I cannot find enough words in the English language to praise the wonderful experiences I have enjoyed over the past year. Each of the massage therapists have provided an amazing experience with true professionalism and respect. It goes without out saying that Massage Heights is very clean and relaxing. Becca is beyond compare. She expertly addresses all my concerns in the back, shoulders, and neck. She is also quite experienced in finding areas that need the attention and she knows just how much pressure to apply to relieve the discomfort. Becca is my go to therapist. Massage Heights is part of a chain called Heights Wellness Retreat. They remind me of Snake Oil Salesmen. They sell and promise one thing but deliver on another. When I first signed-up I was told that I had a month-to-month payment for a year, but if I'm unhappy at any time I can cancel. After many months, multiple massages, and trying two masseuses, I decided to cancel. I called and spoke to the front desk who spoke to a Manager. They told me that they would cancel my account, but I would be charged for another month. I would have 90 days to use up my final massage. The next month, I went in for a free massage credit I earned from purchasing a $150 gift card, and the Manager told me that they have no record of my phone call or cancellation the month before. The person I spoke to previously did not update anything in my account profile. They recently changed management, and the person I'm speaking to now is a new manager. She spoke to the owner and they would need to charge my account for another two months! At this point, I don't believe anything they're telling me anymore. This spa is very disorganized. Whenever I call or come in for a massage I see new people at the front desk and the managers have changed. My experience at this spa. My first Massage was with Tara. I had to pay an additional premium price to see her. And I did an add-on for suction cups. It was a painful experience. She beat the shit out of me, and the suction cups were too large for my body. I had to forcefully ask her to stop using them. My body was inflamed for days. I complained and they offered me a free massage. I had a second massage with another masseuse named Summer, and my first experience with her was really great. She focused on my target areas and released tension in my problem areas. This is when I decided to sign up for membership. I continued the months getting massages from Summer but something was off, and I couldn't immediately put my finger on it. After a while I realized that the massages were fine, but I felt like I wasn't getting a proper massage anymore. It wasn't the same as the first time. At every massage I had to ask her to go harder and use Medium pressure, because I couldn't feel the massage at all. I also noticed that the massage time felt very minimal. Most of the time was spent applying and removing lotion. I felt like I was paying for fluff or just touching instead of an actual massage. My tense target areas didn't feel like they were worked on. I've had many massages at other places, and this isn't what I'm looking for. Massage Heights advertise a 60-minute massage, but in actuality it's only 50 minutes, because they reserve 10 minutes for changing clothing. Then there is the constant upselling. Everyone is trying to push upcharges, like CBD, hot stones, etc. They're also pushing a 90-minute massage and even a secret item called the 2-hour massage. This makes the experience even more stressful. I did ask my masseuse if she had any specialties in massage. She said that she can do facial massages. I told her that I grind my teeth at night, therefore a TMJ massage would interest me. She said she can do that. I tried several sessions with her where I added on the facial massages for an extra fee. At first, I noticed that when I went to bed and woke up in the morning that my TMJ got worse. I even noticed it with Tara when she touched my face that it made my TMJ worse at night. Looking back, I realize that the face has many nerves and is a delicate area. However, I automatically assumed that the masseuses here knew what they were doing. Boy was I wrong! The last time with Summer, when I went to bed at night, it was so violent that I had to immediately book a massage with a TMJ specialist somewhere else even though I already had a massage. I'd never experienced such a violent bodily reaction from a facial massage anywhere else before. These events prompted me to remove facial massage from my next massage appointment at Massage Heights and then to cancel my membership. I really wanted to keep my massage experience to myself. I had no desire to talk about it, because every person's body and experience is different. It just didn't work out for me. Maybe it'll work for someone else. However, I do not appreciate the shady sales tactics this Massage Heights is employing, and I have no interest in getting another mediocre body massage, traumatic facial massage, and traumatic suction cup massage here. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service!!! I had a double massage booked and I arrived when suddenly I had an unexpected emergency happen and had to leave! the lady at the front desk said they would have to charge me half the cost for the services and I explained that I would need to speak to a manager. I was literally in tears because again, I just experienced an emergency and had to leave. the manager was asked to give me a call or email me and has not done so. I attempted to reschedule and realized they charged me and I again called to speak to a manager. its been 5 days thus far and she STILL has not called me. this was my first experience and for sure a horrible one since there was not any attempt in resolving the issue and having empathy! I visited MHA recently, and received a standard 60 minute massage from Felicia. My therapist was great, and responded well to my requests to work on specific areas and the desired pressure I wanted. I had such a great experience at Massage Heights in Addison. I found their establishment through Groupon and scheduled a massage for my birthday. Life happens and I was unable to be seen on the day of my massage. The staff handled everything very professionally and made sure to get me rescheduled as soon as possible! When able to revisit the location, I was seen by Gina. AMAZING! I'm pretty sure I fell asleep a few times during the session - that's a compliment right? For the first time in my life, during a massage, she actually asked me if I felt any pain with scarring on my back (I've had it since birth and forget it's even there most of the time). Though there were no issues, I greatly appreciated her taking that into account and confirming my comfort. The establishment was well maintained, Ashley at the front was so kind and greeted me with a very welcoming manner, the massage table was WARM and the blanket covering me, almost like a light weighted blanket...I was relaxed to the max, basically. Update: My initial bliss of finding a great massage therapist (Gina - you are awesome!) led to the wonderful review above, but I am now 7 months into my membership and can say that I 100% should have thought twice about signing up for it. I have now found myself in the position of being charged varying amounts monthly for the same 90 minute massages (I have never deviated), all along being told I have "credits" on my account, and there is no way out of the membership contract according to the manager. If I were you I'd note the following before making any decisions with this company: - the "free" elevations are not free. Don't fall for this because they will charge you for the service and then act like they have no idea why you were told it was free - the receptionists will call or text, before nearly every appointment in my experience, asking if they can change your appointment time to maximize the therapists schedule. While I do want my therapist to have the best possible arrangement, it's the responsibility of the receptionists to book efficiently from the jump and I find it incredibly irritating that I am the one who ends up altering my schedule to accommodate this companies poor scheduling abilities - the receptionists in general need to be retrained. I have been given false information, including aspects regarding pricing, more than once - the membership price you pay is supposedly good for one 60-minute massage per month, but they neglect to tell you that you have to schedule the service after the funds have already been debited from your bank account monthly or you'll end up with a "credit" on your account for the massage. If I signed up for a monthly membership you would assume that I'm looking to have one massage per month, at my convenience regarding date availability, which would be covered by the fee, right? WRONG. If you book your monthly massage prior to the auto-payment date, you'll end up paying for your massage out of pocket. Don't get me wrong - you will have a great massage if you come to this facility. But I highly discourage signing up for the membership program as it will truly ruin your stress- free experience having to deal with the scammy policies deployed by the company and it's management. read more

