I was not only even seen by the doctor, she couldn't be bothered meeting us even though it was my 1 years old first time there, but I was told that if we didn't get shots the doctor wouldn't see us in the future. It's literally all they cared about. Safe to say we won't be back! Disgusted. I was totally pressured to get shots!! They didn't even ask about her eating, bottle use, binkys nothing! Horrible clinic. I used to love this place! I brought my daughter here for 5 years and my son for 2. I always had great experiences with the other two Asian doctors! Lovely ladies! Great front desk staff and the nurses are great too! But doctor B Hampton is awful. She rolled her eyes at me when I explained my concerns, she was quick to dismiss everything I said. Most unprofessional Pediatrician I've ever encountered. On my 1st visit with both of my children, this Pediatrician did not make a good impression. She was rude and unprofessional. She made assumptions and judgements about both of my daughters without fully evaluating them. Every question she would ask, she wasn't even looking at me but kept rolling her eyes. She then referred me to a development center for one of my children and I asked her what she thought she had, she just kept saying "you are going to have problems with the child". What type of comment is that? The office is staff is not the worse, but not attentive at all. There is no way I would give this Pediatrician a 2nd chance. Moved my toddler from UCI in Anaheim to this doctors office that my sister in law recommended me. I absolutely love it so far, we've been here for almost a year been seen 3 times and each time has been great. Office desk ladies are great, and nice. Drs are so amazing and listen to your concerns. Also have been times where I called over the phone to get some advice, and they are so great about that. They don't have you waiting forever for a answer. Honestly I'm looking for a pediatrician. I feel like she's been trying to find something wrong with my baby. Wants to send him for therapy for everything. First it was because of his head. Took him to a specialist she said his head is perfectly round doesn't not need a helmet. Now it's because he's stiff ? I'm sorry but he's not even stiff. He was sleepy since they take an Hr to come look at their patient. The place is not even busy. Oh then she's always saying he lost weight. In May he was 12 pounds June he was 13 and that's when she made that comment like how Is that loosing weight. I thought loosing weight meant is the number below not above... Dr. Hampton is the one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate pediatricians I have worked with and known. I have known her as a nurse in the hospital I work in, but probably her most important role is her care of my 2 grandchildren. She forms a relationship with her little patients and makes them comfortable. My grandson wants to be a doctor because of her. I absolutely love dr Hampton she is amazing along with her staff! I was recommended to her by my obgyn after I gave birth and she's been the best. It's very easy to make appointments her the nurse is very sweet along with the staff. I read that the receptionist aren't very "cheerful " but I enjoy that they aren't rainbows and unicorns they are very to the point. To me this helps the guest check in and out efficiently without holding other patients up. The office itself is very clean even though the patients can be very messy. What truly stands dr Hampton out from any other pediatrician is her devotion to her patients and their families. My daughter tested positive for Covid-19 at 2 months and I immediately called her office and spoke to the over night help and dr Hampton called me back immediately. Not only did she call me back the first night but she went out of her way to call me every night to help my daughter not only physically but helped me as her mom mentally and encouraging me. Once I was exposed to my daughter I got COVID-19 and not only did dr Hampton check on how my daughter was doing she also cared for me as well. That was the moment I knew we would be going to dr Hampton for not only my daughter but any future children. My daughter just turned 15 months and our appointments are still amazing! We went for her visit dr Hampton walked in to my daughter "reading" her book and dr Hampton got so excited she rushed out the room to bring my baby a new book then because my daughter has always been a fighter when she noticed she was a little stressed she helped calm her down and distracted her by giving her a moana figurine piggy bank and she loves it! In our visits never do I feel rushed any questions I have we discuss thoroughly with the dr. Any difficulties or problems I have I always discuss with her and she always has a solution. I have a very strong willed child with a temper so that means a lot of tantrums so dr Hampton gave us a referral to see a behavioral specialist and before I got a chance to call dr Hampton called me herself to make sure we received that referral. The over the phone nurse when you call the office is helpful as well any questions I have with my child for example I've been at the store lost and confused on what baby food my daughter needed and she walked me through everything. Also weening my daughter off they have been very helpful in what I can do to help what milk is best and even gave me a few samples. Dr. Hampton was recommended to us by my wife's OBGYN. We had never met her before, but put her down as our daughter's pediatrician when my wife was due to give birth at St. Josephs. One day after birth, Dr. Hampton came by to introduce herself and meet the little one. Instantly, we could feel her sincerity and warmth. She has a patient demeanor and speaks clearly and carefully when communicating. 