stop my therapist from pulling not only the blanket down to my thighs, but also pulling my underwear (a thong which already exposed the sides of my glutes) down to my thighs, fully exposing my entire butt. Let me be clear, this is absolutely illegal and unprofessional, there is a law specifically stating you cannot do this. EVER. - not to mention I am a female and my therapist was a male. It was clear this therapist wasn't trained in hot stones (something else I'm trained in), and the massage itself was abysmal. If they were in massage school and this was their final, they would not pass. And they shouldn't have. Afterwards I again asked the front desk about ACTUAL Thai Massage and if they dont have thai massage where else does - they said that there's one woman on staff who provides it (who obviously wasn't available when I came in). I don't know why she didn't just tell me this to begin with instead of take my money and my peace of mind. I left here a thoroughly unsatisfied customer. If the (NOT Thai) Massage had been good, I wouldn't have been so upset over her deception. But to lie to me, and then get something so sub par? I would NEVER do this to a client. I'd give 0/5 stars if I could. And truly unless you know a therapist at this business that's actually good, I wouldn't recommend anyone go. I even came on yelp to read the reviews and thought it'd be a good choice. Nope.

Unfortunately, I just received a strange call today informing me that they had decided to cancel my membership. Because I can no longer lay down on my back due to a medical condition, I lied down on each of my sides to receive a back massage. Apparently, the masseuse could not keep the blanket over me the whole time which, according to their policy, constitutes indecent exposure. That was the reason they gave me to explain their decision to cancel my membership. The least they could have done is initiate a conversation with me to inform me of their policy first and try to find an arrangement to accommodate me! This is terrible customer service! I will not recommend this place to anyone!

I cannot find enough words in the English language to praise the wonderful experiences I have enjoyed over the past year. Each of the massage therapists have provided an amazing experience with true professionalism and respect. It goes without out saying that Massage Heights is very clean and relaxing. Becca is beyond compare. She expertly addresses all my concerns in the back, shoulders, and neck. She is also quite experienced in finding areas that need the attention and she knows just how much pressure to apply to relieve the discomfort. Becca is my go to therapist. I firmly stand by Massage Heights and Becca for their tremendous treatments.

When I first signed-up I was told that I had a month-to-month payment for a year, but if I'm unhappy at any time I can cancel. After many months, multiple massages, and trying two masseuses, I decided to cancel. I called and spoke to the front desk who spoke to a Manager. They told me that they would cancel my account, but I would be charged for another month. I would have 90 days to use up my final massage. The next month, I went in for a free massage credit I earned from purchasing a $150 gift card, and the Manager told me that they have no record of my phone call or cancellation the month before. The person I spoke to previously did not update anything in my account profile. They recently changed management, and the person I'm speaking to now is a new manager. She spoke to the owner and they would need to charge my account for another two months! At this point, I don't believe anything they're telling me anymore. This spa is very disorganized. Whenever I call or come in for a massage I see new people at the front desk and the managers have changed. My experience at this spa. My first Massage was with Tara. I had to pay an additional premium price to see her. And I did an add-on for suction cups. It was a painful experience. She beat the shit out of me, and the suction cups were too large for my body. I had to forcefully ask her to stop using them. My body was inflamed for days. I complained and they offered me a free massage. I had a second massage with another masseuse named Summer, and my first experience with her was really great. She focused on my target areas and released tension in my problem areas. This is when I decided to sign up for membership. I continued the months getting massages from Summer but something was off, and I couldn't immediately put my finger on it. After a while I realized that the massages were fine, but I felt like I wasn't getting a proper massage anymore. It wasn't the same as the first time. At every massage I had to ask her to go harder and use Medium pressure, because I couldn't feel the massage at all. I also noticed that the massage time felt very minimal. Most of the time was spent applying and removing lotion. I felt like I was paying for fluff or just touching instead of an actual massage. My tense target areas didn't feel like they were worked on. I've had many massages at other places, and this isn't what I'm looking for. Massage Heights advertise a 60-minute massage, but in actuality it's only 50 minutes, because they reserve 10 minutes for changing clothing. Then there is the constant upselling. Everyone is trying to push upcharges, like CBD, hot stones, etc. They're also pushing a 90-minute massage and even a secret item called the 2-hour massage. This makes the experience even more stressful. I did ask my masseuse if she had any specialties in massage. She said that she can do facial massages. I told her that I grind my teeth at night, therefore a TMJ massage would interest me. She said she can do that. I tried several sessions with her where I added on the facial massages for an extra fee. At first, I noticed that when I went to bed and woke up in the morning that my TMJ got worse. I even noticed it with Tara when she touched my face that it made my TMJ worse at night. Looking back, I realize that the face has many nerves and is a delicate area. However, I automatically assumed that the masseuses here knew what they were doing. Boy was I wrong! The last time with Summer, when I went to bed at night, it was so violent that I had to immediately book a massage with a TMJ specialist somewhere else even though I already had a massage. I'd never experienced such a violent bodily reaction from a facial massage anywhere else before. These events prompted me to remove facial massage from my next massage appointment at Massage Heights and then to cancel my membership. I really wanted to keep my massage experience to myself. I had no desire to talk about it, because every person's body and experience is different. It just didn't work out for me. Maybe it'll work for someone else. However, I do not appreciate the shady sales tactics this Massage Heights is employing, and I have no interest in getting another mediocre body massage, traumatic facial massage, and traumatic suction cup massage here.

I agreed because I thought it would be a more controlled, therapeutic technique, but it ended up being extremely intense and made the experience uncomfortable. This may be a good fit for someone who likes extremely deep, intense pressure, and I can't speak to their other types of massages, but I personally would not get the deep tissue massage here again.

Another amazing experience about this office is it's so easy to book your appointments. I used to think how can a chiropractor really work on you in 15 min or less but they can if they know what they are doing! Everyone is different of course but if you have pain and looking for help this place is a good start or finish if you're lucky.
