Communication before the appointment was prompt, clear, and professional, which made the whole process smooth. I purchased four hours of service and paid a bit extra to have the inside of my oven and fridge cleaned--it was so worth it. Yvette arrived early, was incredibly kind, and got right to work. The kitchen took extra time due to the inside oven and fridge add-on, so I ended up paying for additional time to complete my bedroom. She worked thoroughly and efficiently the entire time. One thing to note: they do not bring their own cleaning products, but they provide a clear list of what to have ready. That made prep easy and allowed me to choose products I was comfortable with. By the time she was done, my home felt so clean and beautiful. Every room looked refreshed and cared for. You can tell they take pride in their work, and that made all the difference. I highly recommend this service. I had originally planned to buy a Groupon - how I found out about Jamroe - but looked up reviews, and some said to go directly through them for better results. So I did, and boy did I get them. They generally have a promotion for new customers, and had an even lower promotional price for teachers. (YAY!) So I bought a 4 hour cleaning because my apt was literally a hot mess. Yvette was on time to the minute, and she was both miraculous and 100% meticulous. My apartment looks and smells brand new. I ended up needing to purchase 1 more hour for her to finish (like I said, it truly was a hot mess), and that was easy enough. Things to know: 1) Look up their website and find the contact #s. 2) You can call, but you will need to use the text # in order to do the booking. This will also be your receipt, which you will want to screenshot and save. 3) The cleaner does not bring their own supplies, the service will give you a list of what they need when you book, make sure buy what you don't have. 4) I looked up tipping rules, 15-20% is the norm. Absolutely terrible service and dishonest managers. The house keeper left my floor greasy and sticky as well as clogged my toilet with a sponge. She then claimed nothing was flushed down the toilet but I was unable to flush or unclog the toilet myself. I had to call the plumber who then found a sponge which was the cause of the problem. The manager then kept blaming the greasy floor on my mop, which I used and cleaned everything perfectly AFTER the cleaner left. Stay far away from this company. Beware if using a Groupon. I was gifted a Groupon gift card and was interested in using it for house cleaning services because I'm a new mom. I called Jamroe before purchasing because I mainly wanted help folding our laundry. I spoke with someone that said that I couldn't use the Groupon for that purpose but that I could use the Groupon and add on hours for laundry. The woman mentioned I could purchase 4hrs of cleaning directly through them for $85 and use those four hours for laundry. I honestly did not understand the difference; if I was paying the same amount for the same amount of hours why could I not have the same service performed just because I paid via Groupon vs directly to Jamroe. Groupon does not dictate how the services are rendered but I digress. Then without signing up or purchasing the Groupon I started receiving text messages from Jamroe. They were offering $85 for four hours of cleaning for six months. After speaking to my husband I actually thought that was a great deal but I still wanted to finally use up my Groupon gift card and was willing to add on additional hours for laundry. I text them back asking to pretty much schedule the cleaning. To make a long story short it pretty much seems like they don't prefer people to buy their Groupons. I was questioned via text about what services I wanted after clearly stating what I was requesting. When asked for their next available appointment ASAP, I was told I had to provide the Groupon voucher code before they could schedule. So I went ahead and purchased the voucher BUT on Groupon it specifically says once I viewed the voucher I couldn't change or exchange it. It also said to only redeem upon arrival. Which makes sense, why would I redeem the voucher (basically pay) before receiving my service? When I mentioned this, whomever I was texting was just very combative saying that they needed the code but would look for their next available appointment (without the code). Then they mentioned I had to pick a date I wanted service because asking for their next available appointment was not sufficient? So I said tomorrow! Of course tomorrow was not an option (duh) that's why I just asked for their next availability and I would have just taken it! But noooo!! You can't use the service the same day, the next day or on weekends! None of that was listed in the fine print or confirmation email on Groupon. It took too many emails just to find out their next availability was next week. I just took it as a sign that dealing with this company was not in my best interest. Canceled the Groupon and quickly rebooked with another company that made me an appointment for Friday. I added on extra hours quickly as well for laundry. read more

