I requested these things to be addressed and they were always kind but continued to not follow through. I want a consistent team that does everything so how do not need to inspect.

I really appreciated their efforts to restore trust and ensure their service is done fairly and to satisfaction. I would absolutely do business with them again as a result! *** This review is from service about a year ago and I never got around to posting it. I wish I could put more stars. I scheduled a maintenance service at my home while my tenants were there, and everything seemed smooth with initial communication and visit start. City Wide arrived, spoke to one of my tenants, explained they had to replace the air filter (a K&N reusable one that her husband had bought), and then proceeded to do their work independently. When they were done I was told they left from where they were in the backyard and never provided notice of their departure. Come to find out, the air filter vent in the home has non-standard dimensions, so my tenant's husband said they shoved a new air filter in there and it looked very shoddy indeed. After calling and expressing my dissatisfaction, I felt only then was I given a narrative for what had happened. My impression was, they didn't think it's something that would be noticed or needed explanation, and that is cause for concern. They did come back and fix the problem, this time with my sister supervising the visit. Happy to say, they did educate her on what they were doing and fitted a new filter to the vent. They also did a very good job cleaning the outside unit during the first visit, for which I was grateful.

And they didn't talk our ear off as they worked and didn't "shut down" their work to take personal calls. That's important to me. Oh, and just one more thing, they really are all that and a bag of chips! And at a very reasonable price for the value of their work. Thank you, gentlemen, Mike

Buyer Beware!!!! $110 to press a button my tenant did not know existed…read more They said I was paying for their knowledge. What tipped me off that this was going to be a bad deal from the beginning is that the individual I talked to over the phone did not know what an AFCI was (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter) as opposed to a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter). I contacted this business to inquire if they were certified electricians, and they confirmed that they were. I then asked if they were located in the City of Banning, and they replied that they were based in Moreno Valley. I scheduled an appointment, and they arrived to inspect the issue. They pressed the button on the GFCI outlet, which my tenants were unfamiliar with. They attempted to charge me $400 for this simple action. I found this amount to be outrageous and informed them that I would contest the charges if they proceeded. After negotiating, I was able to reduce the charge to $110, but even this amount seemed excessive. While I understand that they should charge for at least a service call, they insisted on a minimum of two hours of labor, which they had not disclosed upfront. Be cautious when dealing with this business. They claim to be certified electricians, but they are actually electrical contractors who hire certified electricians. This means you're not only paying for their arrangement services, but also for the electrician's time. Why not go directly to the electrician and eliminate the middleman? MGS's reply lacks transparency and does not provide a precise explanation. In response to their defense on this very review: Yes! I did say I'm OK with it and I paid $110 to them for pressing a button that literally took 10 minutes or less. But that is after I had to threaten to contest the charges of MGS wanting to charge $440 for 10 minutes of work. Ridiculous! I 100% wholeheartedly stick by this review! And again buyer beware!
