Recently, the Tropical Smoothie Cafe near Tatum and Cactus closed permanently. My wife and I were…read moreregulars there since they opened in 2021, and there was a note on their door a few weeks ago when they closed directing us to one of the two nearby locations. Today, we went to one of them for our first time, which was the location at Scottsdale Road and Thunderbird Road. We enjoyed getting our regular smoothies but it wasn't the same though the space was larger with more seating. Today, we ordered our favorite 24 oz smoothie (Sunrise Sunset, made with strawberries, pineapple, mango, and orange juice), which we had them split into two 12 oz cups so that we could share it. While it was tasty as usual, the staff were not as warm and friendly as the staff we got to know at the Tatum and Cactus location (though they were certainly polite and helpful). At other locations, we often share a smoothie and a flatbread, which comes with a side. Today, we received a coupon on the receipt for a $1.99 flatbread with the purchase of a smoothie in the future. Their regular menu includes bowls, smoothies, flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, and wraps. Also, the app offers bonus points and discounts on occasion including a free smoothie on your actual birthday. You actually get a free smoothie just for signing up for the program (after your first purchase). Other benefits for the reward program include earning 10 points per $1 spent, learning about offers, and earning rewards. You can also order ahead on the app to skip the line while you're on your way. To join the reward program, go to https://www.tropicalsmoothiecafe.com/rewards and click on JOIN NOW. Feel free to use my referral code (Cohaps5136). I have also learned that if you have T-Mobile, their T-Mobile Tuesday program often offers a free Tropical Smoothie Cafe 24 oz smoothie. We look forward to coming back again soon as we now know where there is a nearby location now that our location Tropical Smoothie Cafe has closed.

I was even here bright and early this morning! It has a decent seating area and a small patio area, too. The patio is good when it's nice and warm out while the indoor seating area is perfect if it's a bit cooler out. There are individual seats, small tables, and large tables. I have always found the staff to be very pleasant and quick to prepare an order whether food or drinks. I have gotten into the habit of ordering using the Starbucks app so that I have a shorter wait after arriving (if any) but have found that ordering is quick regardless of ordering in person or via the app at this Starbucks. This most recent time I visited while I waited for my accountant to stop by and drop off documents for me was a good experience as I ordered a Strawberry Acai Lemonade for me in person. It came out rather quickly with only a short wait. While other locations have the challenge where they sometimes have a customer picking up the wrong order, I have never had an issue like that at this location. I also like how the baristas are treated at this location. They even have a fun sign to recognize them all and help customers "meet" their baristas. As most Starbucks frequenters know, you should have the app with some funds on it and ideally a Gold Card. There are often deals through the app whether a discount or buy one get one free or bonus stars, which can be used to redeem free drinks or food. I enjoy the games that come out about twice a year and can lead to bonus stars, sweepstakes, and more. I'm glad that there's a Starbucks in this part of town where I can visit with friends or colleagues as need be. I anticipate I'll be back again soon!

I was actually there to get a pre workout powder from business next door, Peak Nutrition. And I happened to see on the map there was a juice shop. All in all, great juice. I had the evergreen with beets added. The ladies working at the counter were friendly. Price is on the "higher" end because it's healthy food, which usually comes at a premium. I'm not saying it's expensive. My juice was $8 for the smallest size. Thats same as a latte from a coffee shop or a boba tea. But I'm just saying it's not fast, cheap food. Not sure if they use organic produce. I didn't ask. I would come here again to try a smoothie or other juices. With all the foodz and booze I consumed, I also love healthy stuff. Great to detox my system. Cheers to your health!

I mean, did I top it generously with a lot of cheese? Yeah. Does the dressing-to-salad ratio make it seem more like a creamy vegetable soup instead? Also, yeah... BUT STILL! Here at Robeks, you can feel like treating yourself while also getting your serving of fruits and vegetables. So far I've tried the Hero's Garden Smoothie (fresh spinach, matcha green tea, pineapple, mango, banana, spirulina, flax seeds, and apple juice) + Trim Burner, Avocado & Egg Toast (avocado and a hard-boiled egg with plant-based bacon, olive oil, pink himalayan salt, and Pepper), and their Fig & Prosciutto Toast (fig spread, prosciutto, cream cheese, a drizzle of olive oil, and cracked black pepper on a thick slice of sourdough toast). Items are about $10 each, so it's not the most cost efficient, but with them being around the corner from my gym, it's hard to resist. Seating is incredibly limited here, so take your goodies to go. I had an all-around positive experience and would consider going back for another smoothie and perhaps other food or drink items in the future. I arrived mid-morning on a Saturday where several people were enjoying smoothies or juices outside. When I went inside, there was only one other family inside getting their orders. I went right up front and spoke to the employee about their recommendations and how everything worked. I signed up for their loyalty club and placed an order for a fruit smooth (Tropical Strawberry consisting of strawberry, pineapple, orange, and banana though I left out the banana). It was ready quite quickly and was very tasty and fruity. Paradise Juice is locally owned and has been in service since 2000 as the blend fresh fruits, vegetables, and superfoods into energizing and vibrant drinks. Their mission is to serve real, refreshing goodness. They serve seasonal smoothies, superfood smoothies, super smoothies, Valley favorite smoothies, fruit smoothies, vegetable juices, acai bowls, sandwiches and wraps, breakfast items, salads, bakery items, and more.