I told the representative I could not get a refund through Groupon because it is NON-REFUNDABLE. The representative could not understand and kept trying to negotiate a side deal. Only use this company if you want to clean after the cleaner leaves as I had to do because of her crappy job. I added photos of my sweeping and mopping right after she left my home. I've been a customer of this service for well over 3 years. Despite a change in their booking policy (they asked that you submit payment 24 hours ahead of your service, then it moved to 5 days ahead of your service) and their questionable customer service, I enjoyed my cleaning lady. Last year we rescheduled a last minute service because we tested positive for COVID. Today, we tried to reschedule 24 hours ahead of our schedule because my husband has the flu. We were not asking for a refund, only that we are able to move the appointment back by one week. The customer service person told us that we could NOT reschedule and we would NOT be issued a refund. When we pushed back (because we were actually doing the right thing in making sure that we quarantined) they told us that we could reschedule but we would have to pay 50% of the service fee. For what? After being a customer for over 3 years, we've only rescheduled once. One time. We had a recurring monthly appointment, which obviously meant nothing to them because they chose not to be flexible and do the right thing.  Keep your sanity. There are so many other companies who have ethics and morals when it comes to operating a business. read more

i purchased a voucher via Groupon and had a similar issue that a previous reviewer had. when they asked about the size of my apartment (that was the correct size via the groupon purchased), they said it only applies to one bathroom, and then tried to get me to spend $180 additional to have my apartment cleaned, saying that my apartment is unusually large (not so). For reference the fine print of the Groupon says nothing about number of bathrooms, only number of bedrooms. I would not trust them to come into my living space. Scam. read more

Terrible cleaning, terrible customer service. Cleaner did a v bad job of dusting and removing pet hair, etc from the floor. Somehow did not use the bleach I bought for the bathroom at all, and so unsurprisingly the shower was not done well. She also ended up doing the dishes even though this was specifically not in the description of her services. The dishes were left with a film/scum on them for some reason. I had to leave an hour and a half before she was done, when everything was looking ok (did not have a chance to check dishes), which I told her and left a tip. When I saw how bad the apartment had been cleaned, I complained about this to the company and they said that the cleaner did the dishes "for free" even though they themselves acknowledged she was not supposed to do them! And it was impossible to explain to them that I did not do a *final* walkthrough, which they kept claiming I did, ignoring the fact that I left before the cleaner was done. Now, perhaps I am an idiot and should have waited around until she was done, but somehow I was hoping that the job would be finished up before she left, which it was very much not. In summary, do not use this company, they will provide a bad service and then be unapologetic about it afterward. Very much not worth purchasing their Groupon. read more

This is a horrible company. Their cleaners are not very experienced, you will always need to monitor them. When they cleaned the bathroom, they didn't clean the bottom part of the toilet and there are still spots on the bathtub. They will cancel your appointment if you tell them the situation. Gerline & Shantel from Jamroe did a really excellent job. They were very thorough. They really scrubbed my showers and tub! They also scrubbed the tiles on the walls in my bathrooms, which other cleaners have overlooked before. They were careful to ask how I wanted crowded shelves cleaned. I wasn't able to call until after office hours but they texted with me to set up an appointment and I was able to get one the very next day! Shantel cleaned our apartment, and she was fantastic. She cleaned our windowsills, our dusty corners that we'd been avoiding, that random spot on the bathroom floor we couldn't seem to figure out how to get rid of - she did it all. Found this cleaning service on Groupon. Setting up an appointment via text was a bit confusing, but that was cleared up. Had an appointment scheduled for a Friday. Received a text from Jamore cleaning because they had a cancellation for Monday which was a holiday. There is an additional fee for holidays. My appointment was changed to four days earlier and they honored the price I already paid, i did not have to pay the additional fee. Too much joking around/almost making fun of the fact that I was a little frustrated with all of the things they did not include. I was given a voucher for cleaning as a birthday gift. It was for 4 hours for a 2-3 bedroom. When I called to redeem I was told my voucher was invalid because I have 2 baths. The voucher didn't mention the number of baths but even if it did, I told them they can just clean one bathroom. Then other parts of the apartment such as the kitchen, living room area and the floor were decent. No exactly spotless as when she left I found myself going over parts to make it more clean.
