It's been tough finding someone to do my hair that compares to her and needing to go to miami for that just isn't working. During the 2 years I did let this other hairdresser cut and dye my hair and it stopped growing. So you can say I'm skeptical and have a HUGE guard up. I've been feeling so ugly and hating my hair. And I even showed a video of the style I wanted. My hair was a HOT MESS with no shape to it. I was a bit embarrassed when I took it out the bun. When I tell you that she DELIVERED! She completely understood the assignment and even taught me how to style/ blow dry my hair so I can continue to make it look as if I came out of the salon. She even made sure to keep my length. You know sometimes hairdressers just wanna chop your hair off. I felt so pretty by the time I left there. What a difference hair makes and what a difference when someone does what they love. She didn't understand what I was saying and then as she's blow drying my hair, she didn't do the front and my natural wave pattern started to show and then she just tried to blow dry that straight over it, and it was frizzy and had a huge kink in it Didn't try to fix it and I told her can we fix this and she just brushed my hair over it was a little annoying and then she couldn't recommend me any products and the one that I was interested in they didn't have any of didn't offer to order nothing And then we moved out of town and I was back around my dad who is the licensed stylist and has always done. The service was overall wonderful. They were so sweet and the vibe of the salon is super positive. The reason i am rating it 3 stars is because of the actual work done. The shampoo was the best part. Lots of focus and the scalp massage was amazing. However, she blow dried my hair and it was not good. Yes, it was dry and it looked not great. She did not style it, didn't add anything to de-frizz it. Simply sprayed some hair spray and that was all. I felt bad because I loved her as a person but I will not be returning nor recommending anyone to this salon.
