I've been going to jams foe years and I've never had a problem until recently, I ordered food through Uber eats about a month or so ago, I choose to pick up the order. When I got there 45 minutes later when they said the food would be ready it wasn't and it stated on the app the food had been confirmed and the order was being prepared. Upon my arrival they said they never received it and the said oh wait it had been printed and left so I had to wait an extra 30 minutes for food and when it was brought to me only a quarter of my order was packed and I had to wait even longer. Flash forward 3 weeks I decide to give them another chance they forgot an extra side order I place no biggie figured they were busy things happen. Then today today I order again 10 dollars extra in side and once again NOT In order. I'm called the restaurant get a call back from the owner swearing up and down they packed it called my door dasher and sage said they only gave her one bag. So there is no way the food would have been dropped or misplaced. After almost 4 years I'll never been ordering from here again. And let's be clear I tend to use DoorDash quite frequently because I won't from home I have kids and I've NEVER had this problem before I've never been missing food for any order I've placed. I will never go back. The service was the worst we've experienced in a long time. When the waitress came to get our drink orders, we said we were also ready to order our meal. She said she couldn't do that and would have to get the drinks first. My wife ordered coffee and water. She brought the coffee but no water. My wife asked a second time and still no water. When our meal came, we had to ask for our toast that she forgot. She blamed it on the cook. Then we had to ask for silverware and my wife , again, asked for water. Never got the water. I have been going to Jam's for more than 2 years and since the ownership changed just recently things have really improved. The gal that has bought this business has really turned it around, The food and service has totally changed from the previous owners, who didn't seem to care about the customers. The new owner's name is Debi and she makes sure she personally visits at every table to welcome visitors. The food is now off the hook delicious, presentation is really nice. The prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend if you have not been there before you try it and if you have before that you stop in and check it out. read more

i've only been here successfully once and had the breakfast, it was good. so i decided to go back another time and the service was terrible. didn't even get to order anything because we walked in and got sat right away but then was just sitting there for like 20 minutes no greet or anything before i had to go up to the woman who sat us and ask her if 1. we could still get breakfast (bc i seen on the menu it said only until a certain time but when we walked in it was before that time and the amount of time we sat there being ignored it went over the time that they stop serving breakfast) she looked at the clock so she knew it was after the time and still said yes that we can get breakfast still, which ended up being wrong. so then i said okay good bc that's what we came for and then i asked her 2. if our server was gonna come over to us any time soon or do i place the order with her at the front. she said let me go grab her and i heard them around the corner talking and the server was baffled that she had been sat but don't you think as a server you'd keep an eye on your tables so you know when you get sat...? especially when it was as dead as it was. anyways so she finally comes over and gets our drink orders and i tell her we already know what we want to eat as well and i'm under the impression that we can still get breakfast because that's what the lady at the front who sat us told us. so i say i just want a bacon egg and cheese bagel and she says that they're not doing breakfast anymore all the breakfast stuff is put away and that they're doing dinner (which was also wrong information bc on the menu it said dinner started at a time that it was not even that time yet. so you're not serving breakfast after the time stated, but you're serving dinner before the time stated!? how does that make any sense) so i just told her okay well the lady up front told us we could still get breakfast so why are you saying we can't and all she could say was "i don't know why she told you that bc that's wrong" i just think it was ridiculous bc like i said when we walked in and got sat it was still before the time ended to get breakfast and it wasn't OUR fault we sat there for 20 minutes being ignored which made it go over the time that we could get breakfast, so to fix that situation as a server i would've said "my apologies i took so long to acknowledge you guys were sitting here for 20 minutes before i came over and even greeted you so i can still do that breakfast order for you." mind you there was literally 1 other table sat in the restaurant. so it's not like it was busy or anything (i'd hate to be there when it is busy if that's the kind of service you get when it's completely empty) anyways i just wasn't happy and being pregnant and hangry isn't a good mix so we left and went to caffè connection across the street and it was soooo much better, so worth it, and even the service was great too (the strawberry mango smoothie or any smoothie honestly is amazing from caffe connection btw) read more

Visited on Friday, 3/25. Basic (At least that was my impression after eating brunch here) I was with my mom and grandmother (they had dined here before for breakfast and liked it) and wanted to try this place out for brunch. We were seated immediately and given menus. They cover the basics for breakfast and the typical salads and sandwiches for lunch. They only have one soup which changes daily so you have to ask what they're serving. Luckily on Friday they had Italian sausage and tortellini soup. I ordered a cup of that and half of a corned beef sandwich. My mom ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and my grandmother, a greek salad. Our wait time was normal. When we got our food it looked good and the portions were big. My soup was good and it tasted homemade (I was wishing I had ordered a bowl). My half-sandwich was just meat on dry, toasted bread. I asked for cheese on it and I figured they would MELT the cheese but no, they just slapped a sad, cold piece of provolone on it. There was nothing on the bread as far as a condiment either which I thought was weird. I took two bites of it and brought it home for my dogs who would appreciate it. My mom's grilled cheese looked like they literally put two slices of Kraft American cheese on the bread and called it a day. She said she liked it though so okay....My grandmother's greek salad was huge and piled high with lettuce, spinach, onions, and feta. She was happy with it and I would say overall, it was an okay experience. Service was not that great but of course that can be a win or lose situation. I would give this place another go. read more

Really a basic joint with super dates interior and totally uncreative food. I don't mind old and dated feeling but their situation is not overcome by a good a good product. I would rather pay more money for a better meal if I had the choice. Overall my meal was something close to what you could whip up in 4 mins before rushing out the door to work. Love this place. I go with my bowling league every Wednesday. Not a fan of the omelette but their chef salad is to die for. Ingredients are so fresh and crunchy. Today I brought my picky Husband and he loved his chicken wrap with fries and cole slaw. Next visit will be the chicken salad stuffed tomato. Love our server, Amber. She is amazing. Was very disappointed at my visit to Jam's this morning. My husband and I come in pretty regularly and always bring our Hazelnut flavored coffee creamer to make a great start to our day... To our surprise, after being seated at the table, the hostess said that we could not bring our own creamer into the restaurant. WHAT??? since when can patrons Not bring in a flavored creamer for their coffee???...We asked to speak with a manager and He too said that we could not bring in our creamer!! UNBELIEVABLE !! Especially When They Don't Offer Any Flavored Creamers)!!! Needless to say we got up and LEFT!!! We were meeting our friends there, so as we left we called them to meet us down the road at a FABULOUS restaurant called MY FAVORITE CAFE....Where we were graciously welcomed at the door and ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM WITH OUR CREAMER!! We had a tire blow out on our way through town and had to stop at the Goodyear next door and the men at Goodyear recommended Jam's for brunch. The Hungryman breakfast was awesome and enough to feed two people. The eggs were cooked to a perfect "over-medium" as requested. If you eat here, make sure you order the sausage links. They are huge, juicy and also cooked to perfection. Kudos to the chef. It is not uncommon to eat at a breakfast cafe where the food is overdone or microwaved to warm it up and that was not the case with Jams. We highly recommend this little cafe and will be sure to stop in ourselves next time we are in the area. read more

I would have given them 5 stars, but there is always room for improvement. We have been eating here since they opened. We know the owners, the cooks, and the waite staff. We have followed the ladies from other restaurants to this one. The food is delicious. The soups are great. They should have lines out the door and I can not figure out why not.
