I have been getting my nails done for six years now and I have been to more nail techs than I can…read morecount. I can confidently say that the male nail tech at this salon is hands down the best I have ever had. From the moment you sit down, you can tell that this man genuinely cares about his craft and takes pride in every single nail he works on. The level of attention to detail he brings to every appointment is unlike anything I have experienced anywhere else. I get super long nails, which I know is not easy to work with. Most techs I have been to in the past will rush through the process, cut corners, or just clearly want to get it over with. Not him. He takes his time with every single nail and makes sure everything is smooth, even, and flawless. There are never any lumps, bumps, or imperfections. Every time I leave, my nails look like they belong in a magazine. He clearly has a deep understanding of his craft and it shows in the finished product every single time without fail. What also sets him apart from every other tech I have been to is his attitude. He is genuinely kind, patient, and welcoming. I have been to salons where the techs make comments about the length I get or give me looks like I am being difficult for wanting what I want. He has never once made me feel judged or rushed. He treats every client with respect and makes you feel comfortable the entire time you are there. He actually pays attention to YOUR nails specifically and what works best for you rather than just doing the same cookie cutter set on everyone. That kind of personalized care is so rare and I appreciate it more than words can express. I will never go to another nail tech again. If you are looking for someone who will treat your nails like a work of art and treat you like a valued client, this is your guy. To the nail tech himself, I genuinely hope you know how talented you are and how much your work means to the people who sit in your chair. In an industry where so many people are just trying to get through appointments as fast as possible, you are one of the rare ones who truly treats this like an art form. Your patience, your kindness, and your dedication do not go unnoticed. You have completely changed what I expect from a nail appointment and honestly what I expect from customer service in general. You make people feel seen and valued, and that is a gift that goes far beyond just doing nails. I tell everyone I know about you because the world deserves to know that there are still people out there who pour their heart into what they do. Thank you for consistently going above and beyond and never making me feel like I am too much. You have a client for life in me

The Gold Standard! My Studio for Over Two Decades…read more I have been coming to TarraDean Studio for over 20 years, and I happily drive 50 minutes each way every single month for the experience! That should tell you everything you need to know about how phenomenal this salon is. Tarra Dean herself is an absolutely excellent stylist and a true master of her craft. The quality of her work is consistently superb. However, what makes this studio truly stand out is the entire team. Though I mainly see Tarra, I've had services with others and every single stylist is fantastic, professional, and highly skilled. Beyond the excellent services, the atmosphere is simply fun and welcoming. The people are genuinely great, the service is top-notch, and they make every visit feel like a special, amazing experience. If you are looking for a studio with unparalleled consistency, incredible talent, and a guaranteed good time, look no further. This place is worth the drive, worth the time, and worth every penny. I just wanted a regular one but real quick let him talk me into a gel pedicure for 17 more dollars. I was ok with it cause i thought spending 50 not including tip, i would definitely get a quality one. Everything was good at first but then it was over. He did nothing my feet were just like they were when i got there. He used no pedicure tools. I asked him to use one of them and he said no i just do it like that and i put good lotion. I said again can you use the tools for dry dead skin. He said no no. I said i am not happy you did not do anything. I asked again for him to please do a good job cause i didnt want to have to go elsewhere. He kept saying no i just scrub and lotion. I said i didnt want gel cause i was not happy. He went and got regular polish, when he came back i showed him what i was unhappy about and what i'd like done. He refused. I said dont even paint them you did nothing. I was 100% unhappy. He got mad and told me to get out. I have gotten 100's of pedicures and i wanted nothing extra. Just what is always done. First one of the season, i would of paid top dollar and tipped him great if he did a good job. I am having horrible experiences down here with customer service. I want nothing extra only what is expected. The language barrier , i feel is being used as an excuse. I went to my normal place in plymouth paid $32 got a great pedicure and left a 25 tip.