2.5 months have passed since birth and we have visited her practice 2x. First time we went, there was hardly any wait and rather than meeting with her, we met with a Nurse Practitioner who was friendly and competent. The second time we went (2 month check up), the waiting room was packed, but we were seen about 20-30 min. after our scheduled appt which is not a long wait considering how busy doctor's are. The front desk staff isn't the most cheerful, but they get the job done. And there is one nurse there who is very efficient and caring - she administered our daughter's vaccines and did a great job. From the short time I've known her, I trust Dr. Hampton and would recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician. read more

The office staff is horrible ! I been waiting for a call back for my sons therapy for three weeks . I call back and they give me the number of a facility that dosent even take my insurance.I call them back again and they say they have to look and they'll call me back later. Every time we show up for appointments they greet u with a frown at the front desk. The doctor is nice but sometimes when you are tying to tell her something she just waits so u can finish so she can talk, and when you ask her questions she dosent answer them directly she just changes the subject .This place needs new front staff and a doctor that listens and answers questions properly. If I could I would give negative stars! let me start off by saying that she is sooooo unprofessional and rude. Has many complaints filed against her, including mine. She should loose her license! She will make threats against you if she sees that your child is just a little bit overweight or a little bit underweight. Had multiple family and friends that have brought their kids here and they have all said she makes statements saying she will report you to the social workers if you do not follow her advice or her suggestions. My husband and I are both ER nurses and are very familiar with working with doctors and the overall healthcare system. We were assigned Dr.Hampton by our OB and couldn't have been luckier or happier. Dr. Hampton is kind, genuine and truly takes her time with her patients. I was post partum and she was so kind and invested in making sure mom and dad were also doing ok :) When my daughter was 4 weeks old she developed a rash to her face and her staff accommodated us for a same day appointment. We were so grateful and due to treatment being started ASAP the rash was gone within a week. I haven't had a bad experience with the staff in the front thus far, and hope to continue a positive relationship with staff and MD. read more

Doctor Hampton left me so disappointed after my babys two month check up. She rushed it and didn't mention his progress and numbers of that sort. I'm left clueless. All I know is his current weight and length only because I was there with the nurse when he was checked for it. I can't speak of the other doctors but just by the environment they seem to care less as well! I think they're just in it for the clientele. I'm so disappointed and unpleased with that office. Super long review but please READ! I chose Dr Hampton because I had heard good things about her so my baby was born 3 weeks early and I was rushed to choose a pediatrician so I chose her she was very polite when she came into my room to check up On my baby very gentle and nice I went for her 3 week check up and I imagined her office to be a little different as soon I I arrived I notice that they were several patients waiting so I figured she was an excellent Dr my first appointment went well I can't complain about that Dr H gave me some great tips and answered the questions I had. I walked to the front (the desk right before the exit door) and I asked the girl that I wanted to schedule an appointment she just gave me a blank stare she looked like she was having a horrible day which is normal everyone has those days I got my appointment and left. Second appointment I went and the nurse weighed my daughter but didn't check her height until I asked that day my daughter had a diaper rash and I am a new mom and wanted to ask Dr what diaper rash she recommended since I had purchased one she explain to me the difference between them I thought it was strange because she had check her and didn't notice the rash. I honestly feel that she can do a better job I am not a doctor but I have seen how Dr's do check up on babies and children. Not once did she check my daughters ears, eyes, or mouth she only did simple basic things from the few times I went. The same girl who I had scheduled my appointments with was there every time I was there (I guess her job is to schedule appointments only) she gave the same look she has that rude look on her I noticed that she was giving me attitude she made me feel very uncomfortable she doesn't acknowledge you says have a nice day or how was your appointment nothing at all she has not customer service at all I don't know why she even has a job shes horrible for that