Relying on these statements, I proceeded with PowerDry. - After the work was completed, I was shocked to receive an invoice for $13,056--well above the signed bid maximum of $11,079. When I asked for clarification on why the costs were nearly double the lower range initially promised, they could not provide a clear explanation. They admitted there were no unforeseen complications or delays but simply repeated that the charges were "industry standard." This directly contradicted PJ's assurances and the written bid, creating a strong impression of misleading and opportunistic practices during an emergency. -Additionally, during removal of the basement trim, PowerDry caused damage to my drywall that was unrelated to the water damage.
