Just prior to my husband's passing, he noticed a tire pressure warning light but he was unable to fix it or get to Fuerst for help. Today I drove our car for the first time since my husband died. I drove to Fuerst and with my cane hobbled to the front door to find that it was closed. As I got into my car to leave, Mike came out the front door to ask what kind of help I needed. I was in tears due to circumstances, apologized and explained. Mike offered condolences and even though they were closed, he told me to pull up and he would check my tires. Mike was so gracious, patient and kind. He properly inflated all 4 tires and said if the warning light returns to come back on Monday. As a family owned business, Fuerst Automotive continues to prove how much it values its customers and cares about the community. Mike is a prime example of that excellence. I don't know of many businesses that would've reached out when closed to help someone during a difficult time. I wish I could give Fuerst 10 stars because they deserve it. I had an extremely frustrating experience with this installer. From the start, he was suspiciously…read morepersistent in trying to get me to come to him for the radio installation, offering various "solutions" to get me there, which should have been a red flag. When I finally did, he claimed my radio was faulty and spent 30 to 55 minutes just playing with wires without actually doing anything. I was skeptical, so I tested the radio myself using a multimeter and a DC power supply outside of the car, and it powered on perfectly. To double-check, I also tested it inside the car, and the radio worked just fine. When I confronted him, he tried to cover his tracks by reinstalling my old radio, which powered up immediately, contradicting his earlier claims about faulty wiring. He tried to brush it off with a weak excuse, but it was clear he was lying. This guy is a scammer--avoid him at all costs.
