Januzzi's Shoe Store is a very special place, not only for their personalized service, but for its owners' ability to stay the course for those of us with feet issues. This does take time for the Januzzis and the customer to achieve the desired outcome...walkability without pain in every step. Yes, an appointment is requested to allow for the individualized care and service you will need. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. We would never walk into a doctor's office, and expect to be seen, without an appointment; it is the same principle. I might add, it is the same care and concern given. Also, the owners have an incredible amount of stock and hard to fit sizes. If they do not have your size/width, they will order it straight to your home. They do have a return policy. This is not your self-serve factory we have become accustomed to, but it just might be that personalized service we remember as a child. And yes, Jacuzzis was in business way back then, and even before that I encourage you to visit their establishment - with an appointment - especially if your feet hurt or you want to keep them from hurting. Wont be back there !!! The owner charged me an extra $20 for the time he took with me trying on shoes !!! Never heard of this before !!! I asked if they support Military discounts at check out ( which I'm a Veteran " Vietnam " ) He said yes , but here's how we work the time spent with you is an extra $20 ..... This was the first time visiting Januzzi's Footwear I wasn't sure what to expect because this shoe trip was for my 7 year old son since he very large he has big wide feet and I was tired of going to big chain stores looking or having to buy any pair of shoes off the shelves with me having to guess what size and finding some proper fitting! That's one of the main reasons I chose Januzzi's is because you get a professional person to measure and fit your feet ! I know they mostly cater to older adults especially ones with feet issues but Mr. Januzzi himself helped take care of my Autistic son who was kind of scared because I never had someone measure and fit his feet before but Mr Jacuzzi made him feel at home and we ended up finding and buying a pair witch my son was extra happy about! Wide feet and the lack of a catering shoe store in my town made me seek this place out. My advice: Don't bother! Brought my elderly, legally blind mother there for shoes for her. She could not see the wait to be seated sign (really? it's a shoe store!) which drew snide comments from another customer. Staff there were not much friendlier. We felt like our presence was an inconvenience. Mom ended up ordering a pair of shoes. Ordering, you ask? Yes, they were out of her size. The shoes cost $175.00 plus $9.00 they charged her to ship them to her which I thought they should have eaten since they were lacking in stock. Here's a question: why not have them shipped directly to customer? Make a special consideration for the elderly and disabled who obviously can't easily pop in to the store to pick up their shoes. Made a 40 mile trip there that we won't make again. read more

Very attentive staff like an old school shoe store. Their shoe selection is great for people that have various foot issues or trying to avoid them. People with diabetes or that work on their feet should definitely check them out. It's hard to find shoes that address those specific issues. They have a fantastic selection of Alegria brand shoes. You will find everything from traditional black/brown/white colors to fun and funky prints. The shoe brands they carry are not cheap but I have no problem buying them when the result is happier feet. Cheap shoes lead to foot issues and wear out fast. These shoes will last for many many years. read more

If you have hard to fit, sore, or problem feet this is the shoe store for you! For the past couple of months I have suffered from a very sore heel, most likely plantar fasciitis. I tried heel cushions in my shoes and finally nothing worked. I'm going to Disney World in a few months and I was getting desperate wondering if I'd be able to walk around there at all. I've driven past Januzzi's for years and finally decided to go in and give them a try. Oh my goodness, the sales people there are so knowledgeable. A gentleman helped me and another fitter checked my shoes before the final sale. They were so helpful and it was great getting the attention I needed. I settled on a pair of walking shoes, slippers, and a heavenly insole. In just one day my feet feel like new. I'm so grateful. I could not have dreamed the difference a good supportive shoe could make. I'm sold on this store and the folks that work there! Thank you Januzzi's! read more
