    Dr Dow and his staff were very amiable and took me in on time, answered all my questions and I left thinking this is my NEW dentist.

Went to Confi Dental as dentist that had the same office retired & the former took over. I chose to go to them. I am on Medicare & have an Advantage plan. First few years were ok as visits were just for checkups, cleanings & x-rays. Never a problem with those being covered. The office staff, beginning with the office manager, is the problem. Her people skills need work. I was rescheduled for my 6 month visit once late last year, then again into 2026, then again when the office was not having patient visits on Fridays. Every time I got a msg from them, it was a nightmare to call back to reschedule. And they sent me texts to confirm after I'd called to confirm. A week after I had my 6 month (including x-rays), I broke an old crown. I went in a few days later for an x-ray & exam. One office staffer said she'd make me an appointment t/b measured for a new crown. The confusion began when the office mgr said no, a Prior Authorization needed t/b submitted to my insurance co & that it would take 2 weeks. After calls to find out status, it was more like 4-6 weeks. Over 6 weeks later (end of April) most of $2025 of work was denied d/t x-ray not being submitted to insurance co. Confi Dental NEVER told me. Since early May, I've been calling to see if Prior Auth was resubmitted with needed x-ray. Office kept telling me it would be, & that they would call me back. They never called back. This happened over 3 times. Insurance co said it was never resubmitted. Now Dentist's office is 'having phone problems'. Can't leave a message, can't talk to anyone, no one calls me. Insurance co could not get thru either. Insurance co said today that a picture of the broken crown was faxed to them but they could not use it. It is not an x-ray. Almost 4 months & I still have a broken tooth. Finding a new dentist & filing an appeal. DO. NOT. GO. TO. THIS. DENTIST.

    9/2/20 My semi-annual checkup was initially scheduled in…read moreJune, but was postponed due to the coronavirus madness. It was rescheduled three months later to today, 9/2/20. Extreme protocols are in place at Dr. Greenberg's office, and thankfully so. When you arrive, they ask that you call from your vehicle before coming to the door. The receptionist comes and escorts you in, takes your temperature and O2 reading, reads a warning form, and has you read and sign a Covid questionnaire. The hygienist is masked, shielded and gowned. Aside from all those understandable precautions, my cleaning and checkup went very well, as always. Before you leave, Dr.Greenberg comes in to give you a final oral check, as he always does. He too had all precautions for his and his patient's safety & well being. I'm always impressed with the dental care I receive from him and all his staff.

Gradually as an adult I have been "growing up" and dealing with my dentist anxiety. The pleasant staff and Dr Greenberg are definitely helpful in my desire to deal with my dental issues. So what do I like most? Dr Greenberg listens and helps me make the best decisions for my dental needs, he doesn't decide for me. He tells me my options and we make a plan. A plan that is flexible based on any dental changes and my financial concerns. Most of the Dentists that I have dealt with in my life have pretty much tried to decide for me. We're doing this, then we're doing that. There's been no discussion about other choices or why... they seemed to just want me to schedule appointments and show up with my money. Dr Greenberg office is well equipped with the latest equipment (so actually, I am not a dentist and don't know what all the latest dental equipment is... but Dr Greenberg seems to have a lot of high tech equipment, can't imagine there is much he doesn't have). So if you want to go to a Dentist with a well run office, high degree of skill, who will listen to you... Dr Greenberg is a great choice.

    Huge privacy issue…read more They leave their tablet with patient information unlocked for patients to use. Meanwhile, the patient using the tablet is receiving notifications on the tablet regarding other patient's information. And if the person using the tablet touches on one of the notifications, it will take them to someone else's information. Huge privacy violation and risk. I am sure many patients information has been breached. Also the interior design needs improvement. I got Houdini / haunted mansion / crazy cat lady vibes. But with their huge privacy/hippa issue, that's the least of their worries. And to top it off, they're like salesmen. Looking to squeeze every dime out of you. You can tell the difference between a practitioner who does it for the right reasons vs a practitioner who sees it as money. This office is definitely about sales. I do not recommend Wolfy Dental Group Wallingford. Are there any professionals anymore? Jeez The dentist uses what appears to be a snap chat filter on what is supposed to be a professional headshot. I started coming here for my daughter, on the pediatric side, and then found myself in search of a dentist & made the change to Wolfy Dental. My daughter enjoys her visits in large part due to Amy's gentle approach with kids & making it fun and educational.
