This review is solely for their oatmeal. On Wednesdays, this location has oatmeal for $2.31, plus two free toppings! What a steal! I was surprised at how large it was. I was expecting a skimpy little bowl, but it was a normal-sized container. I got strawberries and granola as my two toppings. The oatmeal is not sweetened, so the granola was a really great choice. It kind of "melted" in with the rest of the oatmeal and provided a slight sweet taste! For $2.31, this is quite a deal. I'll be back every Wednesday! read more

No matter which Jamba Juice I go to; whether in the corner of Battery st or Kearny St, I go to Jamba Juice many times as if it's almost my favorite place to have special smoothies. I'm glad to finally see blue spirulina and, in late December, turmeric! I'll be looking forward to seeing that Jamba puts raw (unprocessed) cacao in the mix. Having different superfood flavors from different countries do help make cultures unite. Aside from that, they have good decent fruit and veggie blends. I wouldn't mind if Jamba makes artificial sweeteners such as White Gummy. For most of the blends, it's better to have no artificial flavors, colors, and even preservatives. We decided to go here because it's quick and there's a Jamba Juice on every street corner in San Francisco, I got a peanut butter bowl and my friend got an apple/veggie bowl. We enjoyed how delicious they were but wished for more toppings. They were also very watery as well, they were almost like smoothies in a bowl. Can't really complain though because we did enjoy them! I'm forever addicted to Jamba Juice. My favorite thing about them is their açaí and pitaya bowls. Compared to everywhere else in the Bay Area, Jamba Juice's bowls are definitely a hidden gem. They serve just as much in portion size as the juice bars do, and they are basically half the price. I definitely recommend signing up for their rewards program. It's super easy, and I like the rewards app they have too. They barely send you any emails, and the ones they do send you always include a discount code. This may be one of my favorite Jamba Juices in the city - in terms of accessibility and friendly customer service I'm not really a Jamba Juice kind of girl. Their drinks are a little too sugary for me. Their baked goods look a little too unappetizing for me and their steel cut oatmeal is made with soy-milk. But I do appreciate a good wheat grass shot and Jamba Juice is great for that. I went with the not-so-healthy, but-I'd-like-to-claim-it's-fiber-ridden Choco Monkey (I may be saying this name wrong). The smoothie consisted of bananas, cocoa powder, yoghurt and peanut butter. I have to say I was feeling like a rock star after drinking this dandy every morning. Where do you go when you hate work and want to get out of the office so you could talk shit about your boss? JAMBA JUICE!! Wynne and I used to come here for our 3 o clock bitching sessions. We sooooo needed them. Can you imagine running a whole office, just the 2 of us with 150 people that we had to ensure were happy and then being paid the salary of a inexperienced receptionist? Not to mention we were given lame ass titles that prevented us from being paid as much as we should. OH CRAP... this should be about Jamba Juice not about the job i once had. Anyway, we used to come here. Wynne always got an orange juice and carrot drink and i got peach perfection or blue eyed & blueberry. Good antioxidants! Service here is kinda slow. Sometimes they only have 2 people working, one at the register and one making drinks. This is even when its really busy. I kinda made friends with this black chick. She's fun. We always have some kind of banter going on between us. It's my haven away from work. However, this is what gave it 5 stars. I had left my old job and started working at Twitter, Inc. (we just won a crunchy award btw) and i was wearing just a brown hollister thermal and some slim jeans and blah shoes. I went up to the counter and ordered my drink , a original peach perfection with no boost. The Acai Supercharger I had here was severely diluted. It might as well have been purple ice. The Acai mix is supposed to be 32 oz of Acai concetrate and 32 ounces of water. Don't dilute it. Usually I love Jamba Juice, and have never had a bad experience until today. I had just finished spectating the Prologue of the Amgen Tour of California and was walking back to my car when I decided to stop for a Berry Fulfilling. 12 minutes later--yes, 12--I walked out with my drink. There was no one else in line and there were 3 people working, and it took them 12 minutes to get me my drink. At first they got the wrong one, and then they got the wrong size, and THEN they didn't put in my boosts (protein, burner). Seriously, it isn't that hard to do this. The staff here is friendly and most of the time pretty quick to turn around your drinks. I only come to this location because it's right by my job. But I think I should just walk a couple blocks to the Battery St. location. The workers here need to be re-trained or something. I order an acai bowl all the time with no coconut and honey and I still get it with honey and coconut. That's happened to me a couple times now. And when I ordered a pastry the other day, it was burnt. Why would you serve your customer something burnt? Last week, I came in and the worker made me wait for her to finish mopping the floor till she took my order. Are you serious?! You work in the customer service industry- your job is to serve people. You have customers and you're making them wait so you can finish mopping the floor? Okay, so I'm on a mission now. My favorite smoothie place, Surf City Squeeze, got put out of business by Jamba Juice, and now I'm annoyed that I can't get anything other than the double J. When I first moved to San Francisco several years ago, I was so excited to have a chain like Jamba Juice offering healthy alternatives on every corner. Now that I can't find anything else, though, I'm a little miffed. Tired of all the same flavors, I decided to take JJ up on their "substitute any fruit" offer. I asked for a banana smoothie with nothing else. I've now tried it at different JJs, sometimes with juice, sometimes with nondairy mix, sometimes with the sherbet...as many different ways as I could. Here's the thing, though--it doesn't taste like banana. It tastes like chemical supplements, no matter what they mix with it. Now I can't have any jamba juice smoothie without tasting that chemical taste. It's really unfortunate, but I just want something that's really just fruit. The kicker for me was seeing that JJ is dominating in Kona on a recent trip to Hawaii. On an island where mangos, papayas, oranges, bananas, persimmons, lemons, and all kinds of other fruit grow outside your window, they make the same formulaic chemical smoothies. Very sad. What a lousy Jamba juice! They didn't know how to work the register so the line just to order was LONG. Three or four different people kept trying to work the register. The whole operation was so uncoordinated. I had two gift cards in my hand. I used up one gift card and the guy said, "now you still owe me a dollar". What kind of bad phrasing is that!
