PT said, no exercise and to leave it alone for a few weeks and ice it and work on my posture. ? Needless to say, conflicting info, and to not be able to work (type), sleep or drive for 6-8 weeks?!! I was tired and frustrated and went to The Joint in Gold River hoping for some relief. From the moment I walked in they helped me with the forms, I could not write, or do all other things that required my hand/arm. Dr. Brisbane, said he wasn't sure how much he could help with the pain, but he could help with mobility. He did a few adjustments and the very next day my arm mobility went from none to halfway to shoulder-height and the pain was isolated to only my shoulder. Two days after FIRST appointment, I went back, even he was shocked at the quick improvement. Each visit brought better arm mobility and less pain. By the following week I was sore but had total mobility. My Christmas was saved! Now, I know the calcification heals itself, but I am convinced the docs at The Joint sped up this process and definitely got all surrounding pain, from muscles/joints compensating for my shoulder, under control.
