I've been wanting to Jasmine Buffet for a year. I'm disappointed by one thing only, that I didn't come here sooner. When I'm out and about in Columbia this will be my go to for Asian Cuisine. An attentive and courteous staff is always a plus for any establishment. I tried a variety of food item and all of them were very well seasoned with exceptions of the steamed "garlic"green beans, they had an unpleasant flavor that I cannot place. If I had to compare the flavor I'd say dish water or similar to Cilantro. Other than that it was an excellent experience that I'd recommend to anyone. read more

Came into the buffet around 7:30pm on a Sunday. Not sure why but they started to clean up at 8 when the sign outside said they closed at 9.30pm. They even took away the soy sauce for my sushi!! Anyways...the sushi selection was small. For some reason, they stopped bringing in the other fresh food too. Hibachi was good since they had cabbage which goes well with any food. I give the restaurant a 2 because I was confused why they would put an out of order sign at the ice cream machine when I know for a fact it was still working when I had gone back for seconds. I ignore the signed and got the ice cream again. Btw...they also were cleaning the bathroom way before closing. I seriously felt being rushed out when it's not even near closing time. Overall, food was okay but service was not. Paid around $15 bucks per person with tip. read more

I'm sorry I went today(7-1-19) I wasn't that impressed. I'm a big hot and sour soup kinda guy, but there was no hot or sour!!! Bland to say the least. I'm an owner operator for the largest moving company in North America, been to some really sorry places and this ranks right up there with them. If you locals think this mediocre place is the bomb, you really need to get out more often!! Didn't find anything that was to die for, complete opposite, bland no flavor food. I have eaten at Jasmine many times and mostly always enjoyed it. I work nearby and it's a convenient dinner spot. Since Covid hit, the restaurant has really gone downhill they're only opening about half of their buffet which is understandable due to regulations about how long food can sit out due to the virus. However, if they're only preparing half the food then it should be at a much better standard. Today, it was ok at best. The worst part is the horrible smell of the bathroom. You should never smell a bathroom in a restaurant. Theirs smells like used feminine hygiene products or a port-a-potty, complete with the overwhelming cherry koolaid air freshener. You can smell it 20 feet away and the bathrooms are right beside the sushi. It seriously made me want to gag. I could not enjoy my mediocre meal because of the smell. This is not the first time I've noticed it but it was particularly bad today. The owner/manager used to always be present but you never see him anymore. Maybe he needs to check in a little more often. I won't be back for a while. read more

This was my first visit to infamous Jasmine's. Very nice building and decor the renovations they did was huge. The tables and both nice size, the buffet and hibachi grill is a nice treat. Buffet has a good selection and all items marked to let you know what you getting. Salad bar is good size/ selection of toppings, raw bar looked good to, desert consist of cakes and icecream machine. Out of all the Asian buffets I've been to, and I've been to a ton over the years, this is definitely one of the best, top 5 easily. The hibachi grill is delicious, the sushi selection is great and the overall buffet quality is above average. Probably the best Chinese buffet in Columbia. We've looked for a while for a good Chinese buffet and we found it! Food is excellent and the staff is friendly. Buffet has so much food to choose from. Just wish I would have been able to eat more. Went there around 4:00 on a Saturday and it was packed! My only complaint is the carpet was stained black! I thought that was the color it was supposed to be, but looked around the edges and carpet was a light brown. There was also cardboard on the floor coming out of the kitchen. Not sure what that was for other than to prevent staff from slipping? Good food, but wonder what their kitchen looks like? read more

Best Chinese buffet in Columbia! Lots of hot choices to choose from, and salad bar items that include raw oysters, fresh fruit and jello. Plus they have a sushi bar, hibachi grill, and dessert bar. Some of the standout items include the steak, chicken, and shrimp on the hibachi grill, amazing fresh garlic green beans, crawfish, salmon, dumplings with dipping sauce, and a salty and spicy lightly breaded and pan fried house chicken. My family and I eat here at least once a month and we don't even waste our time with other Chinese buffets because they don't even come close. read more

This restaurant/buffet is very nice and has plenty of food to choose from. The atmosphere is very beautiful it is decorated wonderfully and the food is hot and delicious. Its hard to find a Chinese buffet that has alot of good food so i was greatly surprised when the items that i chose were delicious. If your in the area please don't hesitate to stop by, its well worth the $12 for lunch. read more

The newly opened Jasmine buffet is new restaurant in which The Splendid China buffet use to be. It opened may 3rd. Its offers, dine in - buffet, sushi, and hibachi, take out and catering. They had several lanes of food. The sushi was fresh and you can make your own stir fry. The prices were decent. Lunch buffet $8/$9 and about a dollar more for dinner. The dining facility was decorated beautifully. I loved the decor. I was shocked by how classy it looked. The food was good, hot, fresh and flavorful. I would recommend going there. read more

I eat here a few times a month. It's a clean restaurant, with pretty decent food. The hibachi is good, and the buffet food has always been warm and mostly fresh. I'm not a sushi fan, but I would say for buffet sushi, it looks like it should meet expectations. The negative reviews I've read seem like they were expecting 5-star restaurant quality entrees and sushi. But it's a buffet. On the not-so-great end of Two Notch. NEVER AGAIN!! Only visit if its the last restaurant open in the ENTIRE WORLD! On top of mediocre food, the sushi is terrible, the price is too high and the customer service is abysmal! Was charged $18.99 for the buffet because it was Sunday, $3.00 pp. for gratuity (this is a buffet so providing drink refills cost $3.00 pp.). Tried to celebrate my Aunt's 83rd birthday but ended up being harassed throughout the celebration because the servers stated that they were one ticket/receipt short. I requested water with lemon and was told that I had to produce a ticket/receipt in order to get a glass of water. Ten minutes after I requested water, its brought to me with a single wedge. When I requested more lemon the waitress asked if I wanted Lemonade, I explained that if I wanted Lemonade, I would have requested and paid for Lemonade. The servers (?) returned to our table at least three more suggesting that someone hadn't paid and they wanted us to help them figure out who hadn't paid (I only had water so I wouldn't have had a ticket/receipt........smh). Needless to say, I REFUSE TO PAY SOMEONE TO HARRASS, BE RUDE OR DISRESPECTFUL towards me. I give this a 3star just because staff and the restaurant nice and clean and the food is ok. But as far as the taste and food selection goes eeeh nothing special. Typical Chinese buffet. I would recommend this place if you a mile away but definitely not worth a drive. Happy eating read more

This is the best sushi place I have ever been to. I know it is not a "sushi" place but the sushi chef was so nice and he made me the kind I wanted. And it was as tasty as expected. I come from chicago and the chinese buffets are known for being dirty as they would leave out food for days we joked. But I walked into the Buffet with low expectations and this place raised the bar I have for a Buffet. Now when I walked in the first thing I thought was the sign didn't do the place justice. Because the sign may look bland or cheap but I assure you that it is a trick as it is an amazingly clean place and everyone is friendly. I will definitely come back again!!! read more

The service was good and so was the food. There are several food stations in the restaurant. There is a habachi grill, sushi bar, salad bar, desert station, steak, Chinese foods and American foods. I especially like the sweet sour chicken. The honey chicken was good too. My sister loves the blue devil crabs which are fried. Definitely try the fried crabs when you go. I think they only put out the steak and blue devil crabs on the dinner bar. Call to see if they put themon the lunch bar. The price was very reasonable for the variety of foods you have access to and the quality of the food. They kept the food on the buffet fully stocked at all times. read more
