The burger was made with some kind of magic or something, i dont know for sure but maybe Bigfoot had something to do with it. I am recommending this spot to anyone and everyone because that burger was indescribably good. Call me plankton because i need that recipe. Seriously good job guys. 9999999/10

They have patio seating and a nice open area for ordering lineups and parking. We got a couple items and they were all fresh, delicious, and generous in portion size. Although they're mostly known for burgers, we ordered a fish and chips for variety. It came with 2 large pieces of lightly battered fish, crispy on the outside and flakey fish inside without being heavily oily. The coleslaw it came with was the only thing we didn't enjoy, as it was too creamy and didn't have much flavor. We got three burgers: 5 alarm, classic and little foot. All the burgers had a delicious beef patty which was juicy inside, a little crispy outside and just enough char flavor (not burnt). 5 alarm had deep fried jalapenos which was quite a pleasant surprise. The classic was a good size and well-balanced. The Little Foot was the priciest of the 3 but definitely worth the extra dollars as it comes packed with goodies! Requires some assembly, but what a beauty when it's all put together! Overall it was a wonderful experience for amazing burgers and worth the drive out! Reasonable prices for generous portions!!

We stumbled upon this place after a quick Google search for nearby breweries and I am so glad my friends and I came across this gem! Upon entering, I immediately noticed the vibrant lush greenery hanging from the ceiling - love!! The restaurant oozes cozy but nature-y vibes and we were very excited to try their signature brews. We waited briefly to be sat on the patio. After being seated, a kind waitress immediately came over and gave us suggestions on drinks. While my friends are avid beer drinkers, I myself prefer ciders so I ordered the watermelon smash and it was so yummy! My friend also loved her flight which featured a variety of different beers. The oceanside lager was the overall favourite in the entire group. Another honourable mention was the fuzzy peach tasting beer which I really enjoyed despite not being a beer drinker. My boyfriend and I ordered the chowder and ribs to share. Despite the food taking quite some time to arrive, it was well worth the wait. My pick is definitely the chowder as it was packed with seafood and flavour! The added bannock was also very delicious - we shared it with our friends and they ended up devouring most of it haha. I recommend this place especially if you're not from around the area as it has great ambiance and food.

Goat Jack's was a former White Spot which was renovated for new ownership. Unfortunately shortly before they were to reopen a truck was left in neutral at the top of the parking lot and rolled down the slope crashing into the newly renovated restaurant. Thankfully repairs were done and Jacks opened. It's a nice space, maybe a little dark, but with a bright bar area. We were quickly seated in the back left in a very large booth for the four of us. The menu features wings, but has other offerings as well. The lovely K ordered the wings with hot sauce and the nachos, neither of which she found to be very good. I had the BBQ burger, and fries, both of which were pretty good. Taste is a personal matter, but service isn't, and our server was excellent. Her only faux pas was filled our friend's Mike's Hard lemonade glass with water when it was almost empty while she had a full water glass beside. She apologized program's fetched Val another Mike's on the house. The four was more about the service than the food, but again taste is a personal thing, but you can't beat great service. They just have to get the food up a half a notch in our opinion.

Would have been longer but the people in front of us gave up and left. Could see many empty tables, but was told they were reserved. They sat empty well after we were seated; what a waste. The hostess was like a deer in the headlights, when she seated us we learned she was also our waitress! We came for cod (Have since learned it is rockfish) & chips special, but the price was only reduced from $24 to $21, not a great deal. The food took a long time to come. We noticed people who had come after us finishing before we got ours. The fish looked beautiful, and the batter nice and crispy, but the fish was very dry and very fishy tasting. The fries underneath were greasy and soggy. The tarter sauce was runny, and the coleslaw lacked dressing. We would have sent it back but never saw the waitress again until she brought the bill, and took our plates. We made a point of telling her to which she only said "I'll pass that on to the chef". We won't be back, and do not recommend. There are many many better choices in town.

Waitress walked off and never came back with my water. Had to track her down twice to request water before I finally got water. Ordered basted eggs with English muffin, got eggs over medium with whole grain toast. Politely said, I actually ordered English muffin, (did not mention that I didn't order fried eggs) she said "are you sure you don't want the toast? I said, no, I would like the English muffin. She walked off and served several other tables and started filling their drink orders. My husband tracked down a different person to get my English muffin, by then my not basted eggs were cold. I get it, mistakes happen to the best of us. A simple acknowledgment or apology would have been welcome, but not a word. It made me feel like I was the one being difficult and I hate being that person. It isn't cheap eats, so I simply wanted what I paid for. The fried potato hash towns were tasty and well seasoned, the eggs (however they were cooked) were good enough. Overall the food is what you expect for a traditional breakfast. If you don't expect amazing service you will enjoy the meal well enough.
