The filter sheet metal housing was bent and damaged and the only people replacing the filters was Klings for the past 19 years. Maybe they should check their records more throughly. During the last PM, their technician jammed the filter in, causing it to catch on the fan - AC stopped working. This could have damaged the unit. Maybe the technician should have fixed the problem first and I wouldn't be blamed for the damage. Find another company to use.

At some point before the technician left my house he broke the window pane in my son's bedroom (the hot water heater is located in a closet). He never said a word to me about it but placed the broken pane on the floor behind a portable AC to the left of the window itself. I called 1800HEATERS immediately after the technician left and I discovered the broken glass. I was told that a customer service manager would call me on Monday morning. No one ever called. I called at 1pm and spoke with Eddie who would not provide me with his last name. He was quite rude and implied that it wasn't broken during my installation because I "didn't hear it break". He then told me that he was submitting the information and that I would have a resolution by the end of business day. Again, no phone call was received. I called back the following morning and was told that the manager would call me when he arrived at 10am. He called and was again extremely rude and condescending. He informed me that a damage claim was already filed with Home Depot (which turned out to be another lie) and that there was nothing else he could do for me. When I asked who I should contact at Home Depot or what department he told me that he had no idea who I should call and didn't provide me with any further information.
