Jump forward to the spring of 2026 and for the first time in my life, I went to see a private chiropractor. However, that proved to be way too expensive and had to look elsewhere. And in May 2026, I finally signed up for a 3-month membership at "The Joint" Chiropractic. My home base location is off of Madison/Sunrise in Citrus Heights but after being out of town on Friday/Saturday, I needed to get an adjustment on Sunday. There is where "The Joint Gold River" came in handy as they are the only location in my area that is currently opened on Sundays. Located directly off on Sunrise Ave and Golden Centre Lane in the Golden Towne Centre, this particular office has been in operation dating back to 2013. And since it is smack dab in between my office and home, it is a perfect location in case I needed to get my adjustment on my way home from work. The primary chiropractor here is Dr. Roger Brisbane who has been practicing since 1991 and has helped thousands of patients over the decades. If you are familiar with The Joint and are an active member, they simply scan your membership card and you wait until it is your turn. Since it is a first-come, first-serve basis, you may be seen immediately or experience a small wait time. I came during the afternoon on Sunday 6/21/2026 at around 12:20pm and was done with my adjustment by 12:45pm. I will say that Dr. Brisbane really helped alleviate a lot of the back pain that I was experiencing and did a fantastic job. He was able to use the proper methods and techniques to make sure all of my toxins were being released; primarily around the lower back and neck areas. Since every chiropractor is a little different, it can vary from one place to the next. I also wanted to say that the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating as she was positive and helpful. Sadly major retailers such as Starbucks and Bel Air have shuttered in 2026 as well as an Outback Steakhouse back in 2020. However, "The Joint Gold River" was a breath of fresh air as I felt much better after my adjustment. My rating, a unanimous five stars.

I genuinely appreciated him taking the time to contact me directly -- it meant a lot to hear from him and to know he cared enough to follow up. My feelings about the situation haven't changed, simply because finding out by text while trying to schedule my next appointment was unexpected after being a consistent patient for so long. But I do want to acknowledge his message and the sincerity behind it. I've always had positive experiences with him and his team, and I will truly miss this office and the care I received. The bigger issue here is the system itself. Our health insurance landscape has become so chaotic and unpredictable that both patients and providers end up caught in the crossfire. It puts everyone in impossible positions, and this was one of those moments where the system failed all of us. I appreciate that he reached out -- and I also think it's important to name how these insurance changes impact real people on both sides.

The pain from my lower back then caused sciatic pain. The pain was so bad to the point every step I took, I felt pain down my left leg. My lower back was so compressed. I decided to try the Ring Dinger for the first time and wow, I had instant relief! It's like having the Y strap effect go all the way down to your lower back. I'm so glad I trusted Dr. Bantique and tried it. My sciatic pain went from 100% to honestly 10% and seems to be getting better. I will continue to see Dr. Bantique and recommend him to all my family, friends, and co workers. Thank you for making a difference Dr. Bantique!

The adjustment, my husband, my brother, and I received were top notch. My hips felt immediately much better after one session. I was able to stand and walk for a longer period of time without it hurting. My husband shoulder and back pain subsided exponentially. From the front desk manager, Kadi, to Dr. Gunderson himself, both were exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. Thank you both so much from the bottom of our hearts for top notch treatment.

Husband and wife team and both are super nice and gave great service. Kady runs the front and she never got irritated with me being late or missing an appointmen, always understanding and always made room for me soon after missed appointmen. Im not really a talking on the phone type of person so she had no problem texting instead of calling which I totally prefer. I went there after a bad slip and fall that left me with horrible upper body pain and after the 4 months I feel like myself again. The best part is the massage beds in the back, they aren't those cheesy ones you see in a mall I mean these beds actually hit the right spots with the perfect amount of pressure and I was never ready to get off of them. I love how it's a family atmosphere as well, you get a warm welcoming feel walking in the doors which i appreciate. I totally recommend this place if you are searching for a chiropractor in rancho Cordova. Its right off the freeway and lots of parking.

I have to say, that today is my day to write the reviews I need. I am in fact taking my time away…read morefrom other things to do so, as I think that the feedback we all provide is important for those who are seeking opinions from others for services at a particular establishment. We have to take the time to let others know either how bad is the situation we are walking into or how much you will benefit from going to a place. Thankfully, the latter is the case Spainhower Chiropractic. I was walking and was distracted as I turned my back to get out of the way and my ankle rolled into the edging of the grass and sidewalk. Not paying attention leads to injury. Though it was not serious , the pain was incredible! I thought maybe I could muster through the pain and just wait a few days before seeing a physician. I did the norm ice, motrin, elevation. That was a blunder. I started having such dreadful pain in my ankle, leg and every time I tried to put the slightest weight, I would freak out. It was crazy! The pain was unbearable, so much that I couldn't take it. Went to Urgent care, they took an xray and said no fracture or broken bones , just injury to my soft tissues, so they wrapped my foot and sent me home with meds. I really don't take any medication at all if I can deal with the pain. If I absolutely have to then I will. Weeks passed and my ankle was not better. I had been using a scooter & cane to get around. I couldn't go to work and or about my everyday business. I am a very busy individual, my time is valuable and my right ankle not working was a setback . I was determined to go back to my doctor if the pain did not subside. It didn't in fact it got much worse throughout each day ( the easiest way to describe it is, getting a paper cut or even using a knife incorrectly and slicing yourself) Can you just imagine that same pain on the back of your achilles tendon?! Unbearable!! I made an appt with my PCP and she was scheduling another xray and MRI. After going home and not feeling any relief I was finally at my breaking point. I was in serious pain, I couldn't straighten myself up, thus I decided to go see Dr Spainhower in my 5th week of being injured. BEST DECISION EVER! I went there the first time around May 23rd before I went in vacation and it was a consult and exam of my foot. Today is just the 13th of June I am back on track! I can walk independently without a cane but still take it when I walk a far distance or in public. After the 5th visit , I will say that I feel 90% better! He did an adjustment, trying to reset my ankle, laser to promote quicker healing used this tape for support. This is almost incredible. It is so frustrating when you have an everyday routine and something like this happens. Dr. Spainhower and the staff are cordial and want the best for their patients. They are welcoming , considerate, patient & very professional. I will be there next week as I am attending a well class. As someone who is very apprehensive with the thought of any pain I'm glad I made the decision to come in!
