What went well? Everything! Janes followed up phone call, scheduled soon, were very competitively priced and showed up on time. They were well-equipped, listened carefully and followed through with every request. Their friendly crew was very safety conscious, worked efficiently, noticing things I had not and cleaned up well. They were very careful with all my yard art, moving it out of their way and returning it to their original locations. What they accomplished in a short amount of time was amazing. Our large pin oak was in need of a hair cut. It's branches nearly touched our cars as we drove into the drive way. We've used Jane's quality Tree Service in the past. I couldn't find them on Yelp...long story short...Angie's list is useless. We got a few phone numbers, before I promptly canceled my Angie's List subscription after joining a few hours earlier. I started calling tree services, and Jane's was the only one who returned the call within reasonable time. A few days later, Jane's tree Service was out near Arrowhead, and came by, and got the job done. They removed several imposing branches. They trimmed our tree, mulching the trimmed branches. They were prompt, quick, and did a great job. They charged $300, but it was worth it. I think there are cheaper tree services, but no one would call us back. Jane's is certified in the tree business, which is a plus. And to Angie's list....sorry Charlie, unimpressed. read more

Had them remove a 50+ foot tree right next to the house and fence. Got 4 bids, and Jane's was not only the best price, they were the only company that offered a military discount. Excellent job. It was like the tree was never there. Wood Fence had to be removed to get access to tree. It was put back like it had never been touched. No branches remained and they raked the yard. My boss at the school district I worked for hired Jane's to do their tree work and he was thrilled with them, so when I needed several trees removed and others cleaned up at my house, I called them. Richard (the owner) came out and we went over all I needed done. He gave me a very fair price and when his crew came to do the work, each and every one of them were awesome! They were never goofing off or taking breaks, but instead each of them worked non-stop. They did everything I asked for, including a few extras such as cutting up a little bit of firewood for me. They were all very friendly and professional, taking great care not to tear up my yard or flower bed. Their work ethic is incredibly impressive. Janes Quality Tree Service - is awesome. I struggled finding an affordable company with insurance to cut down a tree located between our house and the neighbors house. I got 5 bids/estimates some of the bids where crazy expensive, one wanted cash on the spot - Janes Quality Tree was very competitive, they looked like clean and wholesome folks, i called and verified they had insurance, hired them and they did a FANTASTIC JOB - stump grinding, clean up the whole bit.