Got a prenatal massage. I didn't feel like the masseuse read any of the notes in the lengthy intake form I had to fill out, or at the beginning where she asked where I'd like to focus. I clearly put x's on touching my legs and she kept going back there during the massage. Then I asked to focus on shoulders and back and she spent 80% of the time everywhere but there. She was friendly but if I'm going to pay $80 for a massage you'd hope they'd listen to the customer's needs. read more

I came in for a second massage at this location after such a great experience with the first one & the masseuse Felecia did a fantastic job! She took great care of all my sore & tight spots and even checked in with how I was feeling and asked about the pressure throughout the duration of the massage. The place looks neat and cool. Impressive front store. However, I am not going to give higher than 3 rating to this place at this point, except that the massage therapist who worked on me was really good and I will give him four stars. My last sports massage session was on 12/30/2021. I scheduled myself again for a January 3rd session at 5 pm right after my session. The lady in front ( Julie I think) confirmed my date and time, and I was told that I will receive a text message and a phone call for further confirmation. I received a call on Saturday at 4 pm adjusting my massage session to 4:30 pm of Monday 1/3/2022 and a follow up text on Monday morning and was told that the assigned therapist has another session right around 6 pm. I agreed to the adjusted time. Received a follow up text on Monday morning of my schedule at 4:30 pm. On Monday at work, I jumbled all my work schedules and finished-off all my deadlines by 4 pm so I could ran over to the this place for my sports massage. At 4:15, I was told that I was too early for my 5 pm session. Shocked as I was made to wait and figure out what happened with my schedule of 4:30. It took a while for the manager to come out at 4:41 and by then, I was calling my office to readjust the clinical conference at 5:30 pm so I can rejoin them since my massage session has disastrously messed up my schedule. The manager at this place attempted to explain the mishap, but by then, I have rejoined my failed zoom conference since they have reset the time to accommodate me. This is a case of no-coordination in the Massage Heights scheduling and a disastrous communication with clients. The Manager offered an extra time for my session and some perks but did not offer any other date but on the same day. At this point, I am not sure if this is the place that I should be bringing my business. The truth is, this whole schedule mess went to cause and effect in my work time table that I now need more massages to relax. What a worst Monday to start the week. On second thought, I just found out, there are quite a number of better-managed massage places in Addison. read more

This place is awesome! From the moment I walked in, I felt really comfortable. I've never had a massage before so I was a little nervous. They were extremely helpful with all my questions. My therapist was Jessica and she did so well on making me feel comfortable. I chose the Eucalyptus aroma therapy and I had a 1 hr massage with a hot stone elevation. Everything was wonderful!
