I'm extremely disappointed with my experience regarding prescription management at this office…read more I was down to my last two Lexapro pills when I checked my CVS app and saw that CVS had attempted to contact my provider three times without a response. I called the office on Friday to request my refill and was told it would be filled Monday since I had enough medication to get through the weekend. However, the prescription was not sent until Monday night, causing me to miss a dose. By Tuesday, I was experiencing brain fog, dizziness, and brain zaps. When I checked the prescription status, I discovered that my provider, Carlos Guerrero, had sent my prescription to Walgreens instead of CVS, despite me having clearly provided the correct pharmacy information. Walgreens does not accept my insurance, so I had to pay roughly three times my normal cost rather than wait another 48 hours for a transfer. This is not the first time I have had issues with prescriptions being sent to the wrong pharmacy. During the year I have been going to this office, my primary care physician has changed four times. Previously, Dr. Jesus Arena sent my prescription to the incorrect facility, and now Carlos Guerrero has made the same mistake. The repeated turnover and ongoing prescription errors have made it extremely frustrating to get consistent care. Lexapro is not a medication that should be interrupted casually, especially for someone who has been taking it long term. Missing doses caused significant symptoms that could have been avoided with proper communication and attention to pharmacy details. The front desk staff has always been kind and helpful, but the repeated prescription issues have been extremely frustrating and, in my opinion, unprofessional. After seeing other reviews mentioning prescription problems with this office, I'm concerned this may be a larger issue. If you rely on your medications being refilled accurately and on time, I would think carefully before choosing this practice.

I gave him Tylenol as they would there or the emergency and kept an eye on the temperature numbers ...my son also sounds like he has build up in the chest( my son has a murmur according to them) and was having some trouble breathing so... I have him some breathing treatment as well as his inhaler. This room tells me she can't see me until three and hangs up the phone. Then I call back and she yells in the phone we're not open til nine a clock and hangs up. I called twenty times and no one answered the phone... Then I was informed that a fever was not a fever until it was 100.01 So I made a complaint with my insurance as well as the medical board.... I'm very disappointed with the handling the situation.

I took my little one to Dr Nguyen after a bad…read moreexperience with Beach Pediatrics, I was sleep deprived and miserable due to my preemie's colic, acid reflux and inability to sleep more than 45 minutes at a time (this was at 6 months old) my previous pediatrician always recommended evasive treatments that made my little one more miserable... she ended up telling me that my little one just had a difficult personality (at 6 months old??) fed up and feeling pretty hopeless, I went to Dr Nguyen after a friend recommended her. To this day, I can say it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. Dr Nguyen got my Little ones acid reflux under control, which allowed her (and me) to sleep longer stretches at a time. But one of his staff is unprofessional, rude and disrespectful to patient. Before listening to patients, she responds with her negative responses. I was referred to a specialist by doctor Hing Be, the staff gave me name and number of only one doctor, which doesn't accept my insurance (Blue Cross PPO). When I informed this staff about it, she was irritated and responded rudely that I can choose any specialist and go anywhere I feel like. When I said that she should provide me the contact details of specific specialists for which I was referred to, she repeatedly told me that I could go anywhere I want and angrily asked me to wait to be called again. This is not the first time, she always gets irritated and responded rudely to my queries.

Visits rarely resulted in clear diagnoses or solutions, often requiring repeated appointments for unresolved issues. The final straw was my son being sick for over six weeks with severely swollen tonsils. Despite multiple visits and two rounds of antibiotics, there was no improvement and no proactive follow-up. On a third visit, we were sent for an X-ray only to confirm what was already visible. I had to call multiple times to obtain results, a school note, and guidance. Dr. Ha did not personally follow up, and no voicemail was ever left. When I calmly expressed my disappointment with the lack of follow-through, Dr. Ha responded defensively and snapped back rather than addressing the concern. Only after continued insistence was appropriate treatment prescribed--care that should have been provided earlier. Pediatric care should be attentive, responsive, and respectful. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience, and I would not recommend Dr. Ha.
