Please note that I have ordered this food only through the Market Wagon website. Here are my reviews for the foods that I have bought: Lady lock cookies - 5 stars - These cookies had a flaky and moist outer shell and were filled with a wonderfully sweet cream. My husband loves lady lock cookies, and these cookies met his high expectations. Cookie sampler - 5 stars - The sampler contained cookies such as buckeyes, snickerdoodles, a seven-layer bar, and peanut-butter blossoms. One cookie was minty and was just OK. Strawberry pretzel pie - 4 stars - This pie had pretzels on the bottom and then strawberries, a jello-like substance, and whipped cream on top. The pie had a unique and sweet taste. S'mores - 5 stars - These s'mores were not typical s'mores. The marshmallow and graham crackers were on the inside, and the chocolate was on the outside rather than the inside. These s'mores were a tasty treat. Chocolate-dipped stroopwafels - 5 stars - These stroopwafels had a caramel filling and were covered in milk chocolate. I have eaten authentic stroopwafels in the Netherlands, and these ones tasted just as great. Chocolate-covered bacon - 4 stars - This combination of flavors was OK. The milk chocolate did not make the bacon soggy. Pasta salad - 4 stars - The ingredients of noodles, vegetables, and pepperoni were very fresh. Sfogliatelle - 4 stars - This sfogliatelle tasted sweet and had some citrus peel inside. The dough was NOT flaky as it was supposed to be. Snickerdoodle cookies - 5 stars - These snickerdoodles tasted exactly how they were supposed to taste, and they are one of my favorite types of cookies. Banana bread - 5 stars - This banana bread was moist and flavorful. Pecan tassies - 5 stars - I have eaten this dessert only once in my life, so it was new to me. The cookies were very fresh, and I liked the sweet sugar and pecans. Pineapple upside down cake - 4.5 stars - This pineapple upside down cake was moist and had a subtle flavor of pineapple. Chocolate-covered Oreos - 5 stars - These Oreo cookies were covered in milk chocolate and tasted very good. Carrot cake roll - 5 stars - This carrot cake was moist, and my husband enjoyed the icing. Cheesecake cup cookies - 4 stars - My husband liked these mini cheesecakes. Chocolate-covered strawberries - 5 stars - I have ordered these strawberries multiple times. These strawberries are always a large size, are covered in delicious milk chocolate, and are not soggy. Banana pudding dessert - 4.5 stars - This pie contained Nilla wafers, vanilla pudding, some slices of banana, and icing. It tasted very sweet. The Nilla wafers were no longer crispy. Zucchini bread - 5 stars - This zucchini bread had a moist center and a crispy crust, and I liked the flavor.

Christy has since stopped responding to all correspondence and despite agreeing to refund my money she has not done so. It's been 10 days since I requested the refund and she will not respond to me. USPS has confirmed she did not pay for guaranteed delivery therefore they are not liable for the late delivery. I would not recommend wasting your money here. Really disappointed as these were for my wedding.

For many years, I have shopped at this particular store when I am in the Strip District neighborhood. During my most recent visit, I saw candies such as caramels, gummies, jelly beans, Pez, lollipops, hard candies, freeze-dried candies, powdered candies, chocolate bars, bubblegums, and more--as well as other treats such as snack cakes and sodas. Prices are similar to what other stores charge. Online shopping is also available for shipping on the East Coast. I always enjoy looking at and eating the candies. Overall, Grandpa Joe's is a fun store for both children and adults who have sweet tooths.

Don't even get me started on how many types of Mountain Dew I've tried. While I was happy to find a Rocket Fizz in Pittsburgh, we had those in California too. Grandpa Joe's was new to me, and I dare say their stock was bigger? Candy of all varieties and eras, from M&Ms to pickle candies to Clark bars. Their soda game was on par with Rocket Fizz, though I couldn't find any Jones Nuka-Cola variants (they did have Jones but not what I was looking for). Plus they had a whole loft area dedicated to toys and games. I almost picked up the RuPaul's Drag Race version on the spot. Here's the real kicker: after the nice employee rang me out and put my purchases in a paper bag, I walked out and headed to the bus. When I got to my stop, though, that's when the hole in the bottom of the bag sent my root beer to its death all over 21st St. I really wanted that root beer though, so I walked back figuring they were just going to tell me "tough muffins." The guy though just let me pick up another one, no questions asked! I showed him the bag to prove I wasn't lying, and he discovered that all the bags on the counter had the same issue. He was super friendly to my anxiety-having ass, and definitely sealed the fifth star. I'm all about badass customer service. It makes a good place great and a great place extraordinary.