office I also had an incident over the phone with her once too I had asked her to check if my daughter still had Insurance and she had said NO! Mmm ok? I asked to schedule an appointment and she said she had something around 9:15am and she was about to hang up and I told her we'll are you going to ask me for the patients name or the patients id number so you can verify if her insurance is still active and she said she already knew it wasn't active are you kidding me how do you know if you haven't checked?! Ugh I hate this place and not so much of the Dr but because of their service they have a lot of things they need to work on maybe Dr Hampton can hire someone to train their front desk with customer service. My review is not on the doctor.. Dr. Hampton has always been super nice to me and my daughter! And has been my daughters pediatrician since she was born, the reason I'm changing doctors is due to her rude and unhelpful front office staff. After every visit i walk up to the appointment desk to schedule my daughters future appointments and every time the blonde girl just stares at me, i always smile at her and say hi and i have to tell her i need to schedule an appointment... umm isn't it your job to make appointments? Obviously if I'm standing there it's to make an appointment. I don't think she's every greeted me and I've been going there for almost 3 years now! Also about 3 weeks ago they called and left me a message saying they needed to reschedule my daughters shots appointment because they scheduled a meeting for that time and to call back to see if we could come in earlier or on a different day. So i call back and they don't answer so i left a message.. ask me if they ever called me back to reschedule... NOPE! Oh and if your child gets sick or has pink eye don't call and try to get seen by the doctor cause they'll always say they're completely booked and to just go to urgent care. This happened to me today again i called because my daughter visited urgent care yesterday and they for some reason didn't notice she had pink eye, so she needs antibiotics so i call her doctors office to try and get seen and they tell me the same thing go to urgent care.. i tell them well she did go yesterday and they didn't prescribe anything for it and they tell me oh well we're booked maybe try tomorrow or call after 2pm... wth so my daughter is just supposed to walk around with untreated pink eye till you guys can see her?? Stuff like this happens constantly and I'm truly fed up. Go somewhere else that actually cares about your children cause this staff could care less and won't try and help you at all! read more

I like bringing my 2 kiddos here. Hampton takes her time and shes willing to do everything to make sure my lil ones are healthy. She walked out maybe once or twice without saying she was done seeing me but i dont mind it at all. Im a nurse myself and i work with a dr so i totally get it, shes in a hurry lol. But if i do have more questions i let the M.A know and Hampton comes right back in apologizing lol. Long but please READ! My daughter has been her patient since she was born. She is nearly 3 now and im finally changing Doctors. Dr. Hampton was, nice when we met her at the hospital and im in no way saying she is a bad person now. But, will say I got really upset after the fact that I asked her for my daughters records and a letter where she could just state that my daughter has suffered from constipation for a long time, basically since she was born. First i just gave my daughter prune juice then she decided to give me medicine. I needed this letter for a process im going through. We needed all our families records. So She called me and told me that she didn't think this letter would help me for anything because a lot of kids suffer from constipation. And i am very a ware of that. I just needed it. So she then told me in spanish "she has not lost any weight, actually shes fat! And thats not good! I can make a letter for obesity, but that would mean you are not doing your job right!". Yes it might not sound the same when your are reading it, but she repeated this a few times and in a very rude tone. She repeatedly called her fat and brought up the obesity subject over and over. First of all, my daughter weighs 34 pounds she is nearly 3 and is pretty tall, people thinks she is 3 1/2. She looks perfectly normal to me and to everyone else. No one ever says she is fat or even worse obese! Secondly the DOCTOR NEVER told me my daughter was overweight, fat or obese prior to this. And now that I asked her for a "favor" she brings all that up to me and I think that's very unprofessional and rude. And it wasn't even like I was asking her to lie, it was just a favor and I was going to pay. Even my own lawyer told me "since when is she a lawyer to say that the letter won't help you." I had considered leaving her before. Because of the rude customer service and the front desk by the blond girl. And I'm not the only one that complains about the girl you can see it in the other reviews. I'm not the type to complain actually this is my first yelp review because it really made my husband and I upset. I was willing to over look the rude girl at the front desk, but not this. I referred to my sister-in-law, my sister, and other friends and they all complain about the same girl. But I am no longer going to deal with either of them and their unprofessional behavior.
