So we get started and her massage is mostly sitting on my back and moving her butt back and forth. Never had that technique before, and did not like it. Halfway through the massage she suddenly says she has to leave, there is an issue at her apartment. So she sends in another lady to finish the massage. I tell this other lady what a weird encounter my time with Anne was. She laughs and says she is rude to everybody, employees and customers. And she always makes up a lie to avoid doing the whole massage. Then she forces whoever finishes the massage to give her the entire tip amount. I won't return to this place. The second lady did a fine job, but Anne was HORRIBLE.

I came to see her a few days after Memorial Day, after a particularly stressful and distressing week. I also had stiffness and pain from sitting/sleeping in bad positions. Thus, I chose the 90 Minutes Massage. I'm SO glad I did. First, I appreciate the organized and succinct website. ALL important information is there, including Name, Phone, Address, Experience, Types of Massages, Pricing, and Acceptable Forms of Payment. I don't like digging around for that information, and it made booking my appoint easier. Second, Kim is a sole proprietor (as a previous reviewer mentions). I prefer small boutique spas and massages from independent masseuses. I always felt rushed the few times I attended a chain massage spa, but Kim gives you the FULL time for your massage. The room is very clean, with fresh linens, and no clutter. Kim is very warm and friendly. She obviously enjoys what she does, helping people feel better. She makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Third, the massage room has wonderful ambience. I love purple, so I was thrilled to see purple lights, and purple touches everywhere. The music is also very relaxing, not too loud or too soft. I think Kim is also blessed with a soothing voice, so that helps the overall mood, too. :-) And last, the 90 Minute Massage is one of the best I've had in a long time. What I like about Kim, is that she customizes her massage using various techniques. I felt her switch techniques when she came across a particularly large knot. Most importantly, she listens to you, if you need her to go deeper or harder, or stop if you feel any pain. I woke up with a little soreness, but no pain at all. The 90 Minute Massage includes Stretching. As someone who has done physical therapy for my knee, the Stretching really helped loosen tightness all over, especially my Achilles heels, hips, and IT band. I also want to mention that I have very sensitive skin, and I did not have any adverse reaction to the massage oil used. I almost cried in relief, when my massage was over. While it takes more than one session to get rid of all the knots, I feel normal again. I can't thank Kim enough. I highly recommend the 90 Minutes Massage for the Stretching alone.

I asked if I could do 15 minutes and 45 minutes instead of 30/30 and she said no. They ended up spending less than 10 minutes on the feet at the end. Very disappointing. During our massage, the lady's nails were too long so when I asked her to apply hard pressure, it was her nails digging into my skin instead of her fingers. This was not relaxing. At the end when my fiancé was paying, the lady said that his tip was not enough. I had asked him to not give a large tip, but he ended up changing his tip to more after she was standing over him while he was writing it in. Unbelievable. A great tip is for great service and this place did not provide great service! We do not recommend this place. Highly recommend going somewhere else!
